The Greatest Book On GRIEF EVER! w/ Dr. Peter Kreeft

YES! My husband has been incredibly touched by A Severe Mercy and is writing a 2 act rock opera based on it. He loves to quote his poetry.

My friends had a copy of A Severe Mercy and I read it when I was staying at their house. Made me cry as well. It's a Greek Tragedy for sure.

I read "A Severe Mercy" many years ago while I was still in college. I can't even describe the profound effect it had on me. Was that boat the one and only "Grey Goose"???? Dante's "La Vita Nuova" is heart-wrenching, as well.

“God’s Grandeur” by Gerard Manley Hopkins has always been one of my favorites.

Oh my goodness. I just read this book for The Well Read Mom two months ago. It also really made me cry.

I see you have a picture of his Eminence CARDINAL George Pell .....I am an old boy of Christian Brothers High School St. Mary's Cathedral here in Sydney Australia , as an alter boy who has serve many Masses with Cardinal Pell , it brings back many beautiful memories of a genuine Holy man. ......... I sincerely hope , it will eventually lead to his sainhood. I am now a Trad-Catholic & I LOVE the LATIN the lanuage SATAN hates. Thanks to many of my Irish Christian Brothers teachers.
