The Good, The Disappointing, and The Boring: 2024 Mid Year Reading Wrap Up 

Wow was not expecting you to talk about one of my all time favorite pieces of media! NANA saved my freaking life. I’ve revisited it too many times to count. Gotta say I’d love more content on manga and anime!

Nana is such a amazing story, i've read it very young and many things it explores passed right through my mind. Rereading it now it just is so much more impactfull. The ways the mangaka speaks on womanhood and experiences being percieved as an adult but still not having the knowledge or emotional maturity to deal with adult things is just so fitting. I love how she develops women, they are flawed, but humanized, they are allowed to make mistakes but have to deal with the consequences of them, they can be lovely to eachother but also try to tear other apart. Really interesting queer subtext also, i really dont know if id rather see the nanas relationship as platonic or having almost be romantic but it's totally a love story, Osaki was the love of Hachi's live.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on My Hero Academia! I watched the anime some, but fell off. I’m trying to decide if I should start it again.

I keep checking this page hoping the Petals on the Wind synopsis is up, and each time I'm disappointed. Its the first video you've put up that got substantial views, because people really enjoyed it
