Simple.. when you're looking at the cylinder part, the pointer is pointing to the current hour. As it moves from one number to the next, the minutes are indicated by the marks between the numbers and are in increments of 10 minutes. So it's not a watch for precision it's more a watch of style.
I have the same one. My hands eem to be a little loose. If you set yours to 10 o'clock and put it in a vertical position (with the 10 at what would be the 12 o'clock position and the 1 at what would be the 6 o'clock position and then you tilt it side to side at about a 45 degree angle, does your hour pointer that is pointing to 10 o'clock rock back and forth a little or does it stay in place?
