It's a shame how much Rockstar cut potentially due to deadlines. They were originally up to 7 legendary gunslingers we were going to meet according to Roger Clark.
@@joe-JM117 Its not headcannon, its in the eyes of the beholder on who is a villain and who is a hero. many consider the gunslinger a hero, but in what world does killing a sheriff make you the hero? Its the individuals decision om the matter, an opinion. You've also spoken a opinion not a fact.
His mission was going to involve us dressing up sharp for a poker game in Tumbleweed. Arthur/John would increasingly insult Heck until he loses it, flips the card table over and both us and him go into deadeye at the same time.
Personally I’m not a big fan of killing off these legendary gunslingers as it just makes Arthur and John the most broken in the verse other than someone like Landon rickets who’s old if there was like an encounter of a gunslinger who had shot Arthur’s gun or hand and told him to leave that would have been cool
@@alboorts yeah that’s just who Arthur is but would be cool for arthur to get humbled a little bit I mean the dude wasn’t even afraid of death back when he was healthy he knows he’s number 1
As Arthur I would definitely duel him, I would love the challenge, and I think Arthur would do great, buttt as myself I would probably not, need practice first
Give him deadeye level six. It would make it to where he can reload in deadeye, and con only leave it when he stops aiming or shoots at his marked targets.
Maybe this will be the next protagonist in the red dead series? Maybe do a before events of 1888-1899 (RDR2), then after events of 1907 (RDR1)? Would be pretty cool for rockstar to expand on the built in universe, like how they always do with gta. Build it all up, add Easter eggs from both games, then make the ultimate Red Dead experience from it all with a whole new story line… Meh I’m spitballin here
Nah, no legendary gunslinger would defeat the notorious Arthur morgan. My guy took thousands of bullets everyday and ain't doin shit, plus wanted by 5 states? Legendary gunslinger where wanted by sheriff's, while Arthur? Wanted by an entire government, just shows how dangerous he is.
I mean yeah it would've been cool but who's to say Arthur is not a prodigy compared to those legends and was able to take them down in his prime? A timing type of thing.
Fun Fact: If you spawn Frank Heck using mods, apparently, he has John Marston's gun in his holster. (Leads me to believe John's revolver is the base to most cattlemen revolvers. Still not convinced? Look at Flaco's revolver grip, same grip as Marston's. How about Granger's gun? Just John's but with engravings. Hosea literally has two of his guns.)
No because, this gunslinger was also going to be a gambler at van horn saloon and have the high roller revolver and this revolver is double action not cattle man.
@@0utL4w_J I'm not saying he has cattleman revolvers, I'm saying John's revolver is just the stock weapon every unique NPC is given if they don't have a gun already in their coding they spawn with.. Basically, if you spawn in Frank Heck, he'll have John's revolver in his holster(s), as his actual guns aren't coded nor programmed to be given to him. I'm assuming it's because he's a cut character.
Fun fact: the “high roller revolver” was franks and you could get it from Dueling him in the Calloway side mission but since he was cut they just let you buy his revolver from the fence
arthur was meant to beat him in a duel in one of the missions of the noblest men and women but the mission was cut because the mission was in armadillo and arthur was not supossed to be in new austin
Arthur was able to defeat these legends only thanks to his scriptwriter shield of the hero An outlaw like him without tricks and practice would not have known the same fate
The screen cuts into 2 colours as both characters go into deadeye at the same time. Both raise their guns and for a few seconds, everything stops. The camera shows a few angles of both men aiming at each other while time has stopped. They both pull the trigger. A loud bang is heard and an explosion appears in the middle of the room. A large object falls to the wooden floor to show 2 bullets mashed into each other. The bullets had hit each other at the same time when shot. They both hurry to cover on opposite sides of the room and a shoot out ensues...
"The town was free once more" implies the Sheriff had been corrupt and Frank was a hero, so it probably wouldn't work well for the player to be tracking down Frank and probably fighting him.
I would like to see all these top gunslingers from the redemption universe take on Mr Kelly, Jack Swift and Red Harlow from the Red Dead Revolver verse
Heck was supposed to be apart of the Calloway missions. Some game files suggest he had a draw time of 1.4 seconds whilst your in deadeye (insanely fast).
If he was added to the game it whould have been a good idea to get only with Arthur because Jack reads a book about him so that whould mean he's dead what i'm saying is that if you din't do the mission with Arthur and after the epilogue to buy a news paper that whould read „Legendary gunslinger Frank Heck shot himself due to unknown circumstances"
Clearly, you don't know who I am so let me clue you in I am not in danger Jack I AM THE DANGER A guy opens his door and gets shot, you think that of me? No I am the one who knocks.
@@caliberthecow3727 Yes but he got scrapped from the game Since R* cut the Armadillo part with Arthur I'm not saying the opposite only that it would be stupid to put him as a legendary bonus if he is dead According to the words of the bartender of the Tumbleweed saloon
I gotta love how arthur is canonically the fastest gunslinger ever but he just doesnt acknowledge it aside from saying „i mean im a good shot BUT“ in oh brother-1
They should’ve kept frank in the game rdr2 would’ve benefited from a billy the kid type character a young outlaw with a gift for gunslinging would’ve been so cool
Btw, this gunslinger was originally supposed to be the way to get the high roller revolver, he was supposed to dual wield them and could be found in the van horn saloon and was going to also be a gambler but i guess rockstar was to lazy so they just renamed his revolver into high roller revolver, and put it in all fences. 💀
I think, what they should do is make rdr3 a huge game. Spend a lot of time and money on it, never cut corners or remove things from the game, and have the same hype energy as gta 6 and it be one of the best games ever made.
For anyone who was wondering who drank heck was he was a gunslinger on the cigarette cards in rdr2 and his nickname was there armadillo kid he was from tumbleweed saloon and could talk to him but was shortly after removed from rdr2 hope it helped
I suspect that this removed gunslinger would have dead eye let me quote, ‘before he could blink the fastest young man west of the grizzle’s had filled him full of cold lead’ he has dead eye
