Weller digital heat controlled soldering iron, unscrew the metal tip to expose the ceramic heating element, turn it on to what temp. you want, put your dab on your plate and with a quartz straw in 1 hand and the iron in the other, touch or barely touch the dab a few times, dab a dab dab, best way I have found so far. No more torches/open flame and butane, no way Jose.

i made one of these myself for like 100 bucks not that it’s better than this thing but if your on a budget amazon sells a enail that has that same coil heating device and just fasten it to something sturdy

The problem with the terp hammer and dab ready is that they are about 3 times what they really should cost, I'd be fine if it were half what it is but 500 dollars for what is essentially an induction unit with a thermometer on it. The terp hammer itself is even worse since it's basically a piece of stainless with a handle and some terp pearls inside. Materials cost is about 20 dollars maximum and it isn't a complex part to machine. It's to the point where I have a friend willing to pay me to copy them and make one for both of us and whoever helps since we could probably make three for the price of one. Though maybe it is a little hard for some people to get access to cnc lathes or mills.

You can do the same thing with a normal e nail coil. I just set it on a tea plate and put my banger in the coil.

I love my enail setup, just push a button and do something while it heats stays heated for bigger dabs. obviously not as cheap as some options but the benefit of using any piece that has the same joint size (or an adapter) as my banger is just too good.

guarentee you the amound of times he said "it will burn your house down" has actually prevented at least one person from doing just that!

I no longer combust my flower I use a Lobo from POTV and it smacks w/ a WPA on it. There are some crazy things out there now for people to consume how they want. I've never hit a ball vape but I would love to try it sometime. Have you seen the Terpcicle and it's dad the Megacicle from TRWW? Heard something about them making a heated quartz dome w/ a PID. Other companies are making heated bowls for injector ball vapes. Crazy stuff out there.

If any of you guys want a more budget friendly option that performs neck n neck with the terp hammer check out the Cloud Connoisseur Omega, recently got it as my first ball vape after trying my friends terp hammer and I’ll never go back to combustion. Works the same way and even allows for 20mm bangers 👍

been using this device for a minute now myself. its pretty fire! glad i skipped erigs entirely, but i do plan on getting a puffco peak pro for travel reasons. I run the 25mm spinner bucket from oldhead but with 4 terp pearls, and i heat the pearls with me banger. the hits are so smooth this way.

Too clumsy for exposed heating elements. Big no no for me. Already learned my lesson. I’ll still eventually get a terp hammer tho, for those special occasions and immediately put away. Personally, having it on often throughout the day would be a burn or fire hazard for my clumsy self

I've never owned a rig. Never used torches. Got into concentrates 4 years ago. Utillian 5 and then have been using core 2.1 since. I'm going on a journey to find the right rig. Whether it's mini rig or a recycler or whatever.

You can achieve the same with a regular pid, coil, and a stand to hold the handle.

I use MAP gas which is much hotter/faster than butane or propane so I use less. Guess I will remain old school. Oh, I've done a lot of plumbing so the torch is NBD.

I actually think that while a blowtorch is unsafe some of this electrical stuff is even more unsafe. The chances of leaving a blow torch on when you leave your house is so low. But with this thing you could leave it on and if something happens and it gets too hot and runs away it’ll burn your house down. I trust myself not to drop a blowtorch more than I trust some of these Chinese made electronics

can't for the life of me pay for butane lol way cheaper is green bottle of gas from walmart 5$ and a torch tip lol whole setup less than 15$ and one tank last me almost a year depending on how many dabs i do... i have a e rig but my dog chewed on it cause my son left it out... but yeah love me e rig

Just use a quartz dab straw. You can get monster hits. We scaled down to the straw and a torch. Cheaper and effective.
