Over 20 years ago, i took my family on a vacation to S.A. Our car was broken into at the hotel. I had made the mistake of leaving my video camera in the car, and it was the only thing taken. My father had passed away a couple of months prior, and those c0cksuckers stole the only video I had of my new born daughter and my father. I still hold a grudge against S.A. to this day.
Texas cities are a bunch of shit holes. Been in the state for 30 years. The suburbs and rural areas are some of the best in the country. Avoid the metropolitan areas at all cost. Skip that show, movie, or whatever it is that’s going on there. It’s not worth it.
That sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. Reminds me of when we needed to develop film to get our pictures & I had killer pics of stars at concerts super up close & personal, pics from an event I did that had friends visiting from all over & some other meaningful shit & the A hole that developed them stole the pictures instead of just making copies of the celebs they wanted for themselves & giving me my pics & experiences I'd never b able to recreate again.
$2500 for dead joey in a jar...? I'm Australian, i will literally register as a scientific specimens handler and get this party started! Donut you in? I know Heather will be!
@@Irrelevant530 $250 could be a killer deal for someone if you were to find the right buyer, it's all about demand baby. It may be worthless to most people, but some will go to great lengths to pursue their weird hobbies.
We have them in the UK too, also loads of people who play Nazi Germans/Russians in WWII re-enactment clubs. It's quite disturbing when you think about it.
@@nickmaclachlan5178 its keeping history in your minds if you find it disturbing ts good mayby iit makkes you question sending billions of pounds of military gear to ukraine
@@nickmaclachlan5178not really that disturbing when you actually think about it, the majority of Germans weren't committing atrocities and were just being drafted/defending their homeland. And the majority of people reenacting it just are fascinated with the weapons and uniforms.
I saw a shirt recently for a police dive unit it read: 'I swam in shit and picked up dead things' I think that was Heather's mood leaving that Expo.😂😂😂
It's a bummer that Jensens brewery wasn't up to par. He's one on my favorite actors but I did just get 2 of your shirts and one of Heathers and they are quality 👌 grate video always love the random stuff
6:10 I might be wrong but I believe Tillamook is a brand (Tillamook cheddar). We sometimes get Tillamook ice cream. Apparently it's a dairy brand they have cheese, ice cream, yogurt, cream cheese spread, sour cream and butter (to note I didn't know then I look it up while still writing comments, I sorta regularly do this). Also the Austin Oddities Expo looked kinda cool as a person who likes bones and dead things. I own a random piranha that's on a stand that is basically 2 pieces of weak/bendy metal that spiked into it's belly (it's old af and I think my uncle gave it to me for some reason.... I have no idea), a bat in a glass/plastic dome (I think the bottom of it glows in the dark but it's high on a shelf), a keychain that is a beetle in a glass/plastic rectangle and I think I might have had a scorpion thing similar to the beetle (it might also have the glow in the dark bottom but I have no idea where it is, I believe I had it at one point or maybe I am just remembering something I never owned).
My mother _exclusively_ buys Tillamook cheese. It's OK, but I routinely find better at the local supermarket's "cheese cooler" by the deli section. I do prefer their shreds when I'm making my "random cheese" fondue, but that's about it. My mom is just set in her ways, I guess.
I live in Leicester in England, I visit Louisville KY every other year (discounting the bloody rona years) cos pew pew pew and beautiful creeks and trails. Y'know, the snobby Europeans look down on American cheese, but they're just wrong. Some Americans make European cheeses PERFECTLY I bought some Red Leicester cheese and said to the cashier "I'm from the place this cheese is from!" and the dude looked at me as though I was high. I was 17 and high as fuck. I'm set in my ways too, there was far fancier cheese there, way more than I have access to at home, and more variety to boot. I think it was just a Kroger or something.
I do enjoy the irony of dissing Austin while driving your van to get special coffee, a $13 frito pie, $14 wedge of lettuce, and then going to a brewery.
With a sticker in the window that says "This truck has been broken into so many times that i have installed a booby trap for the next thief, you'll know when you find it"
It's actually crazy to me that non-lethal thief-deterrents or "booby traps" are illegal, even ones that use "non-lethal means" Fuck it, if I want to pin a gas grenade to my car door let me do it. Arrest me IF it kills an innocent person and only then!
"One of the breweries of all time" carries the same weight as the "compliment", "Of all of the people I know, you're one of them" Well done, entertaining video
This is likely to piss off those of you that love cats but when I worked for animal control there was a company out of El Paso that bought specimens for research/training/dissection and they paid $3 for every frozen cat we had in the freezers. They would send a guy out every three months with a freezer box and blank check to buy all of our euthanized cats. It's one of the reasons I finally said fuck it and quit. After 5 years as an ACO and the shelter EU-ing @ 1,750 animals a year (of which I participated in a quarter of each year) I must have euthanized over 2,000 animals myself in total. I had enough, it's the piece of shit people owner releasing animals day after day that need a dose of blue juice not the terrified animals they left in our "care".
