I love this piece of History. Even though Jim's life is full of strife, he doesn't come off as being a victim. He comes off as being a hero. Had something to be proud of.

Thorpe - my hero, as an athlete , and human, since childhood, and more so , as I age, and learn more. Amazing human, and, female counterpart, Babe Zaharias.

Whenever I used to drive down I-44, I'd pass the 'Sac And Fox' sign. I'd think of Jim Thorpe, each and every time. If anyone were in the car, I'd say something out loud.

The NFL has declared that they do not recognize WA-THO-HUK's touchdowns because they happened before the establishment of their historical records. Despite this, many newspaper articles have recorded the scores, but the NFL chooses to ignore these reports.

I'm extremely proud of my Cherokee Indian Heritage - I'm also pragmatic - Question: What would've happened if, say , Russia or China - Hitler for God's sake - what if one of these or even Mexico - It was the Mexican government who slaughtered Geronimo's family - People need to understand laws of nature - human nature - North America was going to be discovered and colonized by someone - When you look at the alternatives - Peope also don't talk about facts - Its s fact American Indians of various tribal colonies - never cooperated with each other - Indian scouts were plentiful - If it wasn't the English , it would have been most certainly a more harsh regime - So quit making $$ by criticizing whitey - Because its bullshit
