Imagine being lucky enough, to link up with 2 hottest acts that ever existed in rap right in the primes(Em,50) and the best producer of all time and somehow letting your ego get in the way instead of making a bank with them. He had everything:50,Em,Dre,Timbaland,Scott G unit,how the f did he manage to destroy everything in a year is beyond my understanding

Bottom line I think game needs to understand that as long as you provide dope music you don’t have to do these kind of things for shock value or to have your name in the media. At the same time he’s past his prime. You’re only going to be that red hot artist one time. Just continue gracefully with your career.

It's funny to see how Game has an overall better discography and more features/shoutouts than 50 in the last decade + and yet 50 has more respect in the community. 50 came from a similar camp but he carries himself like a mogul who has grown from his rapping days, and game does the polar opposite. I don't want him to copy 50, but at least be on the wayne thing where you just chill and vibe when you feel like it.

Considering the Game rose to fame in 2005 and had a number ONE album all the way in 2016 shows some hell of consistency. Most rap artist have a 5 year run. Since 2005 he’s dropped banger after banger weather they went commercial or not does not value his talent as a rapper. He doesn’t have the publishing behind him anymore yet to still be getting well over a million views on the tube and hitting number 1 well over a decade and a half into his career all off his own back speaks for itself. Ye some things are true in this video no doubt. But this video could have been said with the same facts in a positive way and made the Game look like a legend.

Games the only rapper to fail and have 8 #1 albums on the rap/r&b charts. 3 #1 albums in the US. And 9 albums total to debut in the top 10.. The only other rappers on the West Coast to say they done similar is 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube & Kendrick. What a failure.

The Game certainly has an impact in the rap industry. There’s no denying that, but The Game foreshadowed his own growth and legacy. If he would have put half of the energy into his music than in the antics, I guarantee The Game would be more mainstream.

I love 50, but if we're being honest this dude had rap beefs with every artist in New York and spent his time locked in his house in Connecticut, so he can't really judge game there. That being said, game has had a longer rap career than 50, dude is still making albums (mid as they are) and he's always been his own brand. I don't think game sabotaged his career because it was always going to turn out this way, that's his personality, that's who he is. It's like saying Kanye sabotaged himself.

As teenager he was one of my favorite rappers. Documentary was lit, Doctor's advocate was very good, LAX was okey...ish. And one thing i always remember is him trying to beef with Jay Z and having bar " you are 38 and still rappin'" , he is 43 now and still as clueless... Most of thing he preached in old songs he didn't honor with his behavior or flat out did opposite later.

The Game didn't get the call for the Superbowl because he literally admitted that he says what he wants regardless of if it's inconsistent with things he'd said prior. Meaning that he can't be taken at his word, and he can't be trusted. This is the exact kind of approach to business that burnt his bridge with 50 Cent, Dre, Shady Aftermath, and G Unit all those years ago. Never mind that when Eminem was invited to perform on the Super Bowl, he said that he wouldn't do it without 50, and the beef that Game started with 50 Cent literally lead to The Game's manager Jimmy Henchman murdering Lodi Mack, an affiliate of G Unit. People close to 50 Cent literally died because of Game's unpredictable behavior, so no wonder he wasn't invited.

My father gave me the best definition of The Game. He said he’s called the game cuz he’s really good at that. In his head “the game” is rapping. He can rap like ANYONE and you can hear especially on feature tracks it’s almost like he reflects what’s around him at the moment. So when you said he has no Sense of self, i really think it rings true. His “game” was never his own. It’s was Tupac mixed with 50 cent and what’s popular yesterday.

The sad part is that Game is a super dope rapper. But his antics turn people away from him

The Game could/should be so much bigger and in much more conversations as a Top 10 artist. It's sad antics and pettiness have kept him from getting his flowers.

That fact he starts beef for no reason, says a couple disrespectful lines, gets confronted outside and he ain't about that life atm. Gets home to the comfort of his home and writes a new diss for his upcoming album or mixtape. That pretty sums the Game. I'm starting to believe what 50 said about the Game being bi polar is true, and he is always switching sides when it can be convenient for him. There's nothing worse than a spotlight diva. He's a really good mc, and would easy make top 50 rappers if he didn't do half the stupid antics he does. Name dropping, having his features outshine on his albums, clout chase, and lying so much in his interviews, that it completely changes the story. Then there's his associations, first it was Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, then he was using Lil Wayne, then back again with og Dr. Dre, then he was friends with Drake and name dropping him everywhere. Then it was Kanye West, Dr Dre did nothing for me in my career, Kanye did more for me. This doesn't include his Instagram antics either, those are ridiculously photoshop pics, awkward interactions with bots pretending to be his biggest fans, etc. There's a lot more that I wouldn't have the time to write everything down. The last album he put out the Documentary 2 which was nearly a decade ago, he hasn't done anything remotely noteworthy since then.

Lately I been thinking about the phase when he was dissin Jay-Z trying to bait him. Specifically, that line on It’s Okay (One Blood) back in ‘06 when he says “You 38 and you still rappin? UGHHH” Not a lot of foresight. Great metaphor for his career choices.

Listen, I wasn’t gonna watch this video because I don’t think there is a bigger GAME fan than I and I thought this would be another video unfairly criticizing and disrespecting Game. And I gotta admit I’m bias when it comes to him. He IS arguably THE MOST underrated MC of all time when it comes to bars, depth and lyrically homicide. If you don’t listen to him, you won’t understand. But I must admit as a lifelong fan of The Game, this video is journalistically accurate with the depiction of him, his career and ways. It hurts me to admit it, but I have said for years that The average fan will never recognize his Phenomenal rapping and music making talent because of EVERYTHING else that comes along with it that often over shadow. Game is my 2nd favorite MC of all time behind Nas and when I talk about my top five list, he is the ONLY one I have to give an explanation why for. Thr Documentary was one of the most played and idolized albums when it came to rap..... but the Doctors Advocate really showed his lyrical prowess. Unfortunately, he let his ego and his hot-headedness get the best of him. He will be known as one of the ones who should be top10 of all time, but never made it there due to his own self-demise

Game gets no respect because he is consistently biting the hand that feeds. 50 wrote every big hit Game performed on his classic album, nobody remembers any of his other albums and all the other tracks are footnotes mostly. So once Game got what he wanted out of the deal he turns and starts beef for no reason other than pure jealousy. He runs his mouth on things he shouldn't even speak on in ways he shouldn't. The difference between him and 50 is easy to see. If 50 is asked an opinion about someone, even about Game, he answers more often than not in a respectful way...except Jah Rule but even then he laughs and pokes fun rather than taking hard shots for no reason. Game is a child in a mans body. That first album is certified no doubt but as a person....

This guy likes to bite the hand that feeds him. To us New Yorkers we were really rocking with The Game. Then we looked at him like he was ungrateful during the 50 cent beef. We may be bias, but we were chosing 50 cent regardless.

Everybody seems to be more caught up with his personality instead of focusing on what actually matters which is the music. The Game factually has a way better music discography than 50 Cent and it makes me laugh how people actually think 50 carried the Game and wrote all of his hits even though you can listen to any album after the Documentary and the Game still has a lot of hard tracks without 50s help.

When rap beefs become obsessive it really takes away from the character imo. True in Game's case, but it also highlights how much of an emotional cat he is. Which is fine for men to be emotional and all, but when it comes to his line of work, and the image he projects, it's obviously not a good look. At least to me, and that's kind of what made me stop fcking with him when I was younger. Which is a shame because he had the biggest push when he launched his mainstream career.
