First time death: Hidden. Second death: 'he pressed 0' Third death: Sledge queen's arbiter shot Fourth death: waves. Fifth death: waves Sixth death: waves Seventh death: Scav war. and many, many, more to come.
Correction for the first death, it wasn't a Hidden, if it was you would hear the Hidden say "hragh" and a stab sound, and see a partially invisible hidden with red eyes. What killed him was a sniper shot to his head, you can see a red laser there and a gunshot. edit: bruh i was wrong my bad guys
I might give you a tip, guns are very lethal to enemies but ammo is scarce (this is why crafting guns is the easiest way to get ammo), so I recommend use guns on enemies with guns and dangerous melee enemies, mostly sledge scav during waves.
i recomend making DVC eagle pistol. because whenever u craft one u get 20 bullets. highly recomended because not because u get 20 bullets....it also costs 50 scraps. its very very good. and shotguns are also extreamly helpful aswell. specidically the KSG because once ucraft it you get 15 bullets i believe. and with that known they can for shure save ur life big time in those big waves
@@personguy4405 The ammo is scarce anyway, and guns are rare, most players prefer crafting pistols early since Light ammo is a common type of ammunition and grants the most ammo when picked up, most specifically from Artillerist
@@alistairvan4059dude if you even half good at the game you could solo queen with just some explosives and a gun its hella essy to get ammo with her container and its hella easy to get scrap anyways
I know I'm kinda late to this, though since he is quite lacking in rations here's a guide. So first rations are only obtained by killing enemies during looting phase (i'm not sure but explosions from grenades may not give rations). Rations consist of low tier rations and higher tier ones. Low tier being Coke and beans, while high tier is a bottle and a MRE. Anyways so instead of using guns or losing health by melee combat, there's another way for you to obtain rations which is really overpowered. Which is the throwing knives, they are equipment, if equipped you get three of them. Throwing knives can one shot most enemies in this game, but there's a catch, in order to do such damage you need to kill the enemy while they're unaware/not aggroed. When unaware the throwing knife will do 150 dmg each, if aware they will only do 50 dmg each. So during waves they can still be somewhat useful since most enemies (excluding bosses obviously) will still die when hit by 2-3 throwing knives. Alright so uh how do you unlock the throwing knives in the first place? Well.. through achievements, more specifically the Axe-cution achievement (not roblox achievements, achievements in-game) which is completed by killing 5 enemies using the throwing axe.
ok so food only drop if enemy dint turned into red mist (mostly death by explosive but not all explosive turn them into rest mist) and the easiest class to get ration is hivemind since well... your bugs have wallhacks that can detect scav around you while using direct
Hey corny, I've been recently playing as the Hivemind. In my opinion, when using the Hivemind perk you should always use Divide mode for the wave rounds and use Direct mode for looting.
@@Cr_zzyBetter than most games, each class play differently from each other, and every run is slightly different even if the waves are the same for the most part
Gotta love that corny died to a hidden whitin a minute Also, he seems to not have noticed he could switch modes, hold up the bracelet and use right click it will change modes between DISPERSE, DIVIDE, DIRECT Direct is very useful for scavenging, the hive surround you and attack anything in proximity Divide puts hives between where you're standing and your mouse location, very useful in waves Disperse works best for the side room strat
Corny, if you plan on returning to the game, i highly recommend watching a guide on the mellee system and it's mechanics. There is more than just hitting and running. Parrying is an essential part of the game. Especially when fighting the queen, because not reacting to her attacks correctly leads to a quick death. She hits like a truck and her knuckleboom shotshell is not to be messed with. Atacks need to be correctly parried, shotshell attempts need to be interrupted by the shove mechanic, to not get blown up by her.
