What did Bo Jackson do besides play football and baseball. Bo was not a track star or even a gold medalist. There are a lot athletes who play football and baseball but not to win gold medals in the olympics
Thorpe was more versatile but Bo's athleticism made him so overconfident that he became lazy enough not to train as much as the sports demanded and so unfortunately led to him getting hurt. .. he thought he was bad until someone who thought otherwise grabbed him and took the arrogance out of him.
Athletes today are taller and that's just all you got. Stronger and faster, that's something you gotta prove, plus the jumping to and along with science and the advancements of technology and film and other stuff, well of course a man from the 1980s is gonna have to better than a man from the 1910s, just like how a man from the 2020s has it much easier and better than a man from the 1980s ever will have it.
