No. It depends on your point of view. For example from my own experience I say tell you that for Polish people "th" in "think" and "f" in "feel" is the same sound. But for both linguistists and English native speakers these are different sounds. Same with Georgian k and k', p and p', and so on.

There’s a bit of a joke here as that “mama” is also Russian for “mum.” A Georgian father and Russian mother are sitting together. Their child yells “mama” and both parents respond. 😂

Indeed at first glance it looks like any South/South East Asian script including my native script Sinhalese from which the Among Us symbol comes.

ბ is the B in Boy პ is similar to the P in Pizza (but it's a little "sharper") დ is the D in Dog ტ is similar to the T in Tea (but it's a little "sharper") ძ is the DS in Kids წ is similar to the zz in Pizza (but it's a little "sharper") გ is the G in Good ჭ is similar to the ch in Chart (but it's a little "sharper") ჯ is the J in Jewelry For the "sharper" letters, it is somewhat similar to pronouncing them more forcefully.

@@skyscratcher4264 It's important to note that the capital versions are directly derived from the lowercase, as opposed to latin characters often being completely different

@@skyscratcher4264 Yes, it is true, you can find keyboards on the mobile apps or on the internet with "Georgian capital letters", because many years ago there was idea to officially add them in the alphabet but the idea was rejected later, so we Georgians do not use capital and lowercase letters, there is no such a thing in Georgian.

the term "French R" is utterly stupid as R in French has such a large variety of realizations (χ ʁ ʀ̥ ʀ), with very little standardization. I live in Belgium and here basically every R is realized as χ/ʀ̥ (kh), which would sound disonnant to most French speakers. However I do agree using the gh transcription, and then proceeding to pronounce kh is rather clumsy
