G’day Gut Gang! I hope you enjoyed this video! Lmk if you have any questions in the comments below. BTW I’ve recently tried reintroducing more vegetables and other things 😳 Got a video coming on that soon. Cheers to your health!
I love your video! Thanks for the detailed and accurate summary of Dr. Natasha's book! This is a great reference for people who want a reminder of what they read or who want to know what the book says.
As a celiac and being keto for the last 6 months I think I’ve discovered that all grains have an inflammatory effect on me… don’t think I’ll ever go back to eating them even in a Weston price fermented way. I truly feel best on a very animal heavy diet. Thanks for the info!
A lot of people are finding this! I find the same… literally any grain would make some of my symptoms worse 😳 I’m glad to have them out of my life for the next 2 years lol. Good luck on your journey!
Way too many kids have autism, ADHD, allergies, or other issues. Our food supply has gotten worse and worse. I had several health issues until I started eating better. Now I'm trying to grow all of my own food.
Hi Rory thank you for sharing....I have one question...How do we know that we completely cured i.e our gut flora has restored perfectly? Is there any testing to assess our gut flora?
Unreal, let’s go dude! So stoked for you. Unfortunately doctors and most people don’t know that you can heal with food. Hopefully more people catch onto it! Keep going 🔥
@@tehextra3907 fatty ground beef/ steaks lambs seasoned only with Redmonds salt and drinking only water making sure I drink when I'm thirsty(hydration is key) literally you couldn't see the tattoo on my arm I have all the meds still unopened on my desk as a reminder. We don't realize how many random things we're putting into our stomachs on a daily basis so eliminating helps not only by giving the gut a break and time to heal but you can then identify the triggers. make sure you moisturize after every shower to lock in that moisture. This works for me and it's worth a try but everybody is different. Stay strong I know how stressful it is. You aren't alone.
The histamine intolerance community agrees with this. They fully say to cut out fermented foods if you find they are messing with you, and they also have recommendations for probiotics etc and things to flush histamines quicker.
I cured my Barrett’s decease with gaps after only one year I did it, it’s real and it works, I made my own kefir, sourkrout, lots of chicken and beef stock and today when I’m cured I still make my meats stock and continue eating stock and ferment homemade, it’s a delicious food and the most nutritious and dense foods
Dr Davis’ recipe is a Super Easy and delicious yogurt recipe to make, but it’s made with ultra pasteurized 1/2 and 1/2. Making the same recipe with raw goat milk is more in line with GAPS is much more liquid, more of a whey drink than a thick yogurt. Both are better than unfermented dairy products. 😊
So at 6:30 are you saying you get more collagen, condensed, when the bone broth is boiled for less time? Say 5 hours versus 10 hours? Can you help me understand why? Thanks 🙏
You definitely need the books to truly understand the GAPS Diet in my opinion and experience! I don't make any money off sharing them but Dr Natasha definitely deserves what she makes off them for the life changing info she shares.
Is it good to do 1 week or 3 days fasts once a month plus gaps plus fruit juice fasting to heal damaged gut. I noticed when I eat capsicum I have small red rashes on skin or more spicy food I get rashes
Im alergic to carrots and many other plants. Can't do carrot juice im afraid. Eggs white bothers my stomach somehow. I do best on one meal a day only and that meal being some fatty meat. Im going to try gaps to see if i can cure my allergy and start carrot juice because apparantly it is great for detox.
im only eating meat stock with allowed veggies and mince with here and there a bit kefir or sauerkraut 3 to 4 time a day big portions and I feel like a pancake and very weak... I dont know what im doing wrong. I also dont know how you get enough calories in haha im shaking sometimes bcs I m not eating enough calories
It's said to be usual to feel worse initially on intro due to die off, doesn't mean you're could sth wrong. If you're worried about calories, there are no limits on animal fat you can have, if tolerated. Have you read the official book? Good luck for your healing
Hey man! If you are able to I would book in with a practitioner I linked some in the description. Very helpful to identify what you need from a professional… I can’t really diagnose or anything like that… the best meat on gaps is meat on the bone - get really fatty lamb shanks and eat those + the broth. You’ll have to up the calories and the amount of food you’re eating through the fat. How long you been into it?
i feel your pain! yep i'm learning about this more - but candida is usually a symptom of something else. in my case it's heavy metals in my system plus my gut flora is out. i'll do a bit more research on it this week and get back to you - I'll try make a video about it in about 1-2 weeks time... but all the info is in the GAPS books
@@RoryBland :( i think its cuz my gut is fkin wrecked yeah… i cant eat anything but meat without issues. I had a small piece of toast and some hot chocolate yesterday and today i feel like my body is in panic mode i cant relax and i have extreme anxiety…. Ugh
@@RoryBland i watch your interview with another you tube channel regarding carnivore .how long do stay carnivore ?on your channel you are eating vegetables again .
I literally think that everything gives me headache and dizziness.... Even i m afraid of meat... From where i should start dear??how much meat is enough for satiation in the intro phase?
I would get the book or read 'gaps stage by stage' i think it is by becky plotner. Just eat til you're full. You'll figure out what that looks like after a few weeks! For me it can be 250g or 600g of meat in a go :)
I would speak to a practitioner for proper support around it - wellbellyhealth.com.au are highly recommended! Otherwise I would start on the intro gaps, or start with full gaps then work through intro. Best wishes for your family!
Im thinking of buying a pressurecooker bc i have ME/cfs and are very limited in energy. I've heard different opinions about this type of machine. Some say it destroys the nutrients, some say it help more nutritiens stay in the food. Anybody tried and knows??❤
