Have you ever wanted to roleplay as the Doom Slayer in Terraria? How about removing the need for aiming of any kind? Or even use the souls of a mechanical beast with a half-minigun, half-shark to create an even bigger gun/shark? If you answered "Yes" to any of these, then Ranger may just be the Hardmode class for you!

I imagine the pillars' essences were being put to use for weapons and armor and he prob didn't have 12 of each to make the summon. Usually how it goes in my playthroughs.

I love that lunatic cultist call them by the pillars name Melee = Solar (he was expected to fight lunatic cultist, but the sanguine Bats delayed it) Ranged = Vortex Mage = Nebula Summoner = Stardust

Portal 2, Half Life 2, TF2, DOTA 2, and now they're making CS:GO2. What really drives home the fact Valve can't count past 2 is Valve actually has made more HL games, HL: Alyx and HL: Deathmatch, for example.

Almost every time I play Terraria I do a solo melee sword build. The only time that melee actually kind of sucks is on Master mode, mainly during pre-hard mode due to the severe lack of strong knockback or range options for swords. Edit: I just realized that the Starfury is a major exception, but it is far from easy to obtain.

@@thegoldenraysoftheglorious1180 You need to get lucky for those, because to craft them you need ingredients that can only be found on SKY ISLANDS, and the gravity potions aren't exactly common.
