A well made show that attracted some great stars of the day: Michael Strong, Joanne Dru, Lloyd Bochner, Richard Anderson, Frank Marth. All of them gave the series a real sense of gravitas. Shame only 26 were made, but at least we all have those. Thanks for the upload.
The fake Green Hornet is missing the most important part of the Green Hornet's arsenal and that is a REAL KATO!!!!!!! Lol!!!!! To bad he didn't have a fake Kato because the fight between a Fake Kato and the Real Kato would be something to really look forward too!!!!! Wow!!!!!
An interesting cliff-hanger ... and no need for it to be "action-packed" ... it seems a logical place to break the story. The producers originally wanted to produce a one-hour show, and the program was originally announced as an hour. Perhaps that's why the story plays out this way.
For anyone interested LLOYD Gough (A.K.A. Mike AXFORD) was on a episode of the 1967 tv series Mannix. The name of the episode is called Turn Every Stone.
Episodes like this highlight how Scanlon and Reid would end up on opposite sides one day. Reid as The Green Hornet is brutal and his results are final. Great show. Someone should tell Greg Berlanti he needs to add this show to his list.

When Brit went to attend that party he should have had Kato and Black Beauty nearby and using the drone to see if the fake Black Beauty shows up and then attack it!!!! Something tells me Batman (Adam West) would have had done something to that affect!!!
There have been situations where Kato has been in costume where Britt has not. That would have been a good idea, but the writers wanted a two-parter so we got this.

yes Green Hornet came out on the radio show back in 1936 and didn't get his own comic til 1940 Batman came out in 1939. So if you think about it The Hornet was the original "Dark Knight" lol
Feels weird to basically see the fake Green Hornet behind the wheel of a Black Beauty, instead of in the back seat. Proof that no one comes close to matching Kato.

Not me either. The show is awesome quality. Perhaps you mean this ep doesn`t feature Lee so much compared to the rest, but that`s obvious. It`s someone else posing as the Green Hornet.
