A Civic Type R would honestly be a really good daily, turbo, manual, with the comforts of a new sedan.. and I think a Honda as a daily would fit this channel really well.

Wyatt has really put some time and work into the fleet. I think it would be awesome to spend some time on his truck and get him up and running once the main projects are up and going.

The car that got the channel started, still one of the most iconic, so many fond memories you must have for it and hopefully many more to come. Its been far too long since then, that's for sure, this is still my favourite car on the channel so I'm really glad she's up and running again., I'm excited for the future as well.

RS3 RS3 RS3! My friend has an ‘18 that put down a solid 550hp on an e85 tune with intake, exhaust, and a couple other small mods. The dual clutch DSG is crazy good too. Good trunk space and plenty of leg room in the front and back seats. (Im 6’2” 280lbs and I fit comfortably)

As with any of his choices. Daily driver and project don't mix with his kind of connections. I't'll be too hard to not modify it from the get-go. An suv or something similar would fit the bill. Someone mention a 4runner. A Passport or ridgeline would be a good daily.
10th gen Honda Accord 2.0 turbo would be a great daily in my opinion, they look so good (exterior and interior), great on the comfort side of things (suspension and auto trans) and performance as well (it has a very similar engine to that of the Civic Type R) and it is cheaper too so think about it.
I was thinking the new Acura TLX Type R.better comfort as the accord. Plus it's AWD and has nearly 100 hp more than the accord. Has more hp than the civic type r too. Even better for traveling in snowy conditions
Solid, comfortable, fast, cheap, excellent daily: Infinity G35 or a G35x(AWD)... My buddy had a 4dr G35x and I literally drove it once, fell in love, and bought an FX35. Super comfy, decent on gas, (but burns oil) and RELIABLE!!
For the context of the channel, the Type R would make the most sense, although the RS3 hp potential is out of this world if down the line you wanted to mod and race it

Get a 2018-2019 honda accord 2.0t 6speed, swap in the type R LSD as they're compatible and then have a comfortable fun car that could still make 300hp easily all day long
Love my Accord wagon as a daily. Manual swapped it and added a bit more fun. Suggest one! Plenty of room, smooth ride, not too common. Another unique Honda to the collection

One car I reccomend- I rode in my buddy's new accord with the type R engine/turbo and 10 speed trans. That think would absolutely fly for a bone stock car. Absolutely gaps ecoboost mustangs and basically all other 4cy sedans. Had heated and cooled seats, killer gas mileage, and killer interior. I was very impressed with that car and really wasn't too expensive.

I agree, i am a honda mechanic @ a honda dealership,...the 2.0 accord is definitely a nice comfortable ride with plenty of power, plus very easy to get more power outta it
I have the same car/setup. Nobody... and I mean NOBODY sees me coming. Especially anyone in a mustang or RT charger/challenger. On the highway CTR turbo swapped accords can keep up with scat packs no problem. It's one of the best kept secrets in the car world today. Ultimate sleeper car!
Dude I bought my wife an 07 RDX and its hands down the most reliable thing I've ever owned. Awd, Turbo, Cold A/C, Honda platform. I feel like something like that would check all your boxes.
I have an '04 Forester XT as my "daily" for the space of hauling things and the auto for comfort and keeping me in check from building too much power and exceeding it's capacities so I don't go down the rabbit hole of STi 6-speed swapping it. A few minor modifications and it's sitting at just over 300hp/315tq to the wheels on a mustang Dyno. I say worth a look once it's all buttoned up and clean.