No a hidden slightly reveals itself after killing a agent, as it becomes translucent and shows it's obvious red eyes, this was implemented so that Hidden won't squad wipe the team - 🤓🤓🤓
you just need 3 people max, and everyone uses blitzer, one person uses hologram, 2 others use anything else that can attack, 1 person gets the guitar, other gives the guitar, and while that hunt for more explosives, then spam explosives not too near the castle, when its about at 45 seconds, spawn a hologram thats moving towards the part of the castle which prob has a ladder, place another hologram on the explosives, wait for the queen to come, and hold F to explode, if only a gunner comes, reset
Corny you got killed by hidden which can oneshot but you can hear the sound so dont put your volume at the lowest setting so you could hear it make sound sfx which is "I See You", "I'm Behind You", "Turn Around".
get 4 blitzers and 1 random perk, the blitzers throw bombs at the 1 random perk (the bombs will stick), when you feel it is enough bombs rush sledge queen and detonate the bombs
on her own sq is an insanely hard boss, it requires near frame perfect timing to actually avoid her shotshells, issue is its also ridiculously easy to cheese her with guns or explosives
tier 27 (or more) decaying winter player here the best way i kill sq is by going vagabond, create a ksg, getting I4s, purple stem, and S44 stem, then making my traits all gun related, make my equipment hologram, make sure to get over 10 dog tags with vagabond perk
thats only good on riskrunner + lone wolf (and you need to time when she dropslides) other than that its pretty useless just use literally any other gun with (recommended) dynamite
@@jamalcamogus9058 not all gun, most pistol suck due to lack of mag size and damage, some smg are pointless due to high recoil or low damage, some ar are bad due to mag size or recoil, and lmg are overall overrated, i recommend modded AKM since all you need is the blueprint, 100 scrap, and a workbench, then maby have some more ammo just incase she dint die from 30 shot to the head (assuming you dont miss)
Just a little thing so you know: The thing that killed you in the first attempt is ''The Hidden'' which is a ''1 shot'' (deals 123 damage per hit, but perks like Arbiter can tank it due to you having 130 HP) enemy that is invisible, you can detect if he is around/following you if you hear voices like ''Turn around'', ''behind you'' and some others. Also he can be parried and has a bit of low range so if you move in the right time you can make him miss (which makes him be visible for about a second)
the only way to survive is to spam parry and get lucky or be a perk like arbiter or zealot with more than 123 hp and back up against a wall because most of the time he kills you anyway because he likes to backstab
@@noodlesoup2586 or just... play 3 perk i know that easily counter the hidden, immolator by holding F, hivemind direct bugs, and tickspider, all of them easily counter hidden and dosent require you to brainlessly spam R with a melee like an idiot that is panicking
Theory for SQ: She was maybe once an agent just like us. If you watched the echo playback at the hill (not the green one) there's an agent which has a similar hair, maybe the scavs tool her and idk prob put some SERVO on her, she got revived, doesn't remember being an agent, made the decimator, learned whole new shits, and murdered countless fellow agent. She came for yosef lol
She isn’t an agent, she just killed an arbiter and stole his knuckleboom and lunchbox, it is why she doesn’t get shot by turrets. Her hammer isn’t a decimator, it is a lighter sledgehammer, the head of the hammer was gifted to her by rayzen from SOF. The raiders are peaceful unless aggravated, the scavs and raiders are supposed to be enemies because the scavs have no real order.
I love decaying winter oh by the way you can press g to unload guns so if you find a gun that is worse than another gun that’s better but used the same ammo you can just unload the bad gun
Corny. This boss may seem like a boss battle. But there are some tactics that make this fight easy. There's the "Zealot turret spam". Where one person lures the queen towards the tower. And the rest of them spawns their turrets. Then there is the "Tickspiders and Explosives." Where people setup theirs ticks at a certain spawn. And since they do more damage with explosives, they rain down mines and dynamites, or anything in hand. LAST BUT NOT LEAST. There is the "Mass bombing". Where the blitzers stick the "pipe bombs" onto a player. Some might refer to this as "GOD IS GOOD(In a certain language)" or "GODSPEED(In another certain language)", where the player with the bombs stuck to them being blown away by the triggers. Hope these "Unconventional teamwork strategies" help. All you will need are some members. Hope this helps.
