maybe I'm completely wrong but the stan is bill theory I think is in reference to the Bill cipher hunt. because in the hunt there's several tapes and messages recorded by Stan and in one specific one, he sings that one song that Bill sings at the end of the series (we'll meet again) which may be implies something
The “Same coin” theory is from a Reddit post someone made comparing the two characters. That theory was essentially that Stan was a different form of bill who lived a different life and made better decisions. I believe it was from the axolotl comic in which the creature vaguely mentions redemption and talks about Bills origin. The cypher hunt wasn’t the catalyst for the theory (as far as I know) but instead further evidence in support of it.

In a comic the creator said that there was only one piece of canon in the comic. In it dipper and Mabel go to an axolotl and it says that if you spell his name then a command it will happen. Maybe bill found the axolotl
I think that was the choose-your-own-adventure book [which wasn't a comic as far as I know] _Dipper and Mabel and the Curse of the Time Pirates Treasure_
It's during the Curse of the Pirates Treasure book. During one of the alt paths, Dipper & Mabel find themselves talking to the Axolotl, which grants them one question each. Dipper asks about Bill, after which the Axolotl reveals a whope heap of info behind a poem, most notably how Bill regrets burning his home dimension and how he misses it, how he watches from all birch trees, and how the backwards message will reincarnate him as another form in another time, presumably Grunkle Stan in the 1960s.
Bill says "A-X-O-L-T-L MY TIME HAS COME TO BURN, I INVOKE THE ANCIENT POWER SO I MAY RETURN" and in the comic the Axolotl says "sixty degrees that comes in threes, watches from within birch trees. Saw his own dimension burn. Misses home and can't return. Say he is happy, he is a liar. Blame the arson for the fire. If he wants to shirk the blame, He'll have to invoke my name. One way to absorv his crimes, A different form, a different time." Sixty degrees that comes in threes refers to a equilateral triangle, that is what bill is. The birch trees is about how the trees in GF looks like eyes, specially Bill's eyes. Bill saw his own dimension burn, misses home and cant return. Bill always tend to hsow he is happy but he is a liar, blaming the arson for his own fire. If he wants to come back he'ill have to Invoke the Axolotl, in a different form, a different time.
The Dipper x Pacifica thing is referring to the Journal 3 book where he has a picture of her in the journal and mentions that he thinks she smells nice and she’s “not that bad”. It’s also worth noting that the way he writes about Pacifica is similar to how he’d talk about Wendy in some of his earlier entries in the journal. Also, Alex Hirsh has stated that the Journal 3 book is canon.
(This proves dipper x pacifica a little) If u buy The real life journal 3 you will on one of The Pages with ghosts find this note from dipper from when they killed the ghost: when you hug her she smells like champagne and flowers. He also crossed out a line that says : is it just me or was there some vibe going on? Edit: holy moly i never had so many likes!
There's also a reference in the official coloring book, there's a page where Mabel is listing her ships and one of them is Dipcifica, to which Dipper acts grossed out by the idea and Mabel responds with something like "after we cure her of being a rich girl" or something like that to which Dipper seems intrigued
Gravity Falls has probably been my biggest interest ever, me being a fan of it and it being basically my only interest for the entirety of its run time, so i'm really excited to watch this video and revisit my past and maybe learn a few things. :D
In book 3 theres is a secret paper of blendin the time traveler and if deciphered its says that he went back in time to live and that time babys atoms will regenerate by joining in the future so time baby is stuck in a infinit loop
Okay so I have a bit of information to add. 8:30 Stanbel is a character, who shows up in Gravity Falls Lost Legends, in the story where Mabel was in the dimension, where everything was Mabel, and it included Stanbel as a joke there. But it seems that many people liked the character. 12:35. Stan says about buying gold in the episode "Boyz Crazy" almost at the end, when Dipper and Stan catches Robbie with his manupulating music disk. 18:55 The Shapeshifter takes the form of Dipper, that Dipper takes in the episode "Northwest Mansion Mystery" when becoming the wooden version of himself. There’s also a reference to it in the official journal three book, where when dipper writes about the events of the episode “Northwest Mansion mystery”. Dipper and Pacifica hug, and in the journal he writes that “she smelled like champagne” and he felt “some vibe” before crossing it out, kinda implying that he liked her.
The 5-fingers one is a little more complicated actually. For the most part, kids have 4 and adults have 5, but there are some characters that break that rule. Like how Sheriff Blubs is an adult with 4 and Gideon is a child with 5. The idea early on in the fandom was that the more fingers a character had, the less you could trust them/the more they were hiding. This theory was largely brought on by the fact that the author of the journals had 6 fingers.
If bill knows “lots of things” does he know what happens in the series before it happens? Does he know he’s a cartoon character? Does he know he’ll never escape the 2nd dimension?
Well it depends. Bill clearly says he was trapped in a 2D World and he could'nt exist in GF because the world is 3D while he is 2D. Bill exists for a long time, WAYYYY before humans. Bill only does not have control over time due to the Time Baby. And "the tv series" part is YOUR perspective. YOU may be in a TV series world and wouldnt know, how would you? GF is a documentary made by dipper, since he narrates in the first and in the last episode. There is nothing in GF that contradicts our world, specially since the whole weirdmagedon happened only in the city. GF in the same way as "our wourld" is 3 dimensional, the pyramids exist and are a gift for Bill, The cave signs are also a thing in both. The socite of the eye and Bill himself is OBVLIOUS connected to the illumimati. The bill state is a thing (but was arrested lol). What makes you any better than any world thay you have seen?? You may be a video game NPC and does t know. In the same way all the people in those world does not have consciencie of where they are you also may not have.
My Grandfather was a free mason and from everything i know about his work with the masons, it seemed to primarily be charity work and just having lunch with a bunch of other old people. I'm not sure where all this conspiracy theory stuff about the masons came from but it certainly isn't true today.