I once spent an entire summer looking at producing cat food. Spent good money on testing, materials, supplements, ingredients, and waded through the voluminous AAFCO "model regulation" that most States use for regulating pet foods (it's actually crafted by the industry, and legislatures skim it and say "Good enough for us" and write a law saying "refer to this document"... lazy politicians!) ... which is the point we stopped. To be covered by the rules in the document, a feed test that involved something around 30 cats over a several month period was needed, wherein they tested (like, blood tests etc.) how they responded to the food and nutrition. OK, so far... and there are companies that will do this, for a fee of course. A low five-figure fee, but we had the money. But then we discovered that after the test they just killed them. Basically, they were considered test tubes... disposable ones. We just couldn't do that. It was stupid, and inhumane.
Sounds like my neighboring city of Portland Oregon. It’s a shithole. On the other hand, Tillamook products are delicious! I was there last Sunday waiting in line at their visitors center for some food. The cheese is good but the ice cream is where it’s at. 🤤 Good to see the videos lately, Donut.
If you are ever in 717 Pennsylvania or Gettysburg, gearhouse brewery has some great drinks. About 30 mins south of Gettysburg. Even a ghost could drive that.
"it's a whole kangaroo" as an Aussie let me assure you that if it was a WHOLE kangaroo you would need e very fuckn big jar. Those things can be bigger than people when full sized (depending on breed etc)
Austin is the San Fran or Seattle of Texas. Sister cities or they/them cities or whatever. It too bad it's our capitol, it doesn't represent Texas in the least.
When you said Soldier Boy and brewery in the same sentence, for a second I thought that Soulja Boy had opened a brewery. Have some Crank That Lager, or some Kiss Me Through The Phone IPA, or a Turn My Swag On Ale
I went to the same oddities and curiosity expo when it was in Kentucky so I had to drive bout 4 hours from Tennessee and I was not disappointed. I love clowns and there were plenty of IT things and Killer Klowns from Outer Space stuff that I loved and spent an absurd about of money on.😂😂😂
You and Heather are forever tied together. Because if you break up with her, your skull may end up above the fireplace 🤣 Kidding, probably. She's into some weird shit but honestly it's pretty tame compared to all the other crazies out there.
Ausin doesnt seem too bad, especially compared to other places. Mayor seems alright. It isnt where id move but hey, better than 75% of the west coast and anywhere its cold lol
I watch so many channels on youtube highlighting the homelessness on the streets of the US while knowing the US government have sent $80 billion in cash and aid to Ukraine, is there something wrong with that?
come up to Leander/Cedar park area its hands down different than Austin. Also there used to be a reclaimed taxidermy place in Austin that had elephant skulls and all sorts of stuff that's now illegal to harvest
Too bad there are certain vehicle traps that are only legal in places like South Africa.... dayum Cody! Your poor truck has been broken into A LOT, good sir!
Not gonna lie, I'd go check out that Expo too lmao, that's Metal as fvck. When can we start installing Claymores in our vehicles as an anti-theft countermeasure? C'mooooooon hahahahaha
To say he invented 300 Blackout is like saying Henry Ford invented the automobile. JD Jones (SSK Industries) created the 300 Whisper 15 years before 300 Blackout and Blackout was just commercialization of 300 Whisper.
Thank you VERY MUCH!!! for the burned in subs! Such a great addition! Even though I can understand you fine I really appreciate it for sharing and keeping the sound low when necessary! Love ya man , keep doing what you like doing, it's great to see you happy and sharing it!
3:44 if I’mma be honest heaters a psycho. Who actually buys a kangaroo in a jar. That’s some Jeffrey dahmer stuff right they’re. I have no problem either with taxidermy and hunting. But having a kanagarro in a jar that’s just weird.
Q LLC, a firearms manufacturer who makes the Honey Badger, is about 15 minutes away from my house. I figured I would share because I think its pretty neat.
As someone who has lived all over the country, I always called Austin, Berkeley East. Bunch of hippy wannabes and hobos. Now it might be worse than Berkeley.
I'm surprised that the Assquatch didn't make an appearance at dead animal fest! If you don't know what an assquatch is, seriously, do yourself a favor and google it lol. Some of the greatest hillbilly taxidermy pieces I've ever seen 😂
Kevin makes some cool stuff, but he'll never get a penny out of me. His online presence and bullying of small businesses to steal their products is insufferable. The man will argue like a baby at the slightest criticism of his products. It's absurd.
Donut:"This is the fourth, time my truck has been broken into, no sixth time my truck got broken into" me: oh snap that's a lot! Donut: "in a month" Me:💀
What do you think happened to Portland Oregon! After the California riots in the 90's a lot of people moved to Oregon . These people ruin where they live then move and do the same things!
I won't speak about the people but texas is pretty awesome imagine going to Heb and one of these fellas is in there chillin and if that's not cool everytime you shoot a bullet and it hits the ground it always goes twing like in the western movie :)
so the title of the video is disarming, thought it would be a general vlog w/ guns and stuff, but the stuff, i really shouldn't have been eating when i watched it
Tillamook cheddar is fantastic. Made in a rural part of Oregon near the coast (not to be associated with the disgusting, fecal pile that is Portland). Most of the dairy products I buy are made by the factory there. Good stuff.
