Me very much I loved that game I played it when I was young now I’m 18 in 6 months I would love it if rockstar games made a remastered version of the game. Remember when burnout paradise got a remastered version I loved that game I even played the original game when I was younger so if burnout paradise got a remastered version witch it’s out gta 4 needs to get a remaster

A remastered GTA IV or Liberty city stories would be a success as is, no shark cards, no bs updates . The gritty storylines and atmosphere from all different characters is still a masterpiece, if they do add anything to it, it should involve all the characters working together and then separating, giving a deeper look on what happened to them later on .

I agree about GTA 4, but Liberty City Stories? A lot of people dislike the game because most of the mechanics were ripped off GTA 3 and not everyone knows this game, despite being available on PS3, android/IOS, PS2, PSP and PC through emulators. Both GTAs Stories should be a collection separated from the trilogy

We seen Niko and Johnny working together and we already know what had happened to both of them. Niko disappeared off the face of the universe and Johnny died the only left for question is Luis. All in all GTA 4 was a trilogy but was never confirmed as so with it being a 3 game series with different stories revolving around the first game

Rockstar actually had plans to remaster IV but because how bad the definitive edition was it did not happen according to some sources. Kinda sad but also no one would like a sloppy remastered game anymore.

I'm doing this. The only limitations is that the port sucks ass and I need to figure out how to use fast man's limit adjuster to correctly compensate. I already did almost the whole first apartment in 4k.

@@robertocurrlos7470 nah PS3’s architecture is very different than the PS4 and PS5 architecture unless Sony makes an PS3 emulator for the PS5 or R* themselves makes an GTA4 Remaster For now the way to play this game in 4K60 is on Xbox Series X and PC

i'd love a gta4 remaster , it was upsetting that you could'nt even play the ps3 copy on the ps4. gta 4 was such an amazing game but it defiantly looks dated, so a remaster with some upgraded graphics and texture upscales would be nice

when you die, the screen stays white. you can watch your killcam for longer than before. this is exactly what the community wanted when the game fist came out, but I guess in 2023 its ok lol

R* didn't do GTA DE trilogy themselves though and they didn't bother to check GSG's work but unlike others i enjoy the trilogy and thus in GTA 3 DE and VC DE I have around 100 or so hours of playtime

Yeh I kinda liked being at least able to play them since I had been looking for the San Andreas remaster for Xbox 360 but it just no longer exists in stores and just some weeks later I got the ability to play all of them in the Diffinitive Edition

If they bring GTA back to Liberty City again I'd have no problem with that. The fact that Rockstar is based out of NY and got the vibe down so well. Especially with the Ballad DLC. I'd be speechless.

GTA 4 is my favorite gta by FAR, I’m only 16 and I grew up on Xbox one and gta 5, but about a year ago I got gta 4 and I’ve completed the whole game and still play multiplayer. It’s so fun

Eh, Definitive edition looked fine to me with welcome changes for the modern era but a remaster doesn't always mean they're gonna end the original models and replace them with new ones as that's expensive. That and how many of the voice actors in the games in the definitive edition are even alive? Much less how many of them are physically up to the task of wearing a motion capture suit? IF Rockstar is to remaster GTA 4 it'll most likely be after GTA 7 RELEASES and before the 8th installment at that to where you'd have GTA 4, 5 and 6 remastered.. if they remastered 3 games previously then they wanna remaster 3 more games that are mainline down the road.

I'd love to see a GTA 4 remaster for new & last gen consoles. Having to take out my PS3 everytime I want to play the game is kind of annoying, because I need to get over a bunch of hurdles just to turn on the console. Honestly, there isn't much wrong with GTA 4 & it's expansions, the only thing they might change is adding all DLC vehicles & weapons to base GTA 4, & possibly making TLaD & TBoGT function like GTA 5 where you switch characters (even if that takes some more work), & of course bringing back the Online mode & refining it. I'd probably pay at maximum $20, this would be a remaster of a game from 2008, almost 15 years ago, so I'm not exactly looking to spend the price of a brand new game for it *cough cough GTA Trilogy: The Defective Edition*.

For christ's sake I just want a proper pc port of GTA 4 with all the original music. No bullshit music removal, stuttering, lagging, etc. Just take the original 360 port of the game and make it into an equally well performing pc port. Rockstar will never get my forgiveness for making the greatest games every and then giving them all shitty pc ports, other than maybe GTA 5 and RDR2. Is it really that hard for a 2008 game to run well on modern machines??? Imagine how great the game would look in 2023 if it was properly ported to pc.

It would be stunning a new Liberty City GTA, that we can play with Claude, Niko, and (A woman). Like a post-GTA III and IV, based on the actual contemporary world. With that same gritty and melancholic vibe from GTA III, although with photorealistic graphics with realistic weather. With Head Radio, MSX FM Drum & Bass, and others.

I dont believe this was an update to protect the source code, rather a protection update because of what was happening in gta5 online and hacker, and they updated multiple of their titles with security, rather than source code protection.

that would literally be a good idea from R* because V is more hardware intensive and Switch isn't very high power. the smaller more city focused map would be better for such an experience, and not to mention if being rewritten for another platform they could actually optimize the game for once, and also dumb down or notch up the graphics depending on what works.

I think gta 4 might have some things in the source code that actually will get used for gta 6.. they just copy a bit of code from gta4 and use it for gta6 and change it here and there.. so yeah covering their asses and locking things down in gta 4 makes sense

Removing multiplayer is so bad, I still have the OG discs of gta 4 and eflc, multiplayer was the best, everyone at the airport drag racing and roleplaying cops and robbers with mods and simple native trainer, good memories as a 11 year old kid😂, my gt520 barely ran gta4

Love how after Definitive Edition Rockstar said "no more remasters" because of sales. And why were those sales so low? Cause of Rockstar and their god awful attempt to remaster 3, Vice City and San Andreas. It's entirely their fault and they have no one blame but themselves.

I played it on the Xbox 360 today, and god it's so much better on console, ik peole like PC more but the visuals are insanely broken on PC, like the game looks so dried and matte on PC, on the 360 it's just as reflective as GTA 5 is. All the original sound tracks are on the original aswell, none of that missing music bs.

@@L321 I just saw this again after a month and realized i didnt watch the whole video, Rockstar removed online from newer patches of gta 4, but somehow, people actually have manipulated the gta 4 multiplayer on pc to work with the original games for windows live version. So this is probably why they decided to do that.

GTA IV would benefit from a remaster mainly to fix some issues like that glitch on the last mission. Other than that i don't think it needs a remake, maybe when the game turns 20 years old in 2028 but that's unlikely.

Ok i have theory here it goes. Remember when rockstar delisted the og games when the "definite edition" came out so you could not buy the old versions of the games. My thoery is that gta 4 remastered is coming and they are breaking gta 4 so that in order to play gta 4 without bugs you will have to buy the remaster. Thanks for taking the time to read this
