Cher 'many rivers to cross' live is one of her best. thats from the late 80s 90s. really shows her power. Its one i dont see mentioned alot

You nailed it! Absolutely! Thank You! When she sings, it comes from an inner smile and it's reflecting in her cheekbones and mouth technique. I was so mesmerized as an 8 year old, when I heard the Shoop Shoop Song and this song starts almost accapella. It was that inner smile and energy that striked me, but I couldn't find the words how to describe it then.... Thank you so much for your analysis

Then and now would be awesome! On anyone, but of course for Cher. I also think looking at Adele or Shakira or someone else who has had vocal surgery would be interesting, to compare techniques from before and after

Can you please react to Patti Labelle's performance of Mariah Carey's "Love Takes Time" at the Grio awards? She's a vocal legend, she's almost 80 years old but she still slayed those high notes and vocals! Her belts were still powerful and piercing, and her head voice was insane as always!