Type R would definitely be more suitable for you. It is turbocharged, A/C, new with traction control, rev match control and comfortable. It is 300hp which is a good Hp to have fun but still daily and it already has a K series in it
My vote would be a civic type r perfect daily. All the comforts plus it’s a fantastic fit for the channel. Can’t beat Honda reliability and a few bolts ons will make some good power on the type r!
I think you guys should get a TSX wagon k24 manual for your daily, ideally, an '05 like mine, would love to see how you'd get on with it, keep up the good work man!
Volvo S60 R-spec. 5 cylinder turbo, easy to work on, classy looks, super comfortable, and fun to drive. Stock rods can't handle over about 400HP but it's easy to get upgraded rods and pistons if you want to increase the boost later.
Chevy SS is a super good daily driver with plenty of power and cool factor in factory form and can be a project in the future and a good way to get into the V8s without interfering with the 4 CYL projects
I think turning the wago into a good daily is the way to go. Get the AC working, make a full exhaust for it and make it a fast fun car to drive would be awesome to see
@@HooligansMx yeah he mentioned in the video that the daily shouldn't have the exhaust coming out of some random body panel and going in your face. Plus wago with a hood and full exhaust would make a killer sleeper

Already has a nice audio system inside, already bought by Kyle also built by him...... all he needs is like, which already mention, is AC and full exhaust and maybe a engine hood as well...... plus he doesn't have to worry about another car sitting on the driveway.
Tbh, as a genuinely good daily that's a riot when you stomp on it, you can't go wrong with an RS3 with some bolt-ons and a tune. Those AWD launches are hilarious fun, and it's enough to still be reasonably competitive in a spontaneous ...situation

Audi is absolute trash. Yeah, they're great for the first 60k. Arguably, they are the best under 60k miles. But once the repairs start, you had better run for your life. I manage a European auto repair shop, we have SEVERAL Audi and BMW customers that have spent upward of $10,000 in repairs in just the last 18 months. Also, a few Land Rover owners are in that bracket. In my several decades experience, Mercedes makes a better product.....as long as it isn't a 4cyl. If you're going to buy it and sell it quickly, then sure go for the Rowdi. The S7 is a sweet car to drive. If you're in it for the long haul, you're either going to be spending a LOT in repairs or get pretty good at diagnosing and repairing/hot rodding your own car. That's really the route a lot of Audi owners go, it seems.
i CAN NOT vouch for audi's enough, ANY S or RS badged audi is going to be a ton of fun! my stage 3 b5 s4 is squeaking off about 400 awhp after 265k on it!! regular maintenance intervals need to be met, but beyond that, they are reliable and fun cars! good looking too!
Hey Kyle! If you want something different one good option would be 2004-2007 Volvo S60 R Manual. Reliable factory 300hp with awd, good platform for tuning and using e85. Best part would be awesome 5 cylinder turbo sounds that the 2.5 liter engine makes.

This is actually a sick idea! My dad drives an 07' Volvo XC70 2.5T (the brick stationwagon) and for what it is, that car is great! I love driving it! I believe the 2.5 turbo engines that Volvo uses is the same one that's in the previous Gen focus ST's as well! You can easily make good power on these engines and still have the luxury of a euro car!
Might be a little out there, but.... 3rd gen TRD supercharged Toyota 4runner. 4 doors, 4wd, reliable 5vz-fe motor. Great for hauling parts around and taking guests around town. When you get bored, build it up, or swap some one tons and 40s under it. It'd be way out there for your channel, but, I think it'd be sweet.
I would go with the Accord 2.0T. Cheaper than the CTR, plenty of features, and tuneable. Could definitely be a project in the future. I would like to see what you could do with it. Another option could be a newer WRX. Also has potential for the future.
I am a current FK8 type R owner and I daily mine. It’s perfect for everything. Plenty of room for shopping and people, plenty of power to have some fun and super reliable. I think it would be a great daily for you as well and to keep the Honda fleet growing!
Would love to see wago go full daily mode. Throw on a full exhaust with a muffler and res, maybe some more sound deadening etc. Seems like a ton of fun and unsuspecting on the street
If you want a realiable comfortable 4 door daily thats also fun you should look into a Ford Focus RS or ST, those are reliable, modern and just great fun to drive or modify down the road.
My vote is to a RS3 or F80 M3!! This would bring a whole new audience down the road when mods come. They are both great and highly capable in all aspects. You wouldn’t regret either!

