Let's go with a good measuring stick with Will Smith's number's from last season. Adam Fantilli played at one year younger in Michigan, but those two would be good measuring sticks, no pun intended, when it comes to their numbers. I think what stopped him from being a top 10 pick this year was smoothing out some of the rough spots. As he increases his strength and weight, his game will change too.

Gio, they aren't looking for Demidov to move into a 1C position. Kapanen, Hage, Suzuki, Dach, Beck and even Newhook, they are more than fine at center. There are about 6 other players that are listed as centermen as well. The team is going to be placing these players as they see fit and Demidov wasn't drafted to be a centerman.

I wouldn't want him to be a center man either. The center usually are the first person to cover for defensive situations and I want Demidov to focus more on the offense and not hang back. Though I do like the idea that in a pinch he can play center and is responsible defensively.

@@deanromanado5850 The game is won by a mix of the sum of all parts. The sum of their parts are better suited with him on the wing. They will be a sum of all parts team, and those parts will be tough to defend against in the next 2-3 years.

I've watched the Habs development camp games and Hage was, according to the eye test, the best player on the ice. His passing, speed and hockey sense was above everyone on the ice. I have high hopes for Hage, I think he will ultimately be in the top 6.

Nope , nope, nope , like 5 players were listed and not one of them was Logan Mailloux, he's brought up in trade talks , he had an amazing AHL rookie season but he gets no love
