A quick day 1 commentary guide on getting a 1 cycle at the newest skilling boss. Focuses more on fundamentals than raw speed (but is still pretty speedy). Enjoy!

Worth noting that you can dive behind the shield for the first begone attack to make it hit only 18% of your HP instead of 60%. Might be worth it and eliminate the need for barricade on the second one.

You can, yeah. The main issue is just that it's slower. But if you don't want to tank too much damage, you can do that.

repairing the barrier at the start can be done with no time loss, it's just slower bc you take time away from mining the rocks to hide

@@EvilLucario I think a few seconds is worth it to allow better sustainability, especially as they are nerfing the ability to use the extra action button as a pause without climbing the pillars and dealing damage

On the first spec you can barricade on the same tick of the spec hitting (greater bone shield only) to avoid the damage and the auto attack damage after, not sure if it's better to use it there or on the second begone though (I do low 3 min 2 cycle runs so i get to dodge almost every mechanic)

Figured out my problem. Even if you are under cade. still dodge teh attacks. they will still heal the boss slightly

the explosions are only 1x1 area you dont need to move two tiles to dodge it.

What was the kill time? Can avoid using overloads by doing dba spec at wars Also consider the rapid renewal prayer for a mild amount of healing

You can do low/mid 3 min kills with next to no unlocks. Truly all you need is double surge, everything else just speeds it up. I bring 2 sharks and 2 brews and just chug until my str level is in the 50s but I'm still hitting decent times.

For some reason after mining all of the ore and dumping it on the boss, the boss still has 7k hp everytime.

im getting 2:40 kiils with a bunyip, excal and 1 food. no need for tags, aura or scrimshaw. effectively a resourceless kill. 2 jump cycles