I love the idea of a sleeper, looking at Cletus's "stock" marauder. Something newer, but undercover that you can kind of upgrade as and when you feel like.
Bro you ain't lying. Back in the summer I was looking for a fun weekend/project car and checked out a few EVO's and i couldn't find a good one for under 18-20k. Even somewhat beat ones were over 10k. I couldn't believe I could get a first gen cts-v/G8/Gto for less then a EVO. I ended up settling for a clean 05 GTO for 12k.
SUPER late to the party.. just found your channel about a month ago looking for MR2 builds, love everything else too. I’ll catch up someday lol. I’m a little sad you didn’t consider Nissan/Infinit. Out of all of the JDM cars I’ve owned, my G35 was hands down my favorite. That was the first car I didn’t feel like I needed to modify to be happy with. I’m sure I’ll find out what you actually went with shortly, but if your ever in the market again, an Infiniti sedan or SUV is a phenomenal option for a daily. Hey Kyle, the noise comes from the gas tank ventilation. there is a membrane in the tank ventilation that lets air pass into the tank when some fuel has been drained and a depression is created. This is absolutely normal ;) have fun with the hatch, good to see it back :D
I was just thinking the same thing. I don’t remember off the top of my head exactly how the EVAP system works on that generation of civics, but I would bet that it is the cause of the noise. Easy way to test is to just drive it for a little bit so that the fuel pump gets warm (will cause the fuel to heat up and therefore “evaporate” quicker, building tank pressure), Park it in the shop, pull the fuel cap off, and keep an ear out to see if makes noise. If not, then the noise is just tank pressure bleeding off through the EVAP system.
RS3 with just an Intake and Unitronic E85 tune will put you at 530+awhp with all the creature comforts and reliability to daily drive in any weather. 4 doors with good cargo space. Plus is sounds amazing, especially with some catless mid-pipes. Highly recommended.
I would go with an audi over bmw. Rs3 is definitely a change of style for the channel but would blow your balls off. Def go for an rs3 if you can. You won't regret it.
My pick would be a 1997-2002 Audi B5 s4. Has the 2.7l twin turbo. Would be a unique car you don't see often. Gives you some awd fun and it could definitely be made into a beast as a future channel project. Spend the money on a lower mileage one. It'll last you years to come.
A civic type r would be a great addition to the family. Great car overall and plenty of future upgrades you can do. It comes with all the nice comforts and the clutches aren’t bad at all. Also have hill assist which is always nice.
Kia Forte GT Manual would be a good fun daily. 1.6L turbo, 201hp, fully loaded they’re about $28,000. Then again I’m a mechanic for Kia and know they’re simple to work on and very reliable
You should think about getting a Saab 9-3 Turbo X, all-wheel drive, 2.8T v6, 6 speed. they are unique and don't see many of them. Would be super cool to see on the channel. They are also reliable and quick.
I love my 19 accord 2.0 touring. Has all the creature comforts that you could want and for a 4 door bone stock sedan it will run a 14.4. I know that's still slow but it's fun
I think an early 2000 model forester would be a pretty good daily 👌🏽 AWD, plenty room for parts, and people all without spending a ton of money. Would be a pretty cool built in the future as well cause I'm sure it will come to that with what ever you decide to go with.
Honestly throwing my vote in for the RS3, I've been researching different Audis a lot for myself for an upgrade in the near future and the tuning potential with them is pretty crazy, they make super fun street cars with all the luxury you'd expect from Audi. With a little tuning I bet it would make a great car to take to the Freedom Factory's spectator drags as well

Tbh i have an Toyota Matrix an it's by far the best daily, it's like a minivan, but feel like a car. I have the 2,4l vvti and it does feel good. Not an honda but, i really enjoy it everyday, and the cargo space, when you drop the backseat, it's all plastic, so perfect for my dog and it's does fit so much stuff in it. By far, been taking so much abuse, and run perfect everyday. Never let me down, and even if i have to drive it for 4h, kinda comfortable.
I think you should look into the newer Civic, I think it would be so cool to see your first car, next to a newer Civic, circling back to the good old days, dailing the hatch. Love the vids, keep up the amazing work 👍
