I have a 2015 Honeyburst Trad. Love it. The best neck I've ever played on. Love this guitar.

I have the 2015 traditional with the GeForce and brass nut both of those things don’t bother me at all , but the width of the neck being so big still takes me a while to get used to,

The clean bridge really does sound like a Tele on steroids

I agree- that’s what a PAF style pickup should do😊

I have a 2015 traditional I replaced the robot tuners to Grovers this guitar is killer sounding and is beautifully made So all you haters stop hating 2015 and go pick one up and plug it in you may be very happy it’s a Gibson 100 anniversary

They offered 2 versions of the traditional in 2015. The other was a traditional plus which had 57 classic and 57 classic plus. Higher Grade maple top no robot tuners and a regular nut. They did not make as many of those so they are highly sought after and were killer guitars I saw one for sale for 3000 Canadian but it was mint and if I had not just bought a 58 les paul reissue i would have bought it .

Why would I buy a 2015 and have to remove the robot tuners when I could a 2014 traditional which is the exact same guitar same pickups same neck carve but except it has regular tuners and a regular nut . The point for many is that when you pay that much for a guitar you should not have to remove things and make modifications. Why do that when you could just buy a guitar with the features you want and without the ones you don't . Gibson raised the price and then people should pay for mods on top of that? It being gibsons 100th anniversary is irrelevant. That does not make the guitar any better then a 2014 or 2016.. For most it being gibsons 100th anniversary is not a reason to buy the guitar. Should people buy a guitar they don't want or like simply because it's the 100th anniversary. just because people don't like the same guitar you do does not make them haters. I dislike the 2015 gibsons accept for the limited edition trad plus les paul as it has regular tuners and regular nut but I also own 10 gibsons but despite owing 10 gibsons does it make me a hater because I don't like this guitar ? And most of the people you call haters probably own other gibsons from other years. So you are a Gibson Hater if you don't like every guitar they ever made or every year . Does it make me a hater to say I think their QC sucked in 2017 and returned 4 guitar that year because they were junk even though I have owned 15 different gibsons since 2018 and still have 10 ? I am a hater if I say think the 59 tribute neck sounds like mud and yes I have tried this guitar personally several times as well as the 2014 with the same pups even though I think the 59 tribute bridge sounds Fantastic ?. Am I hater if I say the Burstbucker pros suck even though the BB2 and BB3 set are my favorite pickups . Gibson makes many products I love and others I strongly dislike. Does this make me a hater? It's called having different tastes and different exceptions. Nobody needs to buy a 2015 and change the nut and robot tuners to get a great les paul there are many great les Paul's from several different years new and used that sound and play just as good or better then any 2015 model. The 100th anniversary does not make these guitar marginally better then may other

@@adamwatson69162015 also had deeper carving on the top, 59 tribute pickups, 59 wiring, thicker wiring, better cable jack, removable click on pickgaurd, titanium bridge, free titanium nut upgrade, no relief on the body. I have four Gibson les pauls like this one the best

the only thing that puts me off that year and model is the weird "les paul 100" sguigley logo on the headstock ...and of course the weird robot tuners im currently saving for my first ever real les paul after 30 years of playing....going for a standard or classic..used obviously.

I got one in Ocean Blue. The neck is very thick and the nut wide, so it isn't going to be to everyone's taste. I replaced the zero brass nut with a GraphTech one and i replaced the G-Force system with Hipshot Open Gear locking tuners. The 100 year logo doesn't bother me and the hologram is tucked away on the back, it doesn't bother me. The genuine mother of pearl inlays are beautiiful. The maple top is stunning. The Ocean Blue finish isn't traditional at all but looks very nice nonetheless. The standout features are the pickups and the sustain. It sounds amazing, notes ring out better than on any other guitar I've ever played. If you want an amazing sounding humbucker equipped single body guitar with unbeatable tone and sustain these are right up there.
