As a school you guys really should redo this video. Although he did really well. He missed very important components of the brake check test. And that’s the most important part of the entire thing because if you don’t get that in order you fail in the state of Nevada. And if any of you are watching this video and are in the state of Nevada do not follow him on the brake test. Number one the first test you will do is called the service brake air leak test, TWO low air pressure warning buzzer test, three tractor and trailer emergency brake test, FOUR tractor parking brake tug test, Five trailer parking brake tug test and number six is service break 5 mile stop test.

If any of you are watching this that are in the Vegas area that are looking for a school to go to. Go to this school! I sure wish that I did. I went to TRUCK U and what a shit show it was there!!

You didn't mention anything about your safety equipment.. fire hydrant, triangles, and spare fuses. Also need to make sure that spring brakes are applied when you enter the truck and before starting the inspection. Also your calling your TRACTOR parking (Yellow) brake the TRAILER BRAKE. That would get your failed with an inspector. Also the tug test was very confusing. You said test your Trailer brakes on both tests and you said release trailer brakes each time. If your testing your trailer brake, shouldn't you have the trailer brake applied so you can test if it's going to hold the vehicle from moving forward. Also how come you didn't test the hand brake, to make sure your Trailer Service brakes are working properly and able to stop a moving vehicle and don't get on the road with only Tractor service brakes working hauling a heavy load. Gotta make sure those trailer service brakes are being applied while moving.

You do your outside pre trip first and then the last thing you do before you do the actual drive test is the in cab inspection..not the other way around like this. This video is the worst. Super confusing, fumbling over his words, says the wrong numbers, wrong sequences. It says alot about this school that they even released this. I went to this school, and the hardest part of it was making sense of this video.
