The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses Makes a Pathetic Attempt to Deal with Bad Media Reports 

I see an analogy of David Splanes propaganda in comparison to Joseh Gobbels, the propaganda minister for Adolf Hitler right before the fall of the NAZI empire on May 7, 1945.

The internet was the beginning of the end. Too much information coming in at an uncontrollable pace. In the past, they had a tight grip and an almost absolute control on acceptable reading material. Fast forward to the the time period of the mid 90"s until today. In the privacy of their own homes, JWs can read and verify if their faith can stand up to criticism. Since it cannot, faith begins to weaken. Trust the Bible and what it teaches us. Do not out faith in a man or group. If GOD gave us the instructions, we don't need anyone changing HIS WORD.

The Watchtower did not teach Eric Wilson well. Because the Watchtower teaches there deluded indoctrinated followers not to do any independent thinking. How convenient for the GB who admits themselves that they can be wrong (only) because they proved it over and over again on wrong teaching to wrong prophetic interpretations... So my question to my sister was: in 50 years how many books have you studied, principles, and rules have you followed that are now considered by the same GB as wrong understanding or old truth?... Where is the Holy Spirit acting through the GB to be well inspired? Also, there is no such thing as old truth/lights... How do you know that they know better today, without any debate, and search for yourself, knowing that they ask for all your spare time to be devoted to what they ask you to do right or wrong and somehow scares you to death (at ARMEGEDOn) for listening to anything that contradicts them, or anyone can prove their case and show the GB organization hypocrisy? Paul can only be right in 1 Cor 11:18-19. Would a liar/manipulator tell you what he/she is doing to you? Or would he/she ask you to not listen to what other people say about him/her? The Australian Royal Commission adduced the Watchtower side in a way that nobody had ever seen before. Royal Commissions don’t usually have quite as much evidence compelling power so I guess it took some by surprise. The finger pointing of past cases where an elder, branch representative or governing body member were able to blame shift was not available. I think this was a world first. I agree, never assume you know the story and keep asking questions when your intuition is telling you something isn’t right.
