There have been calls for the WT to soften their shunning practice for years from so many angles. But only when it cost them money did they do anything about it. This is how an corporation acts, not a spirit lead organization.

Wow, thank you so much for dissecting David Splaine's talk and really explaining what God's purpose is. The witnesses really twisted it all around. I didn't know how or what to make of it all after leaving. I learned more in your 35 min talk than I have in years!! You know why?? Because it finally finally makes sense!!! Any witness that has been in the org. for a reasonable amount if time can see that he's lying. This is for the sake of people who are perhaps thinking about studying or those investigating the organization.

I have noticed the GB in their talks have this spiteful nasty tone and their faces also show hate, they come across as desperate and in fear.

Seems to me that the GB are the ones that are in big trouble and have been losing lately. Such arrogance from these guys, of course, when they freely admit they owe no one an apology when they’re wrong, that’s to be expected.

Was disfellowshipped because my husband told the Elders I was going to dismiss the governing body, taking over myself, then resurrecting the dead. I was then abused by the organization My husband was taken from me, my home stolen, all income and savings stolen. An attorney told me all actions we taken against me to destroy my family.

It was when I read from Rutherford's own words that God's holy spirit doesn't help him as a president of WT, but rather ANGELS that communicate God's word to him. It was then I concluded that his dividing Christians into "Annointed" and "other sheep" makes the organisation a counterfeit and a scam.

I was baptised early 1970 and have preached in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Idaho, Oregon, Washington State, and I have never heard anyone tell us we need a permit. The only one's I have ever heard make that claim is the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses, mostly in Watchtower study article's.

A denomination is defined as existing within a specific country. There are 33,000+ total of these "Christian denominations" in 238 total countries. These 33,000 are subdivided into "6 major ecclesiastical-cultural mega-blocs", and ordering them by denomination size we have (I am rounding up or down slightly for convenience, using the year 2000 figures) : Independents (about 22000) Protestants (about 9000) "Marginals" (about 1600) Orthodox (781) Roman Catholics (242) Anglicans (168) So the 33,000 number is from the total of these 6 mega-blocs: 22000 + 9000 + 1600 + 781 + 242 + 168 = 33,000+ So which one of all of those Christian denominations is the true one started by Jesus? well that would depend on who you ask, ask a baptist and he will claim that his denomination/church is the right one, ask a methodist and you will get the same answer, his is the right one, all of them will claim they are the right one that Jesus started. as one can already see they all cannot be the right one as they all have at least one doctrine that is different from all of the rest or there would be some lesser number of them. Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The true church of Jesus Christ has never been prevailed against, though it has often faced sever persecution, yet it has thrived from the time it was first started, anyone who makes the claim that their church/denomination is just restoring what Jesus started are bold faced liars. to say that the true church needed restoration is tosay that it had been prevailed against and having fallen needed restoration.. It will be interesting to see what Jesus has to say about all of the denominations/churches/sects that have claimed theirs was the only true church of Jesus Christ. Personally I say none of the above, as the True church has existed down through the centuries never having been prevailed against and is made up of individual believers all over the world, no denomination or church being the true church, but believers who assemble themselves together can be found in many nominal churches.

It would behoove the GB to actually read the exact description of the 144,000. They are 12,000 x the 12 tribes of Israel. Single Jewish men whom have never known women. None of the current GB participants fit any of those descriptions. 🤔

Abraham, Adam and Moses were friends of God and had direct back and forth conversations with him. Abraham, listen to your wife and the conversation over Sodom. Everything was very clear. Now we pray to God and eventually get an answer. Do the GB not see complaining about so called persecution they are fighting against God’s will? Those who take the sword trying to prevent persecution or their death (Jesus not fighting his death) according to God’s will. Jesus didn’t complain about being arrested. Those who live by the sword will die by the sword. (What are the statistics on that if taken literally?) Threatening if you persecute me God will get you. I will go to the UN and make a complaint. It is getting crazy. They seem to set themselves up for a fall.

I spoke with my uncle that has not attended a WT meeting since 2018 but still has WT leanings. He said that the changes implemented in the GB update#2 are good and that this is probably, "how it always should have been." I then asked him how then can WT forget the actions of God to correct Israel's misgivings with the likes of Nebuchadnessar, then Cyrus, and ultimately even Rome as prophesied by Jesus, "Den of Shredders!- Not one stone shall be left upon a stone"? Good things come from Jehovah, bad things come from Satan. I'd say that is up in the air.

