The fuel requirement is meant to satisfy all conditions from extreme cold to extreme heat, pressure, humidity etc.. 87 runs 100% fine but 91 will cover the aforementioned extreme environments. The 3.3T is very lightly tuned, which is why it can run 87. Wonderful car -- I'm on my 2nd.
Good video! I think you've got your trim names a little mixed up in your commentary - - the trim hierarchy in Canada for the 2.5T is "Advanced" (base) then "Prestige" (fully equipped), for the 3.3T "Advanced" then "Sport" (fully equipped). - in the US they have also two 2.5T trim trims (Standard, Sport Prestige) and two 3.3T (Sport Advanced, Sport Prestige) with AWD as an option. I believe your tester is a 2.5T Prestige - so it has all available features for the 2.5T, but some features are reserved for the 3.3T Sport (such as HUD, different gauge cluster, adjustable suspension, LSD, valved exhaust, suede headliner, different quilting pattern on more adjustable seats, and other). Having owned my 3.3T Sport for ~9 months now, I find the audio from the Lexicon system "inconsistent" - it's really lacking in mid-bass, which makes quite a bit of music sound lifeless but other pieces sound fine. Additionally, it seems to require a high volume level for the sound to balance out, below that it's lacking in all lower end.
Curious, do you remember where in the video I had the trim levels crossed? I'm usually pretty good with referencing the right trims. Unfortunate about the audio system in your Sport. Have you adjusted the sound settings, specifically treble and bass?
Hey Steve How Are You When Are You Reviewing The 2025 Kia Soul EX And 2024 Kia Sorento X Pro And 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Z71 And 2025 Subaru Forester Touring 2024 Kia Sportage X-Line
Good thanks, how about yourself? Big list there! I'm in a Sorento in a few weeks, Sportage in October and Soul late this year. I haven't connected with Subaru yet and GM doesn't have the Traverse on their fleet yet but those are on the list
I do love this car, almost bought one but decided against it. Unfortunately i want it to be reliable but just isnt. 95% of people report brutal rattling throughout interior especially on hot days, engine had a recall where turbos leak and may cause enhine fires, chrome goes cloudy and needs replacement, electronics and very glitchy after a bit and arent covered under warranty, leather seat durability is very poor. On top of that, i also really hate how they use hyundai interior parts in a car that costs 3x as much. I dont want to see kona or sonata dials/sat navs in my 60k$ car.
Little hyperbolic saying 95% ;) I've seen a few forum posts about it and there are next to no NHTSA complaints for the car in general for the last 5 years. The recall from the turbo leak was 2022 and prior as well. Yeah they use similar parts but so do most brands where they have a luxury offshoot...
I've had my 2023 3.3T AWD Sport (Prestige) for about 9 months and 6K kms so far, and no issues so far (knock on wood). I think most cars have some issues now, and there are some with the G70 (headlight moisture, chrome trim discoloration) that are concerning; but what's more concerning is the (reported) unresponsiveness from Genesis. What built Lexus's reputation is not just good durable cars, but they way they treated you and looked after anything and everything to ensure complete satisfaction. When the transmission on my 2001 IS300 started acting up, they immediately shipped a new transmission from Japan, replaced mine, and sent it back to Japan for analysis. When the Bridgestone summer tires had some cosmetic sidewall bubbling, they sent a set of brand-new summer tires out with the option of burning your old ones off before (completely free) replacement. Any time my Lexus went into the shop for service, I had a complimentary Lexus loaner (back then they even covered the gas). Genesis needs to build THAT reputation to stand out - they already have excellent cars with excellent warranties, they just need to ensure that there is never the slightest hassle claiming under it, and a sufficient fleet of Genesis loaners that you never have to delay service or repairs due to loaner availability.
Stop trolling ....You're on many G70 reviews (copy/paste).As a owner, none of what you're saying is true.... NO recalls, NO leaks, electronics is covered under warranty. Nappa leather seats are tops. GO AWAY CLOWN 🤡
You AGAIN ???? WRONG on ALL points, trolly !! I've had the car for a year now.... and guess what, Bozzo !!! No problemas ...... btw, electronics has a 2 year warranty.... Go TROLL elsewhere.... This guy copies and pastes this shit on ALL G70s videos.... He's a clown... an envious one as well ....
