I can't, Paradox prevents me from saving, I never had a single achievement, like 85% of people if you check any Paradox game. Achievements give me nothing, I'll take the extra save slots for whenever I reach a bug or one of my saves corrupt. Also for mods. Oh, if you say saves don't corrupt often, it happened to me on my last Stellaris game when the Crisis started, rolling back a save fixed everything. And it happened to me quite a few times in EU4 and CK3. Thankfully, with extra saves, it's never been a problem.
I have never played long enough to see the 200 Japanese division guarding every single square centimeter of Japan and the 150 allied divisions on one signle island
ISP casually forcing Japan and the Dutch to be best friends again. Hilariously irl when during the Napoleonic wars when Japan was an isolationist samurai island when the Dutch lost their country to Napoleon and got exiled to their colonies Japan had to go to the dutch (btw they're literally the only people trading with them before the Americans showed up) to ask them what is happening in Europe.
Japan was persecuting their Christian population pretty badly at that time, the dutch traders were the only ones not caring enough about that to throw away a good deal
@@jesperdenbraven1995 The Dutch never cared about religion much with trading. They also slam-dunked the Portuguese a lot in the 1600s over colonies. The fact the Dutch also massive disliked Catholicism and kept Japan updated on European affairs helped to keep the trade and relations good.
@@Njuregen they did kept the whole Napoleon business a secret until the Japanese got suspicious and asked them directly. I remember after learning about it Japan made a group that's meant to archive everything but I forgot what they did exactly. They do kept trading with the Dutch though and yeah Dutch really didn't mind religion when it comes to trading unlike the Portuguese who kept sent missionaries in an attempt to convert Japan and caused the christian population to revolt which revoked the trading privileges of the Portuguese and Gave the Dutch the opening they need.
The Dutch have taken the bicycle and have twisted and corrupted it. For that there shall be no forgiveness, only hood ordiments. For legal reasons, that's a joke.
When you lose nearly 300 thousand men _three times_ in Japan so you do a cheeky bit of trolling at the capital for payback (they'll never see this one coming)
I think why people considered so hard back in the day because we had Uber Germany AI who just steamrolled Soviets usually in early 1941. Allies could never win unless player carried them. Naturally every beat Germany achievement was a nightmare back then.
Was going to comment the same thing. Soviet AI was eating rocks during this time (which I believe was due to them being programmed to rush Service by Requirement which crippled their factory output and division count). Also, under the old air system it was easy to amass tens of thousands of each plane and there were less air zones. Against a post Soviet capitulation Axis Fortress Europa, you basically had to lead the charge with a pitiful small Dutch army with skies blanketed by 10s of thousands of fighters and thousands of CAS. I eventually got this achievement from invading Vladivostok from Japan (focused on beating them first) and marching through Siberia after poking around in NW Europe, Italy and Syria/Turkey.
I remember that when man the guns came out the allies were incapable of doing a d day, and generally the axis were a lot stronger so i think that os why you remember ot being harder, i remember it as well
im dutch omg so happy to see this yeahh lets go one more youtube video before the game thank god netherlands mentioned yayy bevrijding achievement ok bye gonna watch the video to all germans here: yes, i do still want my bike back
It’s really easy, go non aligned and unite the Netherlands then just put a forts on the front line and specifically on tiles where they can attack from 3-4 directions
@@JDothanOr just go ahistorical. If germany goes through the civil war, they never will get a war goal on you unless you go communist and they democratic
@@JDothan I'll try that next, I've tried communist Benelux twice now and both times I've had Germany break three 9-1 (EDIT: I even tried 10-1 23 width because it almost perfectly fills the 70 width plains, that always break, with three divisions) Engineer, Supp AT, Supp AA, completely supplied, full strength, lvl3 trained, using Grand Battle Plan (51 Entrenchment) sitting on lvl5 forts. I'm not shitting you just straight up losing battles where I've got 3 divisions with 2500 defense, piercing all enemies and like 70% army intel (three maxed out intel networks). Literally the only thing I can think of is trying to get air or SPAA space marines.
@@JDothan Def worked, I guess having the Swiss, Danish, Czech, Swedes, and Norwegian in your faction does a lot lol thank you, now its time to invade France and the UK with the fleet I stole from Italy and form the true EU
"Dutch people, you gotta figure this thing out." Did you know English used to sound like Dutch? Yes it did. Because Dutch is quite a normal Germanic language. At least compared to English. So don't blame us for pronouncing things correctly, blame the English for mixing Dutch, French and Norse (Weirdly enough no Celtic, huh) together and then doing weird things like vowel shifts and other stuff to it to create this monstrosity of a language. Also like a fellow commenter stated, it's pronounced bev-ray-ding. But then less English. PS.: I am fully aware that you will ignore this for the bit, and I respect that. Never say I don't respect the bit.
Bitt3rSteel make a video about Belgium and iSorrowproductions make one about The Netherland in the same day? I can smell something weird!!! never mind its my room I am a hoi4 player btw! LOL
I feel like this might be an infamous achievement because it is so AI-dependent. Enjoy trying to get back to Europe or to Japan when the AI loses fleets like America did at the start. Enjoy trying to push where you can when allies take any supply you may have, or disappear the moment you need to defend an area.
