Today, I came to check out the locations from The Hangover 2, which was shot in Bangkok! I watched the movie after not having watched it for a long time, and to my surprise, I could recognise most of the locations! So Today I take you out on an adventure through Bangkok to see these locations!

It was on TV in Oz last night (Again) love seeing areas that ive been to, i was on the phone to my girl in Jomtien at the same time and she kept asking why i was laughing, i explained to her that the movie was hilarious, she however didnt think me watching a movie while talking to her was funny at all... oh well ya win some ya loose some 😄 Great video paying homage mate, very well put together

Stayed in 7/1 a few months back , forgot about this movie 🤣🤣 Lebua is always a favourite place of mine to go. The view is insane! I recommend it to anyone. And the food is lush!

This is what he does he makes videos only when it suits him, I.e theirs a problem and he needs to do a visa run, he then makes a series of videos... that he doesn't finish. Ashame as he does great content!

The real bars were called Tilac, Cactus and Sideline. They built a false front to make it look different for the film. In addition to Soi Cowboy, they also filmed in Patpong.

Ahhhh awesome, I’m assuming it was the inside shots in Patpong? The bars in the movie looked huge inside. I didn’t notice any street scenes from there..

@@keisone BTW, everyone always wants to talk about how the wedding is in Krabi and you can’t take a speedboat to Bangkok from Krabi. However if you suspend your disbelief and immerse yourself in the movie, Allen asks Stew “If there is a Long John Silver’s on the island?”, so clearly the wedding is on Ko Samui.

I loved the first one when i was a regular vegas visitor. When i moved there tho i became a full on thailand addict and therefore loved the 2nd film. The third where they went to "Tijuana" was actually nogales as i regularly visit TJ and there are zero scenes shot there. Great vid Adam.

nice video, Keis. cool way to pay homage to The Hangover movie. not forgetting the iconic dance tune shot in Bangkok is Groovejet (If This Ain't Love) by Spiller + Sophie Ellis-Bextor. further down south in Phuket Old Town, is On On Hotel (the hostel Leo DiCaprio checked into - The Beach movie) no more a hostel, it's now a boutique hotel.

We stayed at Center Point Silom when they filmed from a helicopter. We didn't know at the time that it was for that movie. So we witnessed the making of Hangover 2 😄

Tilac was the main bar used for the interior shots. The "dressing room" was a set.

Hey Adam, do you also remember the Australian who was injured during the stunts of The Hangover Part 2? Who was the Australian stuntman injured in the hangover 2? An Australian stunt driver has been hospitalized in Thailand after a film-related crash left him severely injured while shooting "The Hangover Part II". Australia's Daily Telegraph reported that stunt driver Scott McLean was in a coma after crashing his car into another vehicle at a high speed during a scene for movie. Loved visiting the Lebua last year! Drinks were pricey but the view was insane. Almost finished documenting their drink list, but they politely told me off!! 😂

I was at the Lebua a couple of years ago. I paid $120 for 3 local beers and 3 mojitos... talk about sticker shock! Granted, the mojitos were one of the best I've ever had. The service charge was included so I didnt leave a tip.

Yeah hangover 2. Must have seen it 100 times also . Its where I first saw labua tower so I had to go there and loved it. Also after i noticed the millennium hilton at the start of the movie which I stayed in a few years before. I might watch it again tonight 555

Car chase scene was filmed at Phadung Krung Kasem canal near Bangkok Railway Station.The Ong Ang canal that you visited was full of slums and shops when the movie was filmed ,That area stared renovate in 2015.
