Jackson I'd say is the one most people sleep on. But I think he's my favorite, then Charlie, Kaya, then Andrew. I'd put Andrew lower if I could, he's just so insufferable he's so "Reddit cringe" which is hilarious because he rips on Reddit lol
Wolverine definitely does a lot of stealth in the comics. He has a heightened sense of smell and is an expert tracker. As good as Wolverine's healing factor is, he can still be knocked out by physical force or chemicals like tranquilizer darts. Sure he's a great berserker when he needs to be, but he's great at stealth too.
but he can literally be destroyed down to the bone if not more and will still regenerate. personally im a fatal attraction wolverine fan. i like it when hes the little guy with funky bones claws lol
I was scrolling hoping to find this comment, lol. Even in comics where knocking him out or hitting him with the tranq doesn't work as well, Wolverine still has reasons to do something stealthily. Yes he can rush into a room full of gunmen and cut loose, but that's also a big screaming alert for the enemy that the X-Men are here, or that Wolverine is here to kill the big bad, so it's time to flee the reach of his claws.
As a canadian aboriginal from the tride the wendigo came from. Im ojibwe and cree(wendigo comes from the algonquin tribes. Both ojibwe and cree are algonqiuns i believe) My culture was nearly erased. I dont care who tells our stories or why they do. I just want more people to know them. Theres not many Natives anymore. I would love for our dying culture to be brought back to life. And if that means letting other races join in thats fine by me. Its super messed up and racist to attack someone for liking something based purely off of race. It just goes to show how the people on the "good side" only care for your skin tone and nothing more. I'm not a person to them. Im just another brown dude they can speak for.
That's the most odd part. These are the same people that rave about how racism is the biggest problem in the world while being racist themselves? "You can't cover this because you're white and that's appropriation," doesn't sound very inclusive now does it? As for you and your culture, me and my buddies love the story and history behind the Wendigo and other native legends and I like to think that everyone else in the world that is intruiged by them feels the same.
@@eggy7346 I don't think that's racism, because telling a bully to stop pretending to be nice also wouldn't be called bullying. While I think the uproar is over nothing, I also wouldn't go as far as pulling a "well achhtually".
It also sounds EXTREMELY pretencious that no one can use your culture? even in a non-derogatory way. even speaking the word wendigo is some sort of slur to sensitive natives. imagine if a white dude said to a black guy he can't use santa because it's "Special" and "Sacred". it's also hypocritical since I'm 99% sure all natives in america still consume culture that isn't their own. to a non-american it just sounds like a 1st world bastard complaining their ice cream fell on the curb. also a known culture is a respected culture. Islam and Muslim and Bhuddist beleifs aren't known in america. thus they are misreperesented more, or just are outright unknown.
Wow quite an amazing and eye opening comment. My favorite part was when you used specific details, provided evidence, and totally didn’t generalize your feeling statements and provided it as fact because you have a mentally Ill obsession with whatever video game/tv show/cum sock he made fun of. This was quite insightful
@ayyladin352 I know this is literally the person talking about eating shit and getting updoots like they were making fun of in this vid. Someone can spit such a stupid opinion out and get likes because other morons found the comment and liked it too.
That's why he's so insufferable and annoying to listen to. He'll never take the L, he always has to have the last word, and he always comes up with some dumb ass quipy comment
andrew the kinda guy to have only superficial knowledge in most topics but confidently presumes he is the smartest person in any room he walks into redditor behaviour
Andrew, as a Chicago native, I can 100% tell you that man was homeless and had made that toilet his "squat" and felt he had more claim to it than you. Avoid public shitters and only use the code-locked ones at Dunkin & Starbucks.
I think the stealth scenes will work by Wolverine having to save hostages, and if he’s caught, they get killed, so he has to rescue them without being seen.
