Been watching this channel since i was a kid when i was collecting the pullback robot wars toys and have stuck around for a while so long it'll make me feel depressed lmao, but i've been watching more then ever with the reviews of battlebots epis which has made me discover my love for the show, and watching your reviews of doctor who epi made me start watching the show again, infact the last 2 seasons i've been watching the show just so i could watch you and Anthony review them and take the piss! Between them and Antweight Anarchy i love watching this channel, i might not watch the toy reviews apart from the battlebot toy reviews, but love the rest of the channel content, whatever happens with channel, its some of the best entertainment on here!

I really do enjoy the toy reviews that you make, part of that is the DW content with it but still, it really is entertaining with how high quality the production is for the review. I don’t mind that they have to take a back seat for now in order for the YT algorithm to work for ya, so I’d say put it in the back pocket for now. I wouldn’t mind seeing other things like the Spoilerific reviews or just little podcasts stuff with you and Anthony being more prominent in the channel.

Been watching your Drop Zone stuff since season 4 of BB and I can understand why it, and the Spoilerific stuff, does so well, it's in the same vein as video essays and stuff like that, videos that will always get views cos people wanna know the details and the everything behind them, and whiling away an hour or so listening to you and Anthony talk robot fighty stuff is awesome to listen to. I think change is important to keeping things alive, Doctor Who being an obvious example it's been kept alive via changes (ignoring the newer ones). But that these changes are being forced on by RU-vid.

Really enjoyed that lightsaber retrospective. maybe something like that for sonic screwdrivers? in terms of your channel its a shit situation but do whats best for you! I'd say continue doing what does well and what you enjoy

For me watching your videos you where the first youruber I watched who did stuff related to doctor who I live In kentucky and at the time none of my friends or family or anyone I knew watched doctor who so I absolutely loved your content ❤️ and the fun specials , and all of the other toy review so thanks for all of it!!!!

What if, instead of the Top 10 videos for the end of the year, you produce a short 5-10 minute short? They could involve the toys you’ve reviewed, they could not, but it could be a short, comedic video centred around something from that year - I’m aware producing a short film is more time consuming than it sounds, so it’s just a suggestion but I think it could be fun and be that ‘end of year special’ in a new, exciting way. Also, shubaloo.

Been a subscriber for probably about 10 years now (and the fact it's been that long is probably making both of us feel old lol) I do still enjoy the toy reviews, but I do feel like I don't watch them as often as I used to. I'd say keep the concept around but maybe change it to documenting interesting new releases or re-releases. Even if you're not interested in grabbing them yourself there's probably someone who'd be interested in knowing what stuff is currently out, especially in the Doctor Who stuff. Maybe you could do mini toy reviews? Like 60 second toy reviews on RU-vid shorts, even re reviewing old ones to get the channel more spread around and beat the algorithm a little

I’ve not finished the video yet so you might address this, but maybe you could make The Drop Zone (and maybe Spoilerific Reviews) their own channels (with those as their names)? You could batch upload all of the existing episodes and then start posting new ones… edit: If you’re planning on moving away from toy reviews then maybe just create a The Drop Zone channel? edit2: especially for people like me who don’t watch The Drop Zone, it doesn’t bother me personally that you upload them on here but it might be a good idea, especially for the algorithm. edit3: sheebaloob edit4: also you maybe won’t even have to reupload them on a new channel, just create a playlist for them and add them as a section on the channel homepage? edit5: so you could maybe do the Battlebots toy reviews on The Drop Zone channel, and Spoilerific Reviews and Doctor Who toy reviews (and any other toy reviews) on here? just a thought.

I’ve been watching your videos since I was a kid and I’ve always loved the toy reviews, and I always got a great laugh out of them (e.g. sonic screwdriver kit review) and I’ve always looked forward to them. Now I’m 17 and that hasn’t changed, I absolutely love the spoilerific reviews. I’ve also noticed the decline in the quality of toys available these days, which is really sad, so I think you should just review products that you think are worth it, that you genuinely think is either good or bad. I found the channel through the sonic screwdriver reviews but I’m not just a doctor who fan I also love Batman Superman ghostbusters back to the future but it looks like RU-vid is trying to be multiple things at once trying to be instagram stories TikTok and a vlogging app and channels have suffered for it also with the major decrease in doctor who merchandise around season 10 especially here in America I can understand adding in merchandise from other fandoms u like

your videos are great fella. maybe try and get a better lighting and background setup for your live rambling videos. If you could refine the look for your spoilerific reviews with a couple if close up cams for you and Anthony that would be brilliant. The main thing is that you and Anthony have the X factor 😅 meaning your chemistry and content is excellent, honest and funny. That is something that sets you apart. You know you're good, you just need to refine it a little, look at the review of death, you are way funnier they have a nicely lit set, and it helps. overall I hope you take this as it was meant, constructive criticism, as I've watched your videos for years and years, and truly think you're top class. Don't doubt yourself, you're great.

