and they didnt. they retired supporitng the game and feels like they never even really finished it in the 1st place. wont be buying any other games them/they make
The red flags have been there all along. These devs are arrogant and shady. The 'MMO' thing is just an excuse to force people to play online, it adds nothing to the game. They just want you to see cosmetics for the FOMO.
As someone planning on making a Pokémon stadium style game, this is really frustrating. How can my game company really show off that we understand what the fans want, and aren’t going to give up because we don’t want to make the game the fans you want.

i remember playing a lot of TemTem a couple of years ago, but i stopped cuz the level curve of it was just awlful. Like, every dojo leader were at least 10 levels higher than all my TemTems and i was unnable to rematch other trainers so i had to fight wild temtems, which were ten levels lower than mine (something that also made it difficult to expand my team, because every time I wanted to get a new TemTem, I would have to spend more time battling just to level it up to my team.) and the game also took like, 5 seconds to load an battle, so the grind was sooooo tedious. Idk if they have fix it but if they havent i don't think i will return to play the game any time soon. Its like an worse version of Pokémon Crystal imo
The game is still "early access" which means that it is not completely finished yet. But no one knows how long it will take them to get the game "release ready".
I kind of understand why they dont add more islands because giving it out for free dont bring in enough money. What I dont understand is why they didnt add DLCs like 1 new island with 20 new tems als DLC for around 15 to 20 bucks.
I personally never saw Temtem as a life service game or an MMO for me it was the same as a pokemon game or coromon or nexomon. It was just a monster catching game and a such I played it with the same expectation I have for every pokemon game etc. As long there are no bugs and enough mons to catch and battle I am satisfied.
I played it 4 years ago in early access and had fun for around 45 hours. now after 4 years I bought my gf the game and I started over again together with her and we now play it again. I cant say it enough it is a really good monster catching game and I kind of like it more than the newest pokemon games.
temtem 2 wouldnt be great people would have to high expectations. I just hope they concentrate on spinoffs and I heard something about an animated series, this would be cool. otherwise maybe a story driven temtem game.
Crema would just make 1 big dlc in a year with one island and few temat, some new mechanic or gimmick, maybe some new forms of relesed tems and ppl would be greatfull. But no... Its better to piss off your own community
i literally wanted to buy this game since i love pokemon and entire gameplay mechanics of pokemon games but i wanted to play it on pc. 2 months ago i addded it to the wishlist. im checking the steam page now and its mostly negative LMAO.

i regret buying it. just thought hey next gen multiplayer pokemon! didnt realize that 1. you can only do real multiplayer after beating the game 2. has 1 of the worst cheap cheating last bosses of all time and i beat so many RPGS and most fronsoft games 100% multiple times each starting including sekiro on xbox AND playstation, and those bosses were challenging but i wouldnt call them cheaters like temtem when the boss had multiple turns and always switched tem in the middle of YOUR turn so they always had the right element to critical you and when you were about to critical them, with the corresponding elemental weakness, theyd switch to a tem that was strong defense against the attack you already are lined up to use, plus the countdown that will just game over if you dont win the fight in time. was so bad and annoying 3. the wokeness, forced to choose pronouns but cant name your character names like "booger" or "poopy" cus INVALID NAME! PROFANITY DETECTED! gimma a break. you cant use a word that even 3 year olds can say but THEM/THEY can force their woke agenda pronouns on everyone, in a teen 13+ rated game?! what a joke hope the whole studio goes out of business for good
@@ezclapper7224 dont. they never finished the game and then they just gave up and retired it before even finishing it. has 1 of the worst cheapest cheating bosses of all games I ever played since the 1st nintendo and you cant even do weekly/daily challenges until you beat the whole game. pretty sure you can only do pvp battles until you beat the whole game too and since they stopped supporting the game probably wont be any more weekly challenges to do so I too, just quit playing
@@THaB4DGuY I have beat the final boss without many difficulty (the previous one was harder) with one item used (two for the previous). Predicts your opponent's actions, learn the type of every temtem of your opponent, focus on the biggest threats to your team and start with the goods temtems. Thanks to this, I have beat the two lasts fights.
@@antoineschemel8564 no. the boss literally will take multiple turns, skip your turn, interrupt your turn and take another turn during your turn just to rotate his tem to one that is resistent/high defense to your attack that you already chose and were waiting to perform. meanwhile theres a countdown of like 10 turns before the whole arena collapses and you lose
It feels like Temtem was just made to turn out money. Especially with how they talk about fans never being satisfied. I personally hate Temtem because 1, I think the battle mechanic of only having one stamina bar is stupid for a casual Pokémon player like me who just wants to play a game as it is and experience a good story, and 2, it made people even more aggressive against Pokémon. Like people keep on praising the ever lasting daylights out of Temtem just because it's difficult. And people don't even bother understanding how Gamefreak is making the Pokémon games and just immediately scream that Gamefreak is lazy like one person is the big bad guy that has to be defeated which is ridiculous.
Not to mention "the fans aren't satisfied" when the only people they seem to be listening to is like. The 3 people playing competitive pvp. Look at the patch notes dawg 💀
