Love how this is not a product commercial, instead its like talking to a real person about the new goggles.

The hardware looks really impressive. I still don't know if I'm sold on HD Zero but I have to say the FPV market has gotten much more competitive over the last year.

I was interested in these, so wanted to watch a couple reviews, and check comments. I gotta say, you give a refreshing review! I'm old school, and I don't mean just analog, which I've been brought up on, I'm 70 years old. After watching the 40min info video, I watched yours, because you were mentioned in said previous video. and proceeded to laugh my ass off, while being given all the good dope I needed. Yours is the first to show any kind of successful bando flying. My first fat shark/hdzero HD vrx & vtx, Had on my HD3's would drop video around the back of my wood home. So this looks like the improvement I'm looking for, to pull the trigger on Looks a lot better than my first generation FS hd. Guess I'll have to save a couple soc. sec. checks.Lol Loved the vid btw, I'll be back for more:-)

100%, I flew analog and digi-jitter-potato, and feel like the potato digital really holds me back trying to do anything accurate. It’s great for cinematic stuff, but close-in freestyle, sbang, racing? Nah. HDZero gives me that immediate, analog feel, that tight, riding-the-quad feeling of analog, but lets me see almost as good as the Darth Vader goggles. Actually, I did a test, and HDZero can see grass better than smeagoggles or analog. HDZero doesn’t potato out. I got my new HDZero goggles, and I have put so many more packs through, it’s crazy. It feels like less hassle than the other digital stuff, it’s as easy as analog but so much clearer. They are absolutely my main goggles now. Also, this might be the best review you’ve given a product since dabs lol

Why the break was more severe on second pass - easy. Different antenna angle during the dive. HdZero works great in low light, adding 30 minutes of flight in twilight

It looks like you got better range with these than the Emax ones. Would you be into testing those patch antennas on the Emax goggles to see if the antennas make a difference? I know you used other antennas with the Emax goggles with not much difference, but I'm wondering if the special antennas will do the trick.

After three years of shitty analog googles ... these are the ones, time to lift the fog. I ordered them yesterday. Watched the analog DVR in fullscreen on my UHD monitor, it looks pretty incredible, compared to the 360p DVR of my Sky02s LOL All the best to you man

my fatshark scout's analog version, when my signal starts getting bad it will freeze frame and lag and its super hard to fly through, compared to my emax transporter 2 analog goggs that were my first pair, they would break up and get bad but it would never freeze frame and lag like the scouts, so its not just digital that lags, it depends on your receiver and some analog has the worst of digital and the worst of analog, the scouts will go from decent picture to freeze frame in an instant, the frozen frame even looks decent, so im a lot less confident in my scouts than the transporter 2's but the scouts fit my glasses and i can see way better also the screen is way nicer and so i do prefer the scouts, and over time im getting better at flying through the freeze frames, it can happen so randomly too sometimes im not even behind anything really and it will freeze frame for a second, you always need to be thinking ahead of the quad and ready for it, and the more time i spend in them the better im getting with it, also they are shockingly bad at handleing multipathing lol so yeah not all analog systems are perfect either

Great review. Glad you like them. I agree HDZero has come leaps and bounds since they were being so restricted by the fact that they were working with Fatshart. The confidence you talk about is the same reason I always reach for my HDZero quads in almost all cases. When I want a boring slow cruise flight for the scenery, or massive amounts of penetration and damn the latency, I'll fly my DJI. But These goggles take HDZero to the next level, and it is now, finally a complete system! Hope more people come around to these goggles and this system. DEATH TO ANAL-OG!!!!

going to be switching to digital? sounds like youre happy with it. understandably you have invested a bunch into analog. i have the dji v1 and 5 units so im not spending anymore money lol.

This looks really good. I put an O3 in my demibot but not so good. Not sure what I want just yet. I expected it to be great. Maybe it was the overcast day. HDZero is legit.

The software is fully open source, so it'll get updates until the community gives up on them.

they need to make more durable vtx's.. but so far it looks really good...better than I expected. sucks that racers experienced so many fragile vtx's... but I guess that can be solved.

Sharkbyte is the same system as Hdzero... The cameras just weren't as good when you tested sharkbyte.... You will have better rf reception with the hdzero goggles though as the receiver is that much better.
