@acrock21 It's racing... Not fun when many drivers was taken out but shit happens. Kevin got wrecked when he was leading at the last lap at the Freedom Factory in a pretty ugly way by Kurt Busch at the 2021 2.4 Hours of LeMullets, but it's racing. And if nothing ever happens in racing it gets boring. Kevin normally race clean and is a really good driver, everyone can make bad choices. He explained what happened on his YT channel.

Humble suggestion to make it a requirement to get checked out in a severe crash. I know your waiver is probably solid. But it's just good practice IMO

Idk, I was buying it until he said his move was supposed to bump draft the silver car past the black and white car lmao, you can’t do that shit at a short track, the rear suspension is to unloaded, the only outcome anyone with a brain can expect to get from pushing someone in the middle of a turn at a short track is to wreck them.

@@RustyWells2 Watch his video... He posted the in car and when he came to a stop he said "shit, I caused that" He was mad at himself. Also remember he got spun out on the final lap last race by a nascar driver... He has been on both sides of the situation himself. In his video he put all the blame square on himself. I honestly think they should keep those cars at The freedom factory... they have no business on that track at those speeds with mostly armature drivers...

I think he realized just how close it came to someone being seriously hurt.

@@tommyboy256 if you watch his video he was trying to push the car out to the lead to follow behind him. He said he was being slowed by the 2 of them racing side by side. He just pushed from the wrong side I think as NASCAR drivers have to push from the passenger's side to not upset the other car.

Met Zach there this weekend. He seems to be genuinely cool/good person. He was down to earth and super nice. (His wife is too). Doesn’t surprise me one bit he was checking on Deegan here. Cleeter crew is legit

@@FarmerFpv The problem is that these cars are not designed to hit the walls at these speeds. That makes them dangerous. Racing is dangerous in general, but even more so in a Crown Vic.

@@jiminauburn5073 you act like ucar/street stock and all of the other non chassis cars aren’t built for it… maybe not compared to her chassis truck and dirt car. But a Vic as a non chassis racecar is one of the safest vehicles to be in. I think the real danger is racing with non professional personalities. They don’t understand the danger of actually hitting a wall and treat it like gokart racing where you bounce off and are fine to keep going.

Yeah.. but still... I've never raced IRL! BUT I've raced 100,000's of laps on iracing.. There is something called racecraft.. and everyone knows, you dont push in the corners, especially on the gas on exit. I was screaming what an idiot when it happened because I knew exactly what kevin did... The fact that he made the mistake, and apologized still doesnt fix the fact that he took out alot of people!! HOWEVER.. at least MAYBE moving forward, he wont do such a thing! Personally, I'd add him to the list.. and get him back in the future, sometimes thats really the only way to teach someone..!! but they are safe.. this proved it LOL it was two drivers.. one experienced and got a little too aggressive early and the other shouldnt have been racing aggressively to begin with as he over corrected and was the actual cause of the accident.. shrugs.. not more can be done with the cars... they have seats and cages and window nets besides the build from the factory as the crown vics are made to be tough for police work to begin with. maybe better strengthening of the seats and mounts for them...

@@freedomfox8183 lol their vehicles are not going 5 times faster, and Id rather take a hit in a Nascar truck at 150+ than a hit like this. Her truck has a full containment seat, legit cage, legit harnesses, hans, etc. No one has died in the top 3 series of Nascar since 2001. They are pretty safe.

@@mindedchaos yeah thats a way to look at it. They got LUCKY. Tons of crashes happened without a head and neck restraint device without deaths, and then Earnhardt died. And now every series requires it. Safety is a moving target and these cars arent even remotely on par with any motorsports safety standards at all for today's standards. Its embarrassing.

@@loganlachance1890 Nah. It doesn't take an engineer to realize these cars need actual cages and the racing seat to be mounted to the frame. All he has to do is look at Indianapolis speedrome's rulebook for this car.

The point of the race is to use cheap cars and have a true level playing field. He buys the cars, the racers don't. And crown vics are cheap, everywhere and surprisingly strong. If racers bought their own cars it'd turn into NASCAR and people would try to cheat, those with more money would have better cars and the grass roots style would be gone. Same with drifting. You know why we have better safety equipment? Because previous versions weren't safe enough and that was found out through crashes. The racers sign waivers. They know the dangers of all racing. Any racer knows hopping in a crown Vic with a roll bar that it's more dangerous than legit racing. I find it funny no one is leaving these "heartfelt" comments on any of the guys videos who crashed. Y'all weirdos see a girl who is attractive and turn into creepy old simps. She got into a wreck in a race where she knew the possibility of a wreck. She gets in wrecks constantly. She isn't severely injured or anything. You should be glad everyone walked away, not just some young girl you think is pretty.

Plenty of people have voiced their concerns on the safety of these cars, me personally since Indy. These cars wouldn't pass safety inspection at any short track in the country. Period.

Do remember, she's the only driver that brought noodles. She's thinking safety. They can learn from this accident, whatever else needs to be done for these Crown Vic races.