If the stealth is anything like gotham knights, I'd much rather not play that. I'm honestly tired of stealth. It kinda just makes it so on higher difficulties(and my basement dwelling ass always plays the highest difficulty) you have to stealth. I'm not bad at these games so when I fight a big group i just walk through them. It's only fun to stealth because the gameplay for non stealth is boring. Especially in spider man where the hardest difficulty feels like it's made for 5 year olds. Like no wonder people like it. The gameplay is so easy. They can shut their brain off and let the game play its self
Morality system where not caring about civilian casualties makes wolverine become more animalistic (cause that's arguably the version your playing) locking off abilities he has when he's not on demon time (mabey his tracking power gets changed so he can only see things he gets the scent of directly instead of whatever version of detective mode they have) would be the best way to do it
To be fair Wolverine is unironically incredible at whatever the writers need him to be at the time. And no, it's not every superhero ever. This is a problem with comics but there are superheroes that have consistent power scaling across multiple stories. Invincible comes to mind.
The 2nd issue of Wolverine was all about him infiltrating a conference and they made it clear it was one of his specialties. They established it early that he was good at stealth.
The lack of knowledge and not knowing that wolverine wild. Hes is amazing at stealth and has been on multiple stealth special opps groups... He's been made/trained to be an ultimate assassin.
Well tbf, his stealth abilities have never really been shown outside of the comics and maybe the 90's show. He's always been shown as the unga bunga muscle guy mowing everyone down in front of him.
X-men 2, night school scene, he could be what batman would be in stealth missions, with gadgets and now with blades, plus he is going to be short i hope like in the comics@@FeiFongWang
@@dongordon2754the Arkham games perfected the stealth formula and kept making it better but it seems like Insomniac just tried to copy that and dumb it down to be easier for the kids that watch skibidi toilet. I really hope they at least make it fun in wolverine this time but knowing how their lead writer responds to criticism I'm not exactly expecting much
It's weird but I kinda enjoy when two youtubers or streamers that I know turn out to be friends irl and I wouldn't expect it. Find it even refreshing when they don't even do content, they are just friends.
Tbf unless your into his comics his stealth is never really shown. In most of his mainstream appearances he's just big dumb muscly violent guy, kinda hard to be upset at them about it just because they only know Wolverine from his/ the x-men movies, when only people who read marvel comics are actually gonna know how he should be being portrayed.
Blame mainstream media. Wolverine is really only stealthy in the comics. It's like how when Spider-man 2001 came out and everyone thought Spider-mans webs were organic and not from web shooters.
Honestly I'm surprised Charlie was the one so opposed to talking about it considering him and Wendigoon are friends, you'd think he'd want to use his platform to back his boy without being basically forced to by Jackson.
@@chiefbeef9905Did I miss something? Charlie seemed to dismiss the people going at Wendigoon as worthless, even calling them freaks. I think its' fair, when you aren't in the loop all of it does just look insane at a glance.

Okay Andrew makes good points about the Spider-Man games having pointless parts, but those parts are literally non-existent in normal gameplay, they’re just there to be in between fights. That mashing Triangle to stop a car, that’s a 5 second period between chasing down the car and fighting the occupants of said car, and chasing the cars is pretty fun because web swinging is fun, and that’s all chasing the car is. The combat is a ton of fun and the ways you can make use of all Spider-Man’s tricks and gadgets are pretty creative and juggling a crook in the air while you beat the piss out of him will always be hilarious. The stealth parts are kinda tedious after a while, but there’s literally like 3 missions in the entire first game that have mandatory stealth, get through those and the other 20 hours of gameplay will still be a ton of fun.
Say what you want about those games' cutscenes, but they were the result of a director's vision and didn't have the Mouse breathing down their necks to sand away anything that might be unique
@@coheteos it's not. As someone who grew up with the gamecube era spiderman games these are what I always wanted for modern spiderman. You may not like it but you're in the minority here
By far and away the saddest part of the Insomniac hack is that it reveals they do not, despite their teasing over the years, have a Resistance reboot coming. I cry intensely
its that good huh? i bought the new robocop and since terminator resistance keeps getting suggested and it looks so fucking good. it must be based on what you are saying. thank you
Related poop story: we had a serial pooper in middle school who for 3 years straight would periodically go to the bathroom and smear shit on the walls. Believe it or not they got away with it until the last year of middle school where I think they got caught but the identity was kept secret from the rest of the school. I only moved to the school in my 8th grade year and had been told it was going on for years before I moved. Also it was a VERY rural small town so they didn’t have the means to do a whole investigation to find the serial pooper
I can't think of anything about wolverine's powers that make him hard to detect. He just has a big sniffer and is hard to kill and has swords in his arms. His stealth feats are a result of plot armor as far as I can tell.
