I have the 239 and have a 6.5 inch wrist. Surprisingly it doesn’t wear too large. Beautiful watch.

I tried on the SBGJ237 in GS Knightsbridge boutique and it is a fantastic looking watch and I have to mention that the bezel is also sapphire crystal, not steel or ceramic. It is an amazing piece but I have to say it did look a little large for my wrist and I agree with other comments that at 40mm this would have been a no brainer. Unfortunately the SBG239 was not in stock to try on and I will need to return to the boutique when it arrives as I believe the it will wear smaller than the bracelet version.

As a loyal Rolex customer, have to say this watch just blows Rolex GMT out of water.

As expected with GS the finishing is totally great that you could see the reflection of the wearer. That two tone bezel looked somewhat black/white in other angles. Gonna admit that the date window at the 4 o clock is a meh but the watch is itself is such a beauty 😍

I prefer the green watch with a bracelet... both very nice pieces. USA suggested retail - $6600 for strap and $6800.00 for bracelet model.

After wearing this watch in person, i can it was perfect in size to me. I can't understand what people are complaining about. Does everyone have super tiny wrists ? There is no way i would wear any watch below 42mm. Used to have yatchmaster, it always looked so freaking tiny. And, no it doesn't mean i like watches the size just for example's sake, like invicta 54mm etc. Those are ugly. 42-44 mm are perfect to me! At most i would like it at 42mm but nothing less than that !

Why didn't they use 50%/50% for every colour in the bezel?. It is crazy what they did 55%/45%.

I would hope unless you really like this G S brand, to look @ options, such as An Omega Seamaster, A 16710 Rolex GMT....something that is not so over priced.....

A 'fugly' anachronistic logo ruins an otherwise perfect dial... In one of Hodinkee’s podcasts, Jason Fried mentioned it briefly and I’ve also read a few comments here and there about GS logo, specially in this last year, when the brand acquired much market attention. After that, I’ve slowly started to realize the anachronism in question. From the graphic design perspective, a logo made with a Gothic alphabet bears absolutely no connection with a Japanese brand, specially when gothic lettering stands more of a throwback to Europe’s medieval times - a time period that absolutely is not immediately associated with pinnacle improvements in technology (besides church building and navigation), but rather with a period of ignorance and the burning of early scientists (like Giordano Bruno and almost Galileo...), holy wars, famine and desease... Maybe the usage of that typeface was just an ill-formed decision from the Japanese, in order to be subliminal perceived with European values by the regular buyer, in a time when Swiss watchmaking was at its peak. But if GS wants to project the image of a company in the front line of the highest tech developments in timekeeping and refinement in finishing - which all of you RU-vidrs have been praising for the last year or so - it really should address the subject and maybe re think it’s image.

It’s all just... boring. Here look how well we can hand finish this watch that looks like every generic thing out there
