@@mohamedabdelhamed2677 At first yes then my team asked that I halt and wait for them to get in the city and push the enemy back. Theory was once Averni and Carthage were inside and making their way towards me, the enemy would fall back and we would fight it out at the victory point. When it became clear their attack was defeated I resumed my own attack. Up until then I was just trying to be a thorn in the defenders side trying to distract them from my allies a little.
@@SCOUTSOFENTERTAINMENT you guys played it smart and were communicating with each other, clearly, they did. I am sure Boii is the most frustrated player amount them all.
Great battle, i think Mia announced it in one of your early streams. I am pretty sure, those elephants wanted to hide inside that temple building and not behind, but the high priest got mad at them and kicked them out. Mia should rename herself to Elephant Queen. In total the defenders just made a huge hammer and anvil and great placement of choke points.
Lots of mistakes were made on behalf of the attackers. I found myself quite irritated watching Carthage turn it’s spears around to run with elephants at their backs. Then Arverni. Oof. That being said, I’ve made plenty of mistakes myself. Great game and fun match to watch either way. Great commentary as usual Joe. Always a good time
Great replay. Close victory? Wasn't even close. Watching your videos for way over year now and loving it but this one, with elephants charge was really exiting. Cartage panicking and ivernii letting second unit to get to back of his troops decided outcome. Great job Mia. Thanks Joe. You never disappoint bud
Elephants elephants run for your life😂 this is just incredible how those guys died. It's so easy to deal with elephants 🤷 at least at early stages of game when every unit has range weapon. This was real panic
Agree about cartage but ivernii just ignored second elephants unit. They went past oathsworn to the back line of his troops. Reacted way too late. 1600 kills for two units - epic.
Hell of a fight dude first the defenders were super defensive but after defender were super aggressive really enjoyed Joe you make really good replays and your comentry is also good dude. Great job Joe..
Why the attacking archers didnt used the houses to go and shoot from the roofs ? There 3 of those houses where you can let youre rachers been safe from elefants. 1 moment averni archers could have running into that building when the elepahnts came there way??? they would have been safe from those elefants.... Nice game , but the lac of teamwork killed the attackers . Peltasts are cheap and a good remedie and fire arrows. Dont panic if you see elephants comming youre way, just deal with them ! react quickly, units who still have there peltasts in the front. The speed of youre reactios decide the outcomme ! ! ! Those moments you can separate the good from average players ! !
Not all will be close, there will be battles where people get crushed. Also, I do not watch replays before I record them. Thank you for your input though.
dam i dont know this game to paly would like to learn and maybe 1 day i will but this was almost one sided fight atackers got wiped so for those elephants only arrows and javelins?? no horses??