I killed the sledge queen using holo emitter and zealot, using holo to lure her out and run to the tower and hide behind a pillar using the turret ability zealot has and waiting for its cooldown to be finished to use it again once its finished shooting and disappeared
Ok I have a good strategy for beating sledge queen and I call it ‘Terrorism’ Ok so you need 4 Blitzers and 1 Drifter and the blitzers put bombs on the drifter and then drifter lures sledge queen and when they give you the signal you detonate the bombs :)
I know a way harder boss, but all games have different combat systems so one might be harder then another because of the difference in combat. Right 2 Fight Parker or Shucky, both pains to deal while, try them solo :trolling:
You should really change your perk if you plan on killing scavenger queen, especially gun-oriented perks. Hivemind isnt really… good for taking on high hp-enemies, only good for debuffs and crowd control at most. As for handling Scavenger Queen? She’s relatively simple, you can use either HOLO Emitters or Shrapnel Devices as Auxiliaries to aid you during this. HOLO Emitters bait her (and her bodyguards and elite scavengers sometimes). You can make them run by using them while running to a direction you want them to go. Shrapnel devices help reduce the enemies overall stats, especially walkspeed and melee damage and firearm accuracy. If you’re going all in guns or melee though, i recommend the Koldera PRT-STS for Guns and aim and the Dan Janiel No. 8 for a Painkiling effect similar to a hemostatic but blurs, ignoring cripple and fracture. Or Tear Gas if you really just want to stun them. For traits i recommend: Gun Only: Professional -(Reduces Recoil Perks I certainly would recommend: Tickspider (faster trapsetting, great recoil, has explosive homing perk ability if you Hold F, increased damages with explosives you use) Blitzer (faster aiming, can take a bit more damage, can throw fast regenerating Izucbni Gift bombs that can stun an enemy albeit for a small while) Artillerist (kill a scavenger nearby with the perk ability to obtain the DEADEYE buff to go along with your heavily increased gun control) Riskrunner (Great gun control but can only hipfire and scavenges less ammo, but also has the VULKA Minigun as a backup) For melee id go Executioner (35+ kills can let you kill scavenger queen with melee in 1-3 hits) Berserker (Calamity stim heavily increases your melee capabilities, especially if paired with a S44 and purple combat stim) Arbiter (their perk ability can act has a 43 damage close range shove or as a 90 damage longshot that can stun and affect the surrounding area) or Drifter (if you’re doing the Showdowner challenge and or only intend to bait her out for a 1v1) If you just want the normal cheese strategy i suggest you Grab HOLO Emitters for Aux, Professional, Impatient and Lone Wolf (if you are hipfiring with an akm or automatic) or Paranoid (if using a ksg or sniper), Grabbing atleast: 1-2 dynamite, 1-2 remote explosives, 2-4 proximity mines and atleast 1 fully loaded crafted gun (AKM or KSG, make sure all hits land as headshots - atleast most of them), bait her out under the bridge with holo emitters by running with the first hologram towards the castle and the second hologram near where you placed the explosives and various traps. Wait for the shotgun explosion noises and run to her if necessary, just make sure she gets to your second hologram. Throw all your dynamite or throwables before she gets to the second and detonate all the remote explosives once she reaches the proximity mines. Fully Unload the gun into her skull. If she puts up her hammer to block or her arm to longshot or use her knuckleboom, you may shove her with Q to stop her and stun her temporarily from doing anything else. If you shove her from block though, she will be quick to recover if she doesn’t dash away when you’re upclose and if you shove her or kill her, ALL Enemy Scavengers will be alerted to your location. If however you’re going melee only: have Dependable, Fearless and a melee trait of your choice if you’re afraid and know you’re going to get hit or Fearless/Dependable and two melee traits of choice. (My go to are Manic/Methodical or Aggressive Behavior/Methodical) use Dan Janiel No. 8 if you want to