I don’t even understand why they had to be sent abroad. It’s cheaper and easier to establish in Nigeria than waste money on flights and visa wahala. Nigeria still has good schools the last time I checked.

Ada this is a big lesson for people who help blindly, is it easy to cough out flight money to Europe? How many people would help with transport money from Aba to Enugu by bus , they are ingrates period and they would cause people to doubt them in future

But when these guys were sacked from their jobs, the solution to their problem wasn’t taking them to school abroad. What about setting up a business for them, employing them or setting them up sha. It just seemed like such a rash decision. And like you said, it was sentiments. No logical thinking behind it. He just jumped on the bandwagon without any thought to it. Apparently they failed 6/7 of the courses in the first semester , I think they weren't focused. True they were rewarded for bad behaviour, the evidence was there remember the fact that they returned to chicken republic and danced outside the restaurant ( obviously to laugh in their face) like you have sacked us there is nohing more you can do to us. Even the pictures of them wearing designers and buying expensive champagne they weren't serious. They seem naive and inresponsible.

I can understand the mindset of the OPM Pastor, he is a Nigerian and has felt with Nigerians and know the mindset of every Nigerian, if you put a Nigerian anywhere in the world, that Nigerian will survive, there is even a saying that if you drop a Nigerian at the cold icey north pool, the next day you will see him breaking the ice, fishing and selling to the ischimos who are natives there. All what the boys had to do was to make good use of the opportunity given them to be in Cyprus and make things work for themselves. I can very much understand the annoyance of the pastor to the extend that he had to curse them

To me God is not a man first they were promised full scholarship openly, and he said the Tithe and Offerings other pastors are using to buy private Jet is what he used in sending them to Cyprus (but why?) in my opinion what any pastor what do for anybody either his member or not should not be posted on social media it will always end like this and my brothers you have not done well

These boys were not abandoned. Because of the rising dollar rate, the Apostle asked all his abroad scholarship awardees to return home so he could enrol them in Benin Republic scholarship program, unless the person is willing to continue from where he stopped on his/her own. I guess the Apostle ignored them since they didn't want to take the option of Benin Republic. I guess it was pride to take the option of Benin Republic from the outset that made them adamant to the first call to return. Meanwhile, others did. On the other hand, the weaker part of the Apostle got a hold of him hence, the curse. The guys didn't just want to return. Even as they have been provided with tickets now, but they are still unwilling. What people can do to trend shaa.

Both parties are at fault…and again we can’t judge by saying they are not doing well in there academics because the pastor didn’t mention it…nd people saying they are drinking wine or something so because they were sent abroad does that mean they shouldn’t have a life of there own so they can’t buy drink again or they can’t draw tattoo if they want….I rest my case And for a pastor to lay curses like that is nothing to write home about

Considering they are being sponsored by a church, it would have been wiser to wait or at least avoid posting such on social media. Just for the sake of the fact that these are people's money. Imagine helping the less privileged and you see them flexing with Azul. Some of these church people paying the money might even be able to afford the Azul.