As someone who only really watches the fighty robot stuff the only toy reviews I'd miss would be Hexbug stuff but you said you're keeping that anyway, not really helpful I know but you did ask for feedback. Also I agree with general angry sentiment towards the UK government.

your top 10's every year is how i found the channel a couple of years ago, i'm not sure what i'd do in your shoes tbh, one thing that bothers me atm is no new toys interest me, it seems the detail and effort is not there for most new toys (Yes character options too) , i'd struggle to find 10 i liked tbh, and hardly anywhere sells anything good, b&m, smyths, entertainer, asda (Sometimes) that's it really and it feels like it's been this way for ages. plus as soon as anything cool comes up it gets scalped to fuck.

Instead of having 15 reviews and then a top 10/bottom 5, you could just go straight to the top 10 where you get the 10 full reviews in 1 video. That way it makes the video longer, and puts less worry in forcing out smaller videos that may not do as well

if you want to do a once a year review thing.. you could make a "shotgun review" where you review like 10 in a video (that way it's a longer video for the algorithm) and rank them.. I'd watch that

Spoilerific Reviews is my RU-vid series of all time. At least once every 2 or 3 weeks I just binge watch every single one and each time I keep on laughing. Everything Doctor who related you do, I love it (also the newer discussion type videos like this I love as well where we get just you talking about whats new and what you like about it). Keep up the amazing work, I will watch any and every spoilerific review (whether be returning to old series, new episodes, classic who, torchwood, Sarah Jane adventure, fuck it I'll even accept class or Doctor who confidential) and any of your other Doctor who content. sheebaloob. It's crap that the youtube stuff is cocking up again. For me, the videos always appear in the subscription box so it baffles me that some people seem to get missed. I've enjoyed all the content. If dropping the toy reviews back a bit makes stuff easier money-wise I'd say go for it. In the current climate cutting costs is a must. I love your toy reviews and how honest you are in them but as I said I love all your content so prioritising Spoilerific reviews and Dropzone is perfectly fine.

I'm a collector myself, and youtube seems to actively hide toy reviews in general. but it's nothing new, been like this for years. I have to go out of my way to find reviewers and subscribe if I want that sort of content, when it's the main reason I use this site. I just don't see it recommended. I still want to buy action figures, but I feel there's nothing aimed at me nowadays. plus the prices went crazy. I have to pay 3x more now than in 2017, and get less for the money, with worse quality control. I don't blame anyone for giving up on this hobby, but the whole physical products thing is fading out. remember physical copies of videogames? your favorite movies on dvd? casettes? video tapes? the feeling of owning something dear to you? I don't want physical toys to be a thing of the past, and I think reviews raise some awareness that these things even exist. as someone who doesn't live in the UK, I found out about doctor who merchandise through your reviews. I remember going to ebay after watching some videos, since there was no other way to get toys here. just know your work is appreciated, (I still miss the cardboard background) but I'll accept your decision.

I hate how YT forces so many videos to be over 10 minutes, I am lucky and work from home so will often crank some videos before I start but the 15 to 20 minutes makes it an arse as I often finish a video and every video I want to watch next will overlap into my works start time by 10 or so minutes.

The toy reviews were what first brought me to your channel, BUT that was during the 2010 run of Who when there were a lot more toys and such that were worth reviewing. Now... not so much. I stick around for the Spoilerific Reviews, and will occasionally watch one of the toy reviews when it comes up if it's one I really like, and I think that's how you should go about it too. Don't review for the sake of reviewing. Review things that YOU want. I think people would enjoy seeing what you as an individual like and what you think of those things, rather than watching a toy review channel. I think that's perhaps the way to look at it. Your channel isn't about a function - it's not toy reviews or Doctor Who reviews or Battle Bot reviews. It's about you (and Anthony) and your personality and humour. That's why people are here.

Your toy reviews were what brought me to your channel. Quick, to the point, AMAZING camera work and the lighting was fun. But I have noticed that your channel has been more consistent with the robot wars/battle bots and doctor who spoileriffic reviews. So it makes sense to kinda move away from them. If you're looking for a replacement or something to make a countdown list at the end of the year, you could do a bit of a self-congratulatory thing of listing the top 10 and bottom 5 performing videos (by views). Or, you can pick you top 10 and bottom 5 moments from doctor who episodes you've made spoileriffic reviews of that year, and another for the robot wars videos?