ignore any debuffs while fighting or after killing Scav Queen, use Ballistic Dagger for faster and damaging shoves, Shrapnel device to reduce her melee damage and walkspeed, or just HOLO Emitters to bait out her jumpshot or auto aim longshot. If you are executioner, just have 35+ bounties and kill her with an m1 left click combo or a single m2 and she’s dead. If you’re going any other perk and or are doing the Showdowner challenge just like me, grab tactical armor, hemostatic, i4s-ds, s44-ul1, 3-cbstm and go to town on her with a melee of your choosing. (Firerier Axe: fast light attack, Maria: max enemy fracture, has hard hitting damage Billhook/Artisan’s Hook: Has 200% range [you can kite with it] and staggers enemies upon hit. I do not recommend you go Executioner or Decimator unless you have Manic or are using Decimator to take advantage of the fact it’s explosion damage from it’s heavy attack does not suffer from morale damage reduction.) I’m Tier 11 and i just got Tier 10 like a week ago, but now im trying to get the Showdowner rank in the official Decaying winter discord and am playing Guild Wars 2 for the first time to wait for Decaying World (an unofficial fangame.) Hope this comment reaches you well, and good luck out there, Agents.
how about you just use holos on literally any perk (except damned, but its almost impossible to kill sledge queen as damned solo) and have two decent guns (like two akms)
@@humanbeing7221 nah, sorry but sledge queen counter vagabond easily with long shot from her knuckle boom, all tags just poof and you are slow enough, not to mention if you piss her off by going too far she will jump at you or long shot you, get too close and might as well get shoved or smack, and dont even try to parry her when she have yellow eye since that go through parry, vagabond is overrated nowdays since speed isnt as good as back in the day, back in the day scav are much weaker, now well... lest just say vagabond only useful for its speed when there is no gun scav
Apostle is pretty hard to get by killing a sickler but you just press f and hold f while aiming at someone and you basically have a forced worker do the job for you
You treat your Dave like a slave I treat my Dave as a comrade We’re not the same Also killing sickler ain’t that hard 80% of the guns in game can basically kill it in seconds, with 10 waves usually you’ll eventually run into the silly man
There are difirent enemys called infected there 5 in total the first one is called "hidden" hes a monster that you cant se but can hear if you hear sounds like "i see you" or i can see you" the only way to know were he is is to ping him you can ping by pressing z if you ping a scav it will show there location also hidden can backstab you next one is "sickler"he will randomly appear in the map if he sees you or you hit him he will dream for 6 secs after that he will break his chains and chase you hes a rare one btw next one is skinner he will pretend to be a scav in order to know who is the skinner you must get close to a scav second way is if you try to parry a scav whos him he will activate 3 way is that if you kill a scav whos him last one is hanger he will randomly appear on the right building of the map if you get to close to him he will make you suicide in order to avoid the suicide you must spam e and the kill him thats all the tips in order to parry click r if you have a weapon excetp fists
Dude when playing decayong winter me and my friends where goofing around and i went back to base to put some stuff back and see i have 2 morale and my friend is running to base with sledge queen killing him then ending me💀
Have you try holdout game mod the boss in here is really hard.the hardest boss in this game mod is KING with 10k hp and power to one shot you (you cant parry him btw
@@abnormalgaming8220 i only have like 2 pledges and level 73 and it's not even that hard, the most challenging thing probably is just like scav war or killing a sickler by just parrying and attacking
The sledge queen is a raid boss that is harder than the final boss aka yosef she has 1200 hp and is resistant to guns and explosions to beat her some if the best guns to use are ksg akm or a fast firing gun with high mag compacity. Tickspiders are a fan favourite to use against the slegde women.
