I realised watching this that Joe forms great opinions when he gives himself time to think and pay attention. When reacting like this he talks utter bollocks due to not paying attention, talking over information and making huge assumptions based on nothing.

Other Joe and Alex are often voices of reason or when Joe goes off on an angry emotional rant and says shit that's blatantly not true, Alex will often correct him or other Joe will offer some kindness. These 2 neckbeards just agree with everything Joe says and constantly make shity jokes or talk over things to try and get some clout with the community. Man the AW2 / Herald of darkness reaction here is just embarrassing. Reactions overall as well, Joe missing so many things because he won't shut up for a single second. Been following this channel for years and this is the weakest it's ever been. Get Alex and OJ back, seems at least one of them needs to be around to keep things in check. These other two aren't even a decent example of what you'd get if you ordered Alex and OJ on Wish.

Ive said in on other videos but the yearly madden reviews and angry rants are easy engagement for Joe. He will keep playing madden every year regardless of how bad it is as its easy money from views for him.
He played FF for a few streams maybe about 8- 10 hours. It was clear he and the others were not enjoying it. They kept on for a while but stopped because they would end up bashing it constantly. They played Alan Wake for a good few hours. He like some parts, but wasn’t wowed with it. He stopped because of scheduling and said he might go back to it at some point in his own time to give it another chance. If he doesn’t like a game that’s fine. He doesn’t need to keep forcing himself to play it. He would still shit on it and you would all be just as mad.
This is a hard video. The other two are super cringe and lack any charisma. There were also many errors made in the commentary because everyone keeps talking over everything.
The alan wake reaction was crazy too cus the song would seem like something AJ would be into considering his taste in music. I feel as though the genre would be something up his alley
Even if it were in the same genre, I dont necesarily think he wants to sit down and blast this on his earphones yet alone see a musical of it during the gaming awards show. Its Honestly amazing that AJ didnt do a proper review of Alan Wake 2. Baldurs Gate 3 is incredible and deserving of all the recognition, praise, and awards it has won, but to say that Alan Wake 2 winning best Narrative was a sympathy award is ridiculous. Alan Wake 2 is one of the best experiences ive ever had as a gamer. The creativity, the story, the style, and so much more fueled one of the best sequels to a game I have ever played and its a real shame that it didnt sell better than it did. The entire team at Remedy and all the actors deserve to be praised for what they did and don't need a "sympathy" award for the true art that they created. I strongly recommend everyone to play this game all the way through even if you haven't played the first game.
I'll say the same thing here I said in the original upload. I've been a fan of AngryJoe for many, many years. Even when his opinions were different from mine, I always enjoyed hearing his takes. He was passionate, critical, and honest. This reaction is a sad moment. It's the first time I've actively disliked a video of his. He showed nothing but contempt and ignorance towards things, even what he's never played or experienced. Calling EVERYTHING a "sympathy" award was frankly embarrassing. Alan Wake 2 had a fantastic narrative and deserved an award, Final Fantasy 16 had an amazing musical score and deserved an award. If he had played them and disagreed, that would be one thing, but he didn't. To disrespect someone like Sam Lake, talking over speeches, and eye-rolling at everything new is something I can't get on board with. Joe honestly doesn't even seem like a gamer in this video.
Yeah, I agree. Furthermore, this years TGA winners were the ones I mostly agreed for the most part first time in many years and I felt that the awards /this time/ were not supporting massive corporations or trends. First time I felt that these winners actually deserved to win.

I'm a gamer. Alan Wake has never interested me. I think the songs sucks and I don't care if there's a reference to a musical number in Alan Wake 2. Is Angry Joe Show pretending to be gaming journalism? To my knowledge they just talk about the stuff they find interesting and want to talk about. It's not because one's a gamer that one has to play all the games and think all of them are good or interesting. It is baffling to me that you can pretend the song is objectively a "banger" and that you think everyone has to like what you like. When Microsoft bought them, the devs at Arkane Austin were quietly hoping Microsoft would choose to cancel the project. Obviously, that didn't happen. Arkane Austin did degelop the Prey reboot, so we know they can make a banger of a game if allowed to work on something they're actually passionate about.
BROTHERS is a dual analog game where both characters are controlled on a single controller. It's such a great game and I'm glad it got a remake. One of my favorites games and well worth the cost of admission. Even more with the current remaster it's worth playing.
But yeah, there are puzzles and you need to be a little ambidextrous. There are times where the character on the left side of the screen is the right analog stick and vice versa but they will make you have them go across the screen back and forth. They clearly knew what they were doing with this aspect of the game.
I have replayed this game multiple times and it still made me cry every time even knowing in advance what happens. I'm sure the same will happen with the remake.

True, but sequel announcements can spark exictement with very little. Take the Golden Idol one for example, it's a point and click adventure, no exciting gameplay to fill a trailer with but one of the best puzzlers in years. People that know the first will be super excited by a trailer like this and there is no way to win new people over with a fancy trailer for a pixel art adventure game. Word of mouth and curators will do that (similar to Pony Island).
Feels sad to hear a main final fantasy game described as “with RPG elements”. God of War is more of an RPG and that’s bizarre to realise. Hope they bring back some of the RPG series identity in 17.

Ready or Not is a SWAT spiritual successor, first person tactical coop game. I honestly think it's LEAGUES above SWAT, I'm surprised you never played it. It was in early access for about a year and a half and it was getting great updates and great reviews. You should play it with OJ and Alex, I'm sure you'll love it if you're into tactical shooters. (not rainbow six siege, you have to be way more methodical in your movement)
swat 4's serial killer house mission was one of the best missions i have ever played, it was so unsettling and scary. Thats the only mission that keeps swat 4 above ready or not for me

Joe disliking remedy and not reviewing AW2 made me think of him and his reviews in an entirely different way. Alan Wake 2 is a masterpiece. So much love was put into that game. Remedy's interconnected universe has become my favourite. Looking forward to seeing how the AW2 DLCs and eventually Control 2 expands this mysterious world even more.
I know you guys are "out" when it comes to Monster Hunter.. but 23million people bought MH:World.. and it it got mostly 9+ reviews. So you guys might not be excited for it but the crowd was happy and so were the fans.

It'll be like the communities Game of the Year. It'll be interesting to see the results and how far each game could make it.

Herald Of Darkness from Alan Wake II was one of the best moments of the awards. It's okay to not be into musicals (I'm not really into them either), but y'all went a little fragile masculinity there, having to talk about the Rockettes and needing some women up there. 🫣😂 This was truly a labor of love by Sam Lake, which is why he was so happy and proud to be on stage.

Exactly, currently playing p3R and omg the game is incredible the amount of content and quality of life improvement worth all the 70$ and the game looks incredible, I spent almost 80 hours into the game and I still can't believe it's real I haven't finished it yet, I am going into the game semi blind I know some stuff from the original but I forgot most of the story. But yeah this is diffently one of the best remakes
