man ive been wishing they came out with a new viewtiful jow game for ever now, especialing adding a co-op feature that the red hot rumble alpha build had
i want Capcom to bring back some of there old ideas for Mega Man Games that they scrapped like the Dark FPS Remake of Mega Man X 1 and to bring back Mega Man Star Force
Darkstalkers needs to be a collaboration between Capcom and Arc System Works! ASW's visuals will be PERFECT for a Darkstalkers... hell, even for Plasma Sword! The flawless anime aesthetic works for those games.
I'm still so bummed that we only ever got a remaster for Onimusha 1 - I know 3 is _highly_ unlikely, but what about 2 and 4? I never played that series back in the day for whatever reason, so the remaster was my first time experiencing it and holy shit is it a blast. Oh and what I wouldn't give for a new Dino Crisis in the vein of the first one. Capcom has such an incredible suite of franchises that they almost can't go wrong, really.
@Pandorax Corner capcom are releasing capcom fighting collection 2 featuring Project Justice aka rival schools 2, plasma sword 2, street fighter alpha 3 upper, fighting jam, capcom vs snk pro and capcom vs snk 2. So you got some of what you hoped for copium wise.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is actually gonna be the first time im buying a brand new capcom release day 1 since street fighter x tekken. Didn’t buy any of the previous capcom fighting collections because they didn’t put the versions i wanted. The PS2 Darkstalkers collection is the best version and have dee as playable character. Didn’t want to play Alpha 2 & 3 because those are the COS2 versions and not Aloha 2 Gold (the version with cammy) or Alpha 3 Max (the definitive version of the game). Super Puzzle Fighter feel bad in the CPS2 version (rather play any version especially psp/dc versions or hd remix because they play much better). And to be honest i didn’t want cps1, 2 & 3 games because they are too common. The Marvel Vs. Capcom Collection is a good start especially MvC2 is really needed to re-release but Fighting Collection 2 is actually the first time i actually screamed from happiness and excitement. Yeah unpopular opinion of mine is that they still lazy with using arcade versions especially power stone 1 & 2 while the psp version have more characters (power stone 2 characters in 1 and the opposite) or alpha 3 again! (Upper is better than the cps2 original but it’s to little to late and still not the psp max version) but seeing games like capcom vs snk pro (was japan only on the dreamcast and we got the ps1 version but it’s snes alpha 2 bad levels) and freaking project justice!!!!! Just because project justice im buying it day 1!
Street fighter the movie remastered/remake console and arcade version , Dino crisis, Lost planet, Killer 7 remaster and remake, and Goof troop remastered and Ducktales remastered 2.
While I don’t agree with Asura’s Wrath (mostly because the story is finished already) I do think the other Capcom franchises in this video deserve a second chance from Capcom.
Honestly there are so many games that Capcom can bring back that doesn’t even have to be in the same genre. Cyberbots and Star Gladiator can come back as character action games. Rival Schools is practically an open world map away from being a Bully game. And even Red Earth can come back as a rogue-like or RPG action game. These are games that can come back as games that are more palatable to general audiences while also expanding their reach across new audiences.
If you want to know why Mega Man Legends 3 got canceled, then I have a video recommendation for you or anyone else interested in it, Matt McMuscles’s video titled Wha Happun Mega Man Legends 3. It’s a bit painful to watch though.
the more i think about it, the more true it is that capcom is more important for gaming than nintendo. The "gaming crash" only happened for consoles and arcades were floating along just fine throughout the 80s. Capcom created or made great iterations on game genres that solidified themselves in gaming and are still learned from today. action platformers fighting games beat 'em ups Suspense survival horror All genres they either created or improved upon/made mainstream.
Capcom won't do Rival Schools or Darkstalkers because they know the real gamers & Fgc will call them out on their Dei,Esg trash, and cheap character & face models.I gurantee if someone made a polar opposite of these games Capcom would get Jealous. These games aren't unalived.if they are then why doesn't Capcom just sell Darkstalkers and Rival Schools to someone else ?because they know it can make Money just not the unrealistic amount that they want.
The problem with all these games u mentioned is none of them were box office killers at all yes the first year saw sales but after that failed to stay atop so thays why crapcom wasnt keen to make sequels they already got burned the first time only to get bitten again to me i don't miss any of these rubbish franchises at all far as im concerned leave them dead and make better games because even in 2024 i still dont like anything capcom i dont like the copy cat shert capcom camt make a game without stealing from other IPS they don't own i see somany IPS within capcoms so called original games yet i saw clearly crapcom has stolen ideas from mostly snk but other games have been copied 100% this why i cant like capcom games at all i never see originality its stolen from others ips i hate capcom 100%
Yeah, but modern Woke censorship Capcom is getting me worried. It's getting worse and they butchered Dead Rising remaster to no end. New fighting collections also mention dozens of "changes" that hasn't been revealed yet.
MegaMan legends is shert I never liked any MegaMan games except the GBA used to be exclusives the rest can die including the shertty ones on paystation and Xbox
