Yeah thats true but it can be the difference between a poorly placed shot penning you or not. I've failed to pen strv 122s in the past because of that very same armor package.
@magnagermania9311 It gets kinda boring playing the same vehicle for years without any change I hope we get new gamemodes and bigger maps for top tier so we won't have knife fight maps all the time. It is really satisfying sniping, fcs implanted in war thunder would be cool too
as panzerpaw said, the 2pso has an extended ass because of the use of molotov cocktails, in the areas it was meant to operate the exhaust and radiator and stuff are back at the bottom instead of up top so it couldnt hit the engine

Its so weird.. gaijin always adds leopards that arent finished.. they wanted too add details to the 2a4.. THEY NEVER DID IT.. they wanted to add the real life thermals to the leopards.. THEY NEVER DID IT.. the wanted too add the real extra armor packages to the leopards (new variants)... THEY NEVER DID IT.. hell yeah.. t series gets their armor package and the germans got their Tanks without the armor package.. but nice video justin :D
Funny thing is the BVM and B3 UBH have some incorrect ERA placements iirc the ERA on the rear and the bags are actually 4S24 which shouldn't be good against kinetic rounds.

@@agentusm7871The leopard 2a7+ is basically a pso version of the 2a7. The 2a7v would be cooler, depending on if the 2a7+ also has that newer ufp armor of the 2a7v.
Thats the thing, the pso doesnt have the upgraded ufp. The pso was designed for urban warfare, hence the .50 cal and the armor is supposed to counter atgm's, it didnt get the upgraded ufp yet. They shouldve just made it as a researchable modification for the leopard 2a5. The leopard 2a6m is the first tank that got the upgraded ufp, with around 700mm of protection against kinetic munitions, that wouldve been a better addition even though it doesnt look as fancy as the pso.
@Optimusprime56241 I hate to break it to you...sadly it does. Germany irl did alot of stinging on their tanks until recently with the V upgrade to the leopard 2a7.

Using stock heat fs in higher br's right now is a huge nightmare. Tanks impenetrable even from the side meaning grinding parts will be very difficult without a dart unlocked
I feel u dude. Grinding the Type 90 and the apfsds is a tier 3 mod. I lost my sanity. Especially since I face Russia 90% and the Era that stops chemical rounds 100% of the time
I feel a proper name for this update would be bad financial decisions, Justin here with the PSO, me with the F-16C, the aim-9m is a brilliant missile and having the aim7m as assurance feels heavenly on a lightweight fighters such as an f-16
I love when a tank has a bulldozer shovel/blade makes it look better (most times) and it's also useful for hiding your lower weak spots with dirt and i guess sand too and it's fun

It is the most useless addition in this patch. It is a 2A5 sidegrade that is heavier but has 50 cal. Added chemical protection only works against people who are playing stock. It does nothing against ATGMs or Helicopters at 11.7; Almost all top tier ATGMs are tandem. It also does nothing against dumb rocket spam, sure you can tank a few more rockets but these are added ERA blocks meaning they are single use and against 20+ rockets at minimum they just increase your chances of survival only marginally. On top of all that this tank that is objectively worse than 2A6 is added after the 2A6 to make people grind the full ~500k RP cost
not all top tier atgm are tandem, bradley's & wisel tow 2 aren't, italy & sweden doesn't have any as their hellfire is the 114B and not the 114K which is the tandem one
NERA doesnt care if a ATGM is tandem or not. The second warhead only helps against ERA which the PSO doesnt use. So its actually helpfull against ALL chemical ammunitions.
I finally unlocked the F16A ADF and was saving the SL to purchase it but Gaijin folders it behind the F16A and now I'm not allowed to buy the ADF until I get the F-16A. And Gaijin said that they told everyone that this would happen when no they didn't nowhere did it give ne a warning saying to buy the ADF before it gets blocked. I hate Gaijin so much now.

Wish we could have gotten at least better gunner thermals, and I don't give a chump if it didn't or did have gen2/3 gunner thermals. If people are going to be so nitpicky about that, let's have a talk about the T-80 UFP LOS thickness and even the Yak-141 or the other gazillion bs "balancing" features gaijin puts in the game. Gen 1 thermals in 2023 for a brand new end of the line TT MBT is just disgusting.
Actually the PSO won't protect you tho. Most heli's ATGM attack your tank's roof (where there isn't any amor at all) or the ATGM is tandem charge, which completely ignores your amor. The only thing that the PSO is good at is stopping BMP-2's autocannon and stock HEAT-FS, that's it.
I was thinking the same thing on how the game looks now, it seems they like turned the saturation down or something where its not as vibrant or something of such..
IMO for MBT :They should already give america the sepv2, germany the 2a7, russia the t90m, GB the chally 3, japan the prototype type90, china the ztz99-I and ztz96b, italy the spanish leopardo 2e and the ariete amv2, france nothing xd, sweden the new version of the strv122 i cant remember and israel, well, the newer magachs, the turkis modernised m60 and the mekrava variants left for others than the mk4
So far, my fav bug is when I spawn in, for some reason I have only 1 round…in spite of having 15 selected before I clicked spawning in. And I am being sarcastic when I say “favourite bug”. I have sworn at the snail all day because of it. Stock grind when you have only 1 round is not fun.

Yeah a heavier, more sluggish(2a5 have 25.4hp/t, pso have 24.3hp/t), and less armored(frontally) 2a5 is not a META maker, hell its not even deserve being in the end of thell line tank, it souldbe foldered with 2a5 and keep 2a6 as germany end of the line mbt
Its not less armored than the 2a5, but the added armor only defeats chemical rounds, in real life its great for urban warfare but in warthunder thats just added weight.
@@magnagermania9311no the ufp is less armored, 2a5 have 420-440mm of armor, pso have 410-420mm of armor cause 2a5/6 have extra track in front of it while pso don't
@lenoxD every source I've ever read states the 2pso used gen 1 thermals. And considering the 2a6 and the 2a5, the tanks it was based and combined with also both had gen 1 at the time in Germany....it's safe to say this is correct. If you can find me a reliable source that says the 2pso had gen 3 I'd be more than happy to read it.
Aside the new stuff and yada yada, it's only for me or the secondary guns like coax or external .50s will not fire after you get some damage (no dead crewmen)? It happened at least 3 times on my Merkava Mk4B where my mgs were damaged by rockets or even atmgs, i repaired them and then no one were able to fire (neither the 7.62mm coax)... I hope it's just another annoying bug and nothing to do with the destroyable decorations and such, because helis were already annoying to deal with but with neither a coax it's really pissing me off...
the update is polished, except for the Gepards and similar vehicels having only 40/40 rounds instead of 600/40... don't know how the f-ed that up by fixing the radar, but spagethi I gues

This tank IMO is a nice addition but also pointless. It doesn't add enough to of any benefit. Should have been the 2A7 or it should have gotten the addon hull armour package.

Is anyone else having trouble w bomb series? Its not letting me drop all in one go 😢 it says "Bomb series launch command is blocked by active weapon selector" Disabling the weapon selector only removes the message 😕 and it only lets me drop one by one which is frustrating... I'm on console btw
No the new german voices sound like an nervous mobile home driver on his way to switzerland with 4 kids and a unhappy wife, german voices before that sounded like nazis in movies sounded like… i wont run my tiger tank with these new voicelines.
