This is honestly something I'd love to see integrated into the base game. Crises that can emerge mid-late game for each race, Ogres having to deal with rebellious Gnoblars would be awesome!
So it’s like a two step process, you have to convince the game where the rider will sit and that the mount is legitimate. Like it’s easier to have a female model on a cold one Vs an Ork boy. Buuut if you trick the game by telling the game the Ork boy is on a boar and that the boy is supposed to be in sync with the cold one. It works.
I love these sorts of faction mods, they might never get official support but the modding community provides. Modding support brought me back to warhammer 3 after months and you can see why here. Thanks for great video.
The gnoblar horde was a creative idea tbh There was another gobbler unit that made me chuckle is the very lucky gits and they revive like 4 times I think I genuinely love the modding community so much keep up the good work showcasing it The base game is fun but these custom units just make it that much more visually pleasing
I mean I want more silly things added to this, like the blood weasels or that fire scorpions and go gnoblar knights go! Knoblarings (knight gnoblar) That was very silly.
Reminds me of when I played Skarsnik on easy and would attack T2 minor settlements with five thousand+ goblins, manually fighting the battles because watching the screeching goblin carpet envelop the lands was funny.
Fröb here - I've been watching your videos for a long time now and am always curious what you will upload next since your content is always nice to watch. It was quite a surprise to see two of my own mods in it today. A very good surprise, though! Thanks for featuring them! Keep up those entertaining battles! And that no one is able to pronounce my name properly... I think that's part of the game. :'D
Thanks, glad to hear that you enjoy their new looks! More stuff will be coming in the future. That's a bit hard to explain since most languages don't even have the letter "ö". But if you really want to know, you can use google translater, enter "Fröb", set the language to German and than listen to it. But otherwise the "fraub"/"frob" pronounciation is also fine. :'D
I've said it before and I'll say it again, a strong modding community adds a decade to a games lifespan. Does anyone have recommendations for other good modded factions in TW 2 or 3?
Southern Realms has already been mentioned, but the same modder has also made a faction mod for Kraka Drak, the northern Dwarfs smack in the middle of Norsca. Hopefully they’ll be updated for the third game
Nanu's Pirates of Sartosa Overhaul turns Aranessa's faction from another vampirate into an actual human/dwarf/northmen faction of pirates (as they should have been in the first place imho). With stalking shotgunners/grenadiers and fatigue immunity as well iirc .
I can just imagine the face of belakor watching a horde of gnoblars ripping apart his soldiers and greatest champions and after that banishing him back to the realms of chaos
On that part where you mentioned how the Ogre army abilities don't apply to Daemons like they do to Gnoblars: I am pretty sure they do work against Daemons as long as the Ogres manage to last-hit crumbling Daemon entities. It is simply harder to reliably fill up the ability bar since some models in a crumbling Daemon unit die on their own before an Ogre manages to land a killing hit on them
For a skirmishing flyer, have the Blood Condors holding Gnoblar archers in their talons, like babies in a satchel. It could be a parody of The Stork. They could behave like a Deck Droppers, except the birds could actually drop the goblins like a bomb when they run out of ammo. So they would be a combination of Deck Droppers and Lizardmen pterodactyls. I feel that could fit into the Ogre army, but most definitely here!
If you look at Gnobbo's unit card, he actually doesn't have any missile stats listed. My guess is that his ammo bar either was just an oversight, or that it actually represents the charges on one of his abilities.
I groaned back when CA announced that Rhinox Riders were just "Crushers" now, in a game with two other "-crushers," and wanted them to just change them back to their proper name. What's done here is an acceptable alternative.
Word is Da Red Gobbo has been seen at this glorious battle, many saw him slain a dozen time but many more saw him RISE again thirteen times. RISE like the gentle Gnoblar who shall no longer suffer from the noxious greed of Greasus Goldtooth! RISE my green brethren, you have nothing to lose but your chains but a whole world to gain! HOLD THE LINE Da Kommitte is watching!
In my opinion, the modder should implement the sky titan... Not only would it give the Gnoblar the best possible giant to help balance the roster but I could see it working in lore... The sky titans' collapse is not very well documented however judging by the size of the cannons that we see in Warhammer 3 (supposedly mounted to the fortifications themselves originally) I have always felt that the Gnoblar was a well-treated pet to the sky titan... Long after all the sky titans were supposedly destroyed 1 showed up and attacked the ogres... what if some went to go live in the mountains of their ancestors with the help of the gnoblars they never would have been found... then the gnoblar we know today devolved similarly to yeti!?!?!
@@doubledee8677 even though the ogres believed the sky titans in the area were devoured (or possibly some "unhitched their castles and flew away as according to the only reliable source we currently have) I've seen the skeletons of these sky titans in lore and they had no way of operating one of the cannons the ogres claim is of sky titan make... so either they were so advanced that they had self-operating mounted cannons on their fortification designed for what I would imagine wouldn't be larger then a small family in terms of number (seems unlikely and if true suggests an incredible amount of technology and ingenuity meaning that they prob did just fly away) or that they had some kind of smaller helper and I couldn't find much on the origin of the gnoblar ... if you could find a more logical explanation for the cannons the ogres shoulder mount in ww3 id love to hear it.
Are you talking about the Leadbelcher cannons? Those are looted from humans and bought from chorfs, has nothing to do with Skytitans. Gnoblars are a subspeci of Greenskins, that's it, that's their origin.
@@GrassMudHorseLand hey sorry about that. I actually did confuse the lore on the iron blaster with the lead belchers... I still maintain that the cannon is too small to have been operated by the sky titans in a traditional sense
Just imagine this little idiots lining up with their best friends as their mounts against blood knights. Wearing cauldrons as helmets and lances made of scrap. Nevertheless believing in their little hearts, that they can beat the shit out of a blood vampire knight. Adorable little bastards.
you can still make it work, but naturally it wont be as strong. their killing power is still very good, they just arent as tanky as they used to be because less models/hp
@@milkandcookiesTW man I guess I assume millions. I feel considering how they fight and how the ogres regularly treat/eat them they must breed super quickly and in large numbers. Are they fungus derived like green skins? Or do they make babies the animal way? These are the important questions I need answers too indiepride.