@@dongordon2754 It is not about his powers. He is a genuinely trained assassin in the comics and has decades of experience on account of his long life time. He has extremely enhanced senses that allow for him to notice people before they notice him. He is not supernaturally stealthy due to any super power in specific, but because of his exceptional training and mutant senses. So not only he does have a power that helps, he also has actual professional training and experience and in assassination, infiltration and tracking. All of those things are not only canon, but are prevalent in his comics and important arcs of his story.
@@naosou921 thanks for the explanation! I never got around to seeing Logan and I haven't seen much other Wolverine media at all since I don't read comics so I only really know about his powers themselves. It seems like he could be pretty interesting in stealth gameplay that emulates the original splinter cell or something of that nature.
@@dongordon2754 he's like 3 feet tall, that's the best superpower for stealth on a serious note though, he was already in that kind of thing before he got his enhancements so he's crazy experienced
Wolverine is amazing at stealth. He has enhanced smell, hearing and sight. Ultra sharp claws allow him to silence enemies and he did recieve stealth training. Wilverines character is a tracking character that is good with stealth AND has regeneration abilities to help support him if he makes mistakes during fighting. Remember that logan relies on pure aggression in fights whilst he's more calculated in stealth.
I agree his character fits jussst perfect for stealth. And if stealth fails? Whip out the claws and rip people apart until no one is around to spot you!
It is somewhat hypocritical to see them talk about how people shouldn't judge the Wolverine game this early, then immediately go into criticizing the stealth aspects of the gameplay without any story context of why it's occurring. Because, you know, it's an early development build.
They were complaining about people saying unfinished animation looking bad. One is like complaining because an uncooked chicken tastes raw while the other is like complaining because the chef is adding an ingredient they don’t like.
@@benkersten1705No, it would be more like seeing the chef add an ingredient and complaining before you even see how the ingredient mix and taste within the dish.
While I don't think Wendigoon is in any danger of being canceled, don't be surprised when RU-vid and most other social media platforms don't come to his help when he needs it. (Like unfair strikes on a video or something.) Christian, gun-loving, and had the username "BoogalooBoy?" Call me a conspiracy theorist, but the big platforms won't be on his side if anything happens.
The only weird thing I had with wendigoon was his singular obsession with the Kyle rittenhouse trial despite him saying he was apolitical at the time. I love his content but seeing that made me feel weird. I think he got caught up in his love for guns or something bc I really don't think he's any kind of right wing freak
Guys, Wendigoon is being cancelled for his ties to the Boogaloo Boys, a far right extremist group, and for the fact that he heavily downplayed religious trauma saying people who have it are overreacting. He has even gone on record saying that some genocide is okay like when God did it in the bible.
Wolverine actually uses stealth quite a bit. In the OG XMen comics there's multiple scenes with him showing off stealth skills. He would "hunt" around XMen mansion by sneaking up to deer and touching them without spooking them... That's without mentioning all the other stealth shit his character has done.
@@thecoedbutcher52I think your overexaggerating how much of the game you spend in cutscenes. Like I agree there are far better ways to tell a story that actually involve gameplay, you spend maybe 10% of the game at absolute most in cutscenes. Maybe cuz their boring af compared to playing the game so they feel longer but it's far from a Telltale/bandersnatch experience
CHARLIE I FEEL YOU. I went to my first concert and was very hyped for it, waited for an entire year. And when I went, there were a bunch of old people who all just casually stood around and even gave *me* weird looks for dancing and jumping to the music! It was so sad to see the band desperately try and hype the audience up, only for them to not be doing anything, extremely disappointing.
