Things seem to be returning to normal in the hockey world. By normal, we mean nothing is predictable and incredible stories appear out of thin air. Fans have returned to the stands, in some cases full capacity. The officials are just as scared to make an impact on the game that they're making an impact on the game. People are angry and elated, but mostly angry at coming up short. Thrilling victories and heartbreaking defeats: It's all here in the NHL.
This time we have the ultimate Cup favorite vs. underdog story. The Tampa Bay Lightning were expected to be contenders and have done so, eager to defend their title from all opponents. The Montreal Canadiens weren't expected to come anywhere close to the final, yet they ride incredible form and potent gamesmanship to get here. Both teams have vastly differing paths, but they both strive for the same thing: The Stanley Cup.
