I am sending you so much love and solidarity. I am closing in on 42 and it feels like my life is only just beginning. I could have made this video myself, and it has taken me this long to get my footing due to similar mental health and substance issues. The healing journey through trauma, both my own and the generational trauma my elders have passed down, has changed me completely as a person. I am now in the motion of building an inventory of polymer clay and beaded things to start my own business, and I’ve never had this confidence before. I’ve been in therapy for years and it’s finally starting to feel like I’m finding on who I am as I move through it. I only share this to illustrate a vision of my (finally becoming) positive outcome because I know that sometimes when you’re really in it, it can be hard to see progression and potential, but it really is there for you. Keep pushing. The only way out is through, and I’m so proud of you for taking those steps and not giving up. You’ll move forward and feel like you’re not sometimes, but please learn to trust in yourself because no matter what, your motion is moving you forward. Your vulnerability is beautiful, and I’m happy to follow your journey. Love you, new friend. Always. I see you.

Thank you for this video.. I feel so seen, especially with the fear of going outside.. I was present at Charles University in December 2023... and ever since then, life has not been the same, trying my best to overcome the fears and trauma but feeling useless for not being over it "fast enough" and feeling crazy when people notice I get scared of loud noises or alarms going off. But as you said.. it is 100% our responsibility and one day it will all get better. Sending strength to overcome all the trauma

There is a book called " The Artist's Way " & it's really amazing book and if you haven't read it yet you definitely must its really life changing 💜 . Besides that there's one podcast " Back From The Borderline " By Mollie Aidler & it's related to mental health through spiritual lense & it really helped me a lot in my healing journey.. I believe they both can help you alot too so ☺