That’s so tragic. I’ve had that happen at a rave before and it was kind of miserable. Otherwise, metal concerts are usually pretty hype like Andrew said
I remember back in elementary the same thing happened in the urinal and someone called it 'taking a flying monkey in the urinal'. That always stuck with me! 😂
Can Andrew not let Jackson have a single opinion? Like Andrew is doing EXACTLY what Andrew is fighting "agaisnt" ie: Not letting people ahve opinions. Jackson: Man its annoying that a few thousand people wont let wendigoon be Andrew: what you mean? Whats annoying abiut it? Its not annoying. Just ignore them. Like shut up man, thats not the point snd not what Jackson is saying, hes just saying he csnt believe/doesnt understand why people care about things that dont change the quality of a person
Couldnt agree more, Andrew and Kaya have become absolutely insufferable to listen to imo, and you can genuinely see Charlie has just given up and lost interest in these podcasts. Compare it to the new podcast he's doing with just Jackson and Wendigoon where he frequently speaks and gives input to the conversation and actually seems to be having fun and laughing. Andrew and Kaya have destroyed this podcast for me. every ep is Andrew disagreeing with everyone yet hes always right even though he knows nothing about the topic.
It’s not that long during the episode he’s brazenly being incorrect lol. But I get it. I’ve had to tap out on episodes because of Kaya’s opinions coming real close to sexism/racism

Criticism RARELY stems from jealousy for normal everyday people. The suggestion that it does makes sense on paper but you rarely see it in reality with regular people. It is common with people that have celebrity level success however.
I would agree that, when it’s something about a kind of borderline messed-up take or that they’re presenting their take as fact; those instances aren’t jealousy. At least I would make the argument that a lot of the criticism of people like Andrew brazenly saying incorrect things or Kaya having said some borderline sexist/racist shit before, not to mention he’s a bit of a contrarian and most of his opinions seem to be whatever the opposite of the norm is -- those are all legitimate criticisms and for anyone to say it’s jealousy or it’s not based in substance is disingenuous
A sweet Wolverine mechanic would be intentionally taking damage, but balancing it so you don’t take too much and die. Get your damage meter at a high level and Wolverine starts moving and attacking faster. Like an adrenaline meter.
@@Greendayfan666GD Calling Kaya's opinions "milquetoast" is ridiculous, the brother is a walking contrarian, nothing inherently wrong with it but nearly every opinion he has is against the majority.
Stealth makes sense for Wolverine, actually. Because his healing factor can be overloaded, which I'm sure is going to be a part of the game. It sounds like you guys want a Wolverine dynasty warriors 😂
but the point of having stealth is to be safe whilst maximizing efficiency in combat, a good example for this is the Punisher (He's loud but still stealthy), it doesn't make sense when a character can regenerate from a single atom, gets into constant fight with heroes like Hulk all the time, and can slice up enemies like butter. Characters like Wolverine is more of a mediator type, the style of combat is very loud and a "come in, come out" style of combat
Sometimes I realize the boys have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about. Wolverine is one of the sneakiest characters in the marvel comics. Whether it’s US, Japan or even Madripoor
I’m going to change your experience of this podcast and I apologize but: every time something is incorrectly stated, see who was the one who said it first. It’s usually Andrew and Kaya
I hope Wolverine has different fighting skill trees. He is a martial artist and trained himself to fight non-lethally. It would be cool to mix combos with and without claws whenever you want.
Theres like dozens of reasons why Wolverine might have to use stealth. Hostages and/or the person/people hes working with or trying to help would die if they took a bullet, someones got a bomb, they're using weapons that can actually damage him. And yeah, he's usually out in the open, but he has been and can be stealthy. And in terms of why games have stealth: people like being immersed. If you HAVE to punch your way through EVERY situation it becomes less fun. Having stealth changes it up. It's one of those "if you don't like it don't use it" mechanics. It just seems like complaining to complain.
Or he's in a situation where detection incriminate his allies because it is a black-op. My favorite Splinter Cell missions were ones where you had to Ghost the whole thing because of potential diplomatic incidents.
wolverine is like 3 feet tall and has similar sensitivity to noise and smell like sabretooth I believe, dude makes a great stealth tracker in the comics. kind of disagree with andrew's take on spidey's gameplay, but it could for sure be improved. to this day i'm surprised no one's tried to replicate and refine Web Of Shadows' combat system, weaving between the red and black suit for combos and switching from ground to wall combat on a whim was fun af.
wasn't wolverine like in the cia or special forces or some shit? feels like stealth makes sense for him if it's a hostage situation, not to mention his sense of smell being useful for tracking a specific target down.
