Not only are they the most broken item in the game... they are the most broken! Part 1: • The Glitchy Side of Li... Part 2: • The Glitchy Side of Li...
@@Gamebuster I wonder if it can be circumvented with Dolphin's ability to emulate the Gamecube with extra RAM, granted however TTYD very likely would only care about the normal 24MB without a patch.
weird how bosses do the normal enemy death animation/spin when they die with a life shroom easy to guess why though, seeing as it plays an alternate death animation when an enemy dies with one that just so happens to look the same, but bosses arent programmed with it so you just end up with giant awkward models spinning all over
At the end, 100% it's due to the life shrooms. The game is attempting to spawn in the heart particles that circle the player during the revive animation, and there's too many of those particles for the game to handle, hence the crash.
The hands don't crash if you kill them slowly enough that their life shrooms are staggered. My educated guess is the life shrooms are spawning more heart particles than the game can handle.
Super interesting video! I really didn't think there were MORE Life Shroom glitchy aspects to be shown! Happy to see it, though! I wonder what causes the crashes associated with Left Tentacle & the Dead Hands? 2:30 Shoutouts to the crowd sleeping through swords & a giant skeleton falling on them. Lotsa' stuff falls on the crowd without disturbing them, this video, it seems! 3:23 Life Shrooms undo Huge status. Oof. 4:08 What made a softlock suspected as likely there? 8:55 The Dead Hands are now actually pretty freaky. 9:23 Is there a way to see their hitboxes?
The Left Tentacle crash, I have no idea. But the Dead Hands crash is most likely because of too many hearts / explosions being called on screen. 9:23 There's the A.A.Hitboxes badge that Fatguy found during his current Badge Bonanza...
@@torreywhiting5402 the crashes in this video have music playing when it crashes. I've gotten the loud buzzing sound during normally silent parts before. (Such as during a screen transition when another map loads and Dolphin disagrees with that map, the music is between songs)
Hey koops, do you think you can do a video showcasing what the special Showstopper even does? Like what are its limitations? What can it be used on and when you should use it? Things like that. I NEVER use that special because I have never gotten it to work.
From what I remember, if you do all the commands right and get it basically perfect, showstopper sends 6 of its respective crystal star through the enemies and deals MASSIVE damage. It OHKOs most enemies but will only do a fair amount of damage to bosses.
Frootloop the Chatot Showstopper doesn’t actually do any damage. It’s similar to Flurry’s Gale Force, where you either succeed and remove the enemy from the battle or it does nothing. For me when I played, it worked on most enemies and none of the bosses, I would assume the tougher the enemy the more chance it has to fail.
If it's known, how does the life shroom script work? Does it go "if holding life shroom: check if HP >0, initialise status, force HP to 0, then add 10 HP"? Or is it something like "if holding life shroom: check if HP >0, initialise status, then force HP to 10"? Depending on the order of events, shenanigans might be possible should they be interrupted.
Game crash only occurs when so many hevey particles get active at same time or software/Game couldn't handle it . (But seriously how bloober and corz didn't crash the game I didn't expect that )
I’m assuming this is due to these bosses not supposed to ever have life shrooms. As well as with the blooper in prologue, best item I believe you can use is fire flower.
I'm leaving this here to tell you that youtube comments are busted, I went to another video and somehow, the comment section was still on this one so now this doesnt make any sense
