Sweet futuristic Genesis Neolun vehicle. Also I am noticing that these tires are now in gun-metal like electrical alloy wheels like it's just incredible.
That's the same platform that will be introduced next year I believe. Ive read that platform will offer 50% better driving range compared to E-GMP cars.
Yeah, Genesis is gonna be bigger than Lexus; I can feel it. And OMG they better bring that Purple Cashmere to production! That is the most gorgeous color I've ever seen in a car, aside from British Racing Green
Genesis is killing it here in the US! Don't take this the wrong way, but you speak so quickly it seems like the entire review is one sentence. Slow down man!
I don't think thos is the concept version of the GV90 because there are already spyshots of the flagship SUV on spyshots and its greenhouse looks nothing like that. This Neolun is more a design study to try something for the future
I do not like the front-end and the logo should go on the grill, not the hood. Great to have the flush look but no rear wiper will be an issue. I hope that's not in the production vehicle. The seat look great -- for a lounge -- but not very practical for a car.
@@cocoaiscool2709 nobody buys a luxury car for reliability. Why haven’t bmw Mercedes etc haven’t gone out of business? Because reliability doesn’t matter Besides genesis don’t catch fire. You’re just stuck in the past. Plus now Toyota and Lexus have transmission problems in the sequoia tundra LX and the latter is made in japan
@@naveenthemachineboth BMW and Mercedes have decent reliability compared to other German brands. Only exception is when you go for their amg performance models. They just aren't as reliable as Lexus, which is why people go to them. If people didn't (or shouldn't) care about reliability (and value), *Lexus* would be out of business. Yet they top the sales charts in the luxury car segment. Why is this? As for this vehicle, Genesis has a lot to prove at this point. Still nothing as luxurious or fast as anything from Germany, nor ride as good or last as long as anything from Japan. All they have is their nice interior and slightly lower price. This vehicle especially, will need more than that in order to compete with luxury tanks like the LX and G wagon *OR* luxury models like the X7, GLS, Escalade, or the new qx80.
Looks very cool to me. I think it would be better if they came out with something in a similar shape that is more the size of a compact SUV. The GV 60 is very cool but a bit small and the other Genesis EV’s are based on ICE vehicles and don’t have this cool boxy form.
Wow tremendous design. They basically refined the Mercedes EV designs and fused it with where Land Rover has been heading, this embryonic womb. Well done!
The Mercedes and Land Rover envy is strong here, which is disappointing. Genesis can stand on it's own and this isn't needed. The concept is good looking, but looks overdone at the same time. This is one case where toning it down for production will be a good thing.
This is a seriously good looking car. It manages to look very modern and very upmarket without resorting to the chintzy borderline tackiness of Mercedes and Maybach. I really hope the production model manages to look close to this concept.
The GV80 has far better stance, and there's a sense of movement to it, even when standing still. This, while smooth, doesn't and to me it thus looks far less interesting, more truck like. The retractable roof rails, a great idea. Losing the camera mirrors will make this look even blander than it already does.
I guess it looks ok as NPC SUV's go, but we have more than enough of these atrocities on the roads. Genesis really needs a coupe. At least a G70 coupe or do what Mercedes did by combining the C and E.
A copy & better executed than then Maybach equivalent. The Mercedes Maybach copied 24” wheels are insane, but they need to come up with their own design. Come on! What does this weigh? 7000-8000 lbs?
This is the first misstep for me, owned a G70 and currently driving GV70. Interior looks cool but the outside just looks terrible IMO. GV80 Coupe please! And get the distance up to 500KM + please.
3:55 Now that’s how you finesse tech bro enthusiasts. Ever the consummate professionals. 🤌🏾 I can see Nick Fury in this Genesis segment. The interior is definitely giving distinguished Wakandan diplomat. #BlackPanther