Even when the green light is given to reinstate a person who met someone else at that time and had an awful time in a marriage situation (encouraged to continue in the marriage with gaslighting techniques from a few even though the previous wife had left after 18 months of marriage) the reinstatement itself is not a nice process as people just sit there instead of welcoming the person back. Although they avidly make an effort to come to see you when you don't carry on attending after a short time from the wonderful reinstatement experience at the kingdom hall. What annoys me is that we always believed that our voluntary contributions were the only funding that the organisation received. Nobody was told that the government gave any funding towards the organisation. (Unless the elders knew). I am disgusted as it now makes sense that those who I think know this will cover up their own family indiscretions etc. There were decent witnesses and I had some good friends but the organisation relying on government handouts is disgusting..

Minute 34.00 Exactly what has happened to me. I do not believe in the blood doctrine, therefore they told me I had apostate thinking and could not be a member...BUT, my wife is a newly baptised one...and they convinced her to 'save herself and our 3 children from me'...and now divorce, custody and the destruction of the marriage covenant is fast approaching...all due to false teachings and control.

Jesus said at Matt 10:26 not to fear our opposers because time would reveal everything. It seems to me that their increasing desperation belies their claim to be his disciples. Time is not on their side.

Preaching work was about believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and the ingathering of the Children of God. Not about some Paradise earth, which was never part of Jesus teachings. All about believing in Christ and ingathering of the Children of God. That's what Jesus primary Kingdom message was about.

Eric, Jesus’ disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Are we to think that they didn’t know how to address God? Their request came because of Jesus’ statements about what and what not to pray for. Praying for food and clothing is something Jehovah already knows we need. Their request could have been worded, “OK, Jesus, what do you think we should pray for?”, or, “What are the most important things to pray for.” Jehovah’s sanctification was the first thing that Jesus taught us to pray for. Jehovah being concerned about his name being sanctified does not mean he will forget about our salvation, it means his sanctification is the foundation for our everlasting salvation.

Ok, the gb’s teaching and practice have moved far away from the Christianity defined by the Bible, but for this question of the children of God who will reign alongside Jesus: what is the order of greatness? Millions? Billions? Where do they come from? Out of the most sincere of all Christianity, for the last two thousand years? They will reign for a thousand years, over whom? Who will populate the earth? When the earth is populated and filled with perfect humans like Adam and Eve, what will happen? This raises practical questions (procreation, sexuality, overpopulation) if we admit the hypothesis that God, already surrounded by created angels, has nevertheless decided to create humans physically resembling animals but destined for eternal life. Unless I say, like other Christian religions or not, that the hope is life in a spiritual body in heaven with God or eternal death (with flames or without flames), I do not see how you solve the question of the celestial vocation opposed to the original design of eternal life on Earth...

Interesting. If the 144000 are not literal, why does the book of Revelations name in detail the specific tribes allotting 12000 members for each tribe? 12 represents completeness, like 12 apostles and 12 gates, 12 foundations, and 12 baskets left over after Jesus's miracle. The scriptures name Israel to rule as Kingdom priests, and Paul speaks of Jews being specific to the fulfillment of Jah's initial promise to them as a people culminating in their full restoration as a special people toward the end of days as described in Revelations. Yes, Gentiles are grafted in according to the book of Galatians, but their role is perhaps different in the function of the body of Christ as members grafted in on the branch of a tree. Rational thinking would demand that we realize that a Kingdom needs subjects to be ruled over, so it would seem curious to believe every Christian and Jew serves as Kingdom rulers...Over whom exactly? No sinner or worldly nation will survive the plagues, bowls, and trumpets, nor will they be found after judgment. Unless the resurrected who died before Christ serve as Kingdom subjects, who will be judged by their deeds according to the scriptures, perhaps they will serve as subjects in God's upcoming Kingdom. 144000 seems to be both numerological and literal to me, considering the context of gates in new Jerusalem and the names of the tribes written on the gates. What needs to be noted is that the new covenant and the Abrahamic covenant offers life, a relationship with God and land, while the Davidic covenant, fulfilled by Jesus, may indicate that the Jews may rule alongside him as co-rulers. Just a thought.