I feel like the only way the stealth angle would work in a Wolverine game would be if you were caught others would be in danger like hostages and such so if u went wild they would just taken out
Found this channel through being a fan of Wendigoon and Charlie. I watched all the Red Thread up to this point and loved them, so I decided to check out the other podcast. Wow, this was hard to listen to. I don't know who it is or if it is both Kaya and Andrew, but they are awful. At least one of either Kaya or Andrew seem like such an insufferable jerk. I can't stand them, and I'll stick to the Red Thread as long as these guys are here.
Web swinging and tapping the button prompt is bad gameplay and is barley gameplay in the first place. There mobile games with more actual gameplay to them then Spiderman 2. If I wanted to watch Spiderman kick venoms ass I'd watch the movie. But I get it. Spiderman is such an easy game even on the hardest difficulty It must he a power fantasy type thing. Because to me it feels like I'm a God fighting children. It's just boring.

So they removed each individual dook, wrapped them up, and placed them back in the toilet. Some bizarre shit. No pun intended.
Hey guys, I'm a huge fan of the podcast and also a huge fan of Stray Kids. I'm glad you enjoyed the show, Jackson. They make great music. I never thought my 2 worlds would collide like this, lol.
Jackson just wanted to protect his friend, wendigoon. I know it's kind of the thing to shit on Jackson but the whole bit about giving it attention was too much.
Two reasons I can think of why James Howlett does stealth: 1. Professor X wants a World where mutants and humans co-exist, since Wolverine is associated with him, he can't let it be known willy-nilly that he is there everytime he is infiltrating a base even if what he is doing is ultimately just, cause politics and PR is a thing. 2. Even though he heals and is virtually immortal, it still hurts him and it can take time, he still would want to minimize damage that he could take at a time, so the less attention, the less lead and knives he has to face, keeping him agile and nimble at all time throughout his current mission.
Jackson making fun of people making fun of unfinished Wolverine and then they proceed to attack the same unfinished for potential stealth missions. Stealth in stuff like Spiderman, BOTW, ect is just an option. If you want to play a potentially harder version for yourself. Obviosuly
I lost a ton of friends over covid because they all decided to start dropping the hard R whenever we hung out. I'm honestly pretty lonely these days because of it but it was such a shell shocker and no matter what I said they went all "free speech" on me so eventually I stopped coming around. These are people I knew for almost 20 years. I'm not sure if I didn't notice the signs or if their opinions or attitude changed but one way or another it was one of the hardest things I've ever done and I'm still struggling to move on from those friends I grew up with and meet new people.

You’re not reading into anything he definitely hates these guys, that’s why he’s still on a podcast with them and making even more content with them on the side too.
With regards to paying ransomware groups, it depends on the case. Usually, an organization would want to pay if the data is VERY valuable and/or they want their environment to get decrypted so that they can start going back to normal operations. Even more surprising, these ransomware groups tend (I want to say 95% of the time) to stay true to their word. Usually, when you pay for the decryptor and deletion of stolen data, they will provide you with a decryptor and a deletion log of the files deleted. Heck, some ransomware groups even have a "customer service" line where you can get help if the decryptor isn't actually decrypting certain items. It is a business. They need to have a reputation that they stay true to their word in order to ensure their victims pay. Obviously, paying the ransom is not preferred, but let's say you're a school district or a hospital. Would you want all of that student/patient data out there? There are also times where the threat actor is pulling bullshit out of their ass saying they took 100 GB of data when they actually took less than 1GB. So, its always important to do a digital forensic investigation before determining what to do with the ransomware group.
Wolverine is a veteran soldier who was in a black ops team for a while. Hes short, agile, and actually great at stealth. Not to mention his enhanced senses (notably super scent) makes him being stealthy and tracking people more effective
Just know you definitely don’t pay ransoms unless it’s immediately going to save lives. You don’t just do it, any system administrator will tell you to absolutely never pay the ransom, you don’t negotiate with terrorist
