I believed Gerry Turner at the beginning of the show. Then heard from his 92 year old dad that he called him a player! I have no doubt that he was unfaithful to his dear wife Toni. Dating aftet 3 months of her death?? Good luck dear Theresa....you are a lovely woman....run while you can!!!!!

Gerry Turner, dodged that question. Theresa, is so gullible that she seems to believe the lies. I pretty sure he's lying about a lot more things. What a pathological liar he is. I really hate a smooth talker, and he is one of them. I'm happy his girlfriend exposed him. I knew he was too good to be true. He belongs in the hall of shame.
Why no be truthful?? He presented himself as a grieving widow who hadn’t dated since his wife died. Gerry actually started dating a month after his wife died. Okay…. Gerry should have just told the truth. We would as viewers were duped.
My sister passed away at 50 from cancer, 33 years of marriage, same thing; my brother in law started dating a month after her death. They get over it really quick!! What gets me is within a month he met someone he didn't know at all to get married asap....by what those 2 are saying, i doubt very much that they can even sleep together! Oh well, we can only wish them good luck.

The reason why viewers are so upset with Gerry, is because, " The Golden Bachelor" franchise presented a false narrative. It is like buying a beautiful car, driving it for 8 weeks, and finding out it is a lemon. Everyone was routing for this lovely, sweet widower, and now we find out he is allegedly a liar!

FYI....Gerry & Theresa are not going to live in Indiana, they will be moving to South Carolina! Away from his little town gossips! He's certainly coming across like he's a liar for sure, but it doesn't matter to him, he's plowing forward now. And that will be Theresa's problem from now on... ABC is just as much at fault as flim flam man Gerry. They're letting him get hammered for the choices they portrayed about him on the show. They all deserve each other. Poor Theresa.... run!
How he treated Leslie and Faith mattered. You could see his flip when he found out what Theresa does for a living. All of a sudden he lived her too. And they are buying a home for the 2 of them in South Carolina. She won't have to face his little town much.

Agree 100%... Leave Gary alone! The 29 women on the show did not mind that he would be dating 28 other women concurrently on the show. So, why would they mind if there was one more in his past?
Leave the guy alone. He’s happy now, and I pray nothing but the best for him and Teresa. Who cares about his past relationships. He played the role well, and agree the produces fed him to do what he’s doing.

The other women should feel so much relief that he chose Theresa instead of them. Everything about this man screams fake. How could he dare compare breaking it off with Lesley that he just met to the day is wife died?? That just tells me he is nothing but full of sh"t. Hello, I don't have to take pills to relax, secondly I have a great life, and thirdly I don't have any dirty little secrets. Actually I feel sorry for you, if you defend this Mr. Gerry's behaviour, you must be one of those woman, that are treated like a doormats. The point is he lied, and treated another woman with such disrespect, and had those phoney crocodile tears on the show. I have a right to express my opinion, and if you don't like it, you know what you can do? LOL...
Gosh everyone! If you haven’t had someone super close to you pass away it is a life altering experience! Some people grieve by separation and retreat… some people need to feel loved, be touched and have social interaction … and everyone of us have a very different support system!. When they say do not make any important decisions for at least a full year after a major life altering loss, it can be very true! This is my personal experience and Jerry did what he needed to to survive and move forward! Teresa did what she needed to do to survive and move forward! Who are we to judge them on how and why they did things … just support them to be able to move on! Every story is uniquely different! Be happy for their love as you don’t know a thing unless you’ve been in their exact shoes and journey❤
Thank you for not bashing Gerry. It was a tv show for us to enjoy; they have the hard part, to make this marriage work. I wish them all the love and success.
I give them a big break - who here KNOWS what the producers knew? Perhaps Gerry was pressured into going along with the Bachelor storyline??? Who here absolutely KNOWS what he has told Theresa????? They were looking for love and companionship. I wish them well.
