Speaking Truth I had to wait 2 and a half weeks for an appointment once cause they were so booked up. While I was in the waiting room, I heard a lady saying she was there because she had flu symptoms. I feel so bad for GPs who have to deal with time wasters like that.

Aww the poor baby with the eczema. My brother had eczema growing up it was so bad he would scratch his legs and arms so much that he would wake up with the bed sheets stuck to his wounds. It was so heartbreaking to see

When i was 3 i had really bad eczema and i would scratch it and bleed a lot so my mum put mittins on my hand but i slid them off so then she taped them on but then i got a fork and scratched it so then she had to hide all the cutlery 😂

I had it so bad I had to wear bandages- we had to go to a doctor in London and he prescribed a strong cream and luckily now all I get is a flare up every once in a while and even then it’s just a bit itchy and not that bad!

Agreed! Taking out dairy really does help a lot. Also I find cutting out red meat may help too such as beef as it’s very high in protein and can cause flare ups

The last two little girls were so lovely. The dad that got full custody of his daughter is doing a brilliant job. His daughter was so polite. The one with her heart backwards, she’s so cute. Such innocence ❤️

My uncle only found out about his heart being reversed a few years ago. He was born in 1975 and he only found out four years ago. He had X-rays and scans when he was younger and they never saw it. It was only when he got scans in Australia that the doctor looked at his chart, looked at it puzzled and then told my uncle to stay there for a minute. My uncle started getting nervous and when the doctor came back a few minutes later he explained how he has over twenty years experience and he has never seen a back to front heart before nor heard of it. My uncle is a fit man, yet he never had any problems, and he’s strong which he needs as he works as a heavy vehicle mechanic fixing dump trucks and machines used in quarrys.

Poor girl with eczema I have it too. I’m 14 since I was a kid. It used to be really bad but it’s got more mild with age. Cut out dairy or just try TRUST ME. Helped so much. I found my eczema flares up with new cremes,prodcuts,heat,water,sweat,stress so yeah Edit: also if it’s red and cracking and hot to touch go to doctors, it gets infected really easy, I aviod steroid cremes. Cerave is best brand for both acne and ezcma in my opinion

I have excema - mine came from when I got chicken pox which got infected with scalded skin syndrome. My skin peeled off and still hasn’t fully healed 16 years later. I am on constant steroids and I can’t really come off them.

Tig it is pretty common to be scared of doctors. It’s not about the doctors/hospital themselves that are scary, it’s what they may be associated with that is scary. For example - bad news: people are scared about receiving bad news.

The little girl with the heart issue. I think I would have ask the mom privately to give her more fruits and vegetables snacks. Even let her prepare them for the rest of the family. Her heart is already struggling. I would not want to complicate the surgery or her health anymore. I would have asked the mom to slowly work to reduce her weight. I would not want her heart to work any harder because of weight. I would tell her mother to take her and her siblings to the pool for exercises. Or make sure she takes a slow walk. Every other day.

Quite judgemental of you to say considering the girl clearly has many health complications, you don’t know what medications she is taking which may be impacting her weight. (Especially considering lung issues often require steroids, which cause weight gain)

Well if they have suspicions about a certain disease and the patient has one symptom that they know of and another system that they don’t know they will Google to see if it’s a symptom

I feel for the girl with chicken pox and her eczema flair up I have eczema bad when I was younger and it got under control as I got older. So if the dad keeps up with the lotion and the doctor should have given a ointment it helps better than the cream. And when it's nice and sunny get the little one out to get the vitamin d the skin needs.

I am curious if they don't have Pediatricians in the UK? Here in the US, most children go to designated Pediatricians or Family Practice doctors. I know they have a children's hospital but I see people just take their kids to a regular doctor and then like this Doctor they have to consult a pediatrician. Makes more sense to just have Pediatrician offices.