We pretty much already know the deal with the first one, about the Axolotl spell. There was a Gravity Falls book that ended with Dipper and Mabel coming across an ancient axolotl god, who told the twins that if they were ever having trouble with Bill Cipher to simply say said axolotl's name and he would move Bill to a different time and place, in a new form. Alex Hirsch confirmed that this book is non-canon, but one major part of it is. Bill's use of a supposed axolotl spell would imply that the last part, the ending, is the part of the book that's canon. Bill used that same spell in some form to resurrect himself in a different time and place. We just don't know what that time and place is, and what form he takes.

The dipper x Pacifica is referenced in lost legends, when Pacifica hugs Dipper after he says he likes her just the way she is, after she talks about having to be the most popular and beautiful person around because of her parents. Now, some people might argue them hugging is just a friend thing. But may I remind you that Pacifica texts him after about “the hug” and says it was nothing. To her surprise she discovers dipper doesn’t have a phone and she had been talking to Mabel this whole time. Now, some people might say that that she was saying “just saying, that hug was just a friend hug.” And I say again NO. Shembulock (I have no idea how to spell it) tells us that “dippers best place for *romance* is inside a burlap sack. Now, I don’t really have a lot of evidence from the show aside from the northwest manor episode but in the “see you next summer” paper Pacifica’s name has a heart next to it.

The “stan is bill thing” is probably a reference to a theory by film theory. In short, the journal states that memories can be brought back after being erased if exposed to pictures or stories about it. Since bill was erased with all of stans memories and his memories managed to return, bill has also returned and is controlling Stan.

You know, after a whole bunch of events (that are a bit too complicated for me to explain, look it up if you’re curious) the Bill statue from the Cipher Hunt was moved to Confusion Hill in Humboldt county. I actually have pictures of myself and my friends at the statue and, fun fact, when we went to see it Confusion Hill was closed, so we ended up breaking in to take pictures with it lmao. Thinking back on it I’m surprised we didn’t get yelled at

The Stan is Bill theory relates to a scavenger hunt the creators put out where telephone messages would eventually lead you to that Bill Cipher statue that girl found in the woods. Basically it’s Stanley and he doesn’t sound right, almost like Bill is controlling him. I think the theory is that when Stan’s identity came back, so did Bill.
The caterpillar one most likely refers to how Alex wanted to bring the caterpillar that got enlarged back for continuity but couldn't find a reason to squeeze him in for various reasons. Mentioned on the commentary for that episode

Fun fact: Amphibia, The Owl House, and Gravity Falls all take place in the same universe as proven by references and cameos. Also the shapeshifter actually did predict dippers last stance because in the episode where he goes to exorcise the ghost in Pacifica’s house he gets turned into a wooden statue in that exact pose before getting saved by Pacifica.

Yes, Bills death message refers to the cosmic axolotl in the official Gravity Falls comic, Dipper and Mabel and the Time Pirates Treasure. In the comic the meet the axolotl, and he says that they can both ask him one question, Dipper asks “What do you know about Bill Cypher? The axolotl then answers with a riddle: “Sixty degrees that come in threes, watches from within birch trees, say his own dimension burn, misses home and cant return, says he’s happy he’s a lier, blame the arson for the fire, if he wants to shirk the blame, he’ll have to invoke my name, one way to absolve him crime, a different form a different time.” Many people think that the main point is he will be brought back in a different form in a different time because he recites the axolotls name in his death message. People also think that he may have become the cipher statue that was shown at the end of the show.
As far as i know time baby regenerates after 1000 years, in the time traveling episode there was a scene where time baby was destroying world, so i guess after time baby regenerated he was angry and destroyed world, also in one of the shorts, there was this mailbox that was answering everything, it said world will end in 3012, and show action is happening in 2012
I think the Pacifica and Dipper fanfic came up because of how supportive dipper is to Pasifica like in the mansion episode where people turned to wood and like the comic you mention about slenderman, you see them become closer and how Pasifica learns to have respect and be a better person for her self because of dipper, so I think the fanfic that was a bit sexual was just a stretch lol and the ship came up because of how close and supportive they are with each other, especially dipper being supportive and helpful

I never noticed but it looks like the shapeshifter takes the form of the hide-behind, meaning he actually managed to see it despite its interesting ability.
There is a good bit of evidence for the Bill = Stan theory, but im not sure if I believe it myself and i can't remember everything.. The main piece of evidence i remembered was that only Bill and Stan call Ford "sixer"

The Pacifica x dipper reference was in lost legends after the first story where shmebulock talks about how Pacifica tried texting dipper and Mabel picked up and insisted Pacifica likes dipper.
I really think that bill cipher might really return since we'll he was broken and erased with Stan's memories so when they came back he might've been back with them
The "Stan is Bill" theory isn't really titled correctly, it's about bill entering Stan's mind in the last episode. The conclusion of the show was bill being wiped from Stan's mind, but then Stan recovers his memories, so that could mean Bill was also recovered or never really gone? Both characters do say to buy gold, Bill to Gideon and Stan to Robbie, they are the only characters to call Ford "Sixer", and they both sing the song "we'll meet again" by Vera Lynn, Bill in one of the Weirdmageddon episodes, and Stan can be heard singing it during the bill cipher statue scavenger hunt that ended the show. It seems like they were really trying to show these characters are related. Matpat does a much better job explaining it in his video, and he also talks about the axolotl.
