Hello everyone and welcome back to Age of Wonders 4! The GOAT resumes his challenge in the Memetastic Arena, and he is in extreme danger. Extreme danger demands extreme schemes that start with releasing Druin as a Vassal at 2:09 to defend itself and abandoning Boarton at 3:53 in a classic Empty City tactic. After meeting his final three opponents at 9:06, 27:27, and 30:32 and joining the War of Blints at 55:38, the GOAT tricked his way back in to control of Boarton at 1:09:28, completely flipping the momentum of war to take Fatesweb at 1:21:04, siege the Wellspring at 1:32:57, and ultimately capture Sandal's Capital in the battle at 1:55:00. The GOAT is cooking, and the Sha-Brytol *are* the menu -- thanks for watching!
1:25:30 Converting a hero adds the hero into your pool, it is practically useless, it should add that hero for 0 cost, but you have to pay for such a hero still, if it wasn't changed recently.
There is this mod on Steam "Stop changing my hair color", great for rulers with unique hair colour, pore Jaina turning Goth there is also this "Draconic Better Visual", but, it seam to add head-helmet clipping on Draconic Vitality. Haven't done it in actual game, but, Astral Blood with Draconian transformation may remove the scales, without the mods
Sadly if you activate migration or vassalization, all currently buildings currently running are cancelled and all progress lost. I wish they finished that when vassalized, but alas they won't.
What was supposed to be the battle of Boarton turned into merely an overblown door knocking. Not a single defender was left in the city’s walls. Sandal thought that the so called “Best” were nothing at all. Not a single one was willing to fight his grand army, save a few drunken fools who thought they could be some sort of all-powerful hero with nothing but a broom handle. They hadn’t even enchanted their makeshift arms. So, Sandal split up his forces, intending to search for the defenders that almost certainly fled at his approach. And he did find them. In truth, Him The Goat had done a classic move. He invited overconfidence of his adversaries while being sure to lose nothing of value in the process. Overconfidence has claimed many of the Best, so what hope did this spell-crazed fool have? Not a single hope.
You keep looking at the art of war's aoe morale boost but then keep ending your turn doing nothing during your set up phase XD Loving the GOATs so far -- making me want to start a devil goatman play through.
One of the problems with Auto-Battle is, that AI loves to use abilities early: One time use Revive ability will be used to heal at the start, then another unit dies, Jumping/Teleporting units get in fight turn 1-2, while no allies are in melee, enemy is together, healthy and in guard mode, so Jumpers get surrounded and murdered
Man this playful is looking good and it’s really fun, oh also same question as last time what’s your favorite affinity when it comes to tomes and traits. Personally mines ORDER
Sometimes i wonder about your actions, instead of spending gold for boosting and wasting imperium for meager 2 units, why not utilize the rally and get at least a full stack of tier 1/2 units? ;-)
You must be referring to Be-Sau's ragtag defense force around-about 1:47:00. The main reason I did not pursue the Rally is because of time. It takes 2 turns to muster Rallied units, and I was broke for the Rally at 1:40:47 which would have been the latest one I could have utilized the units to attack the Hero stack while they were isolated. The much more enticing Rally at 1:43:56 would not have arrived in time to fight the Hero stack while it was still isolated, and my primary goal was to kill the Hero to prevent them from being able to take my capital. It was an expensive price to pay, but I ultimately think it was worth it to ensure The Sauce cannot be sieged. There is a reason -- of arguable soundness -- to my madness!
