The Head and the Heart perform "Cats and Dogs & Coeur D'Alene" live in the KEXP studio. Recorded 7/17/10. Host: Hannah Levin Engineer: Tom Hall Cameras: Jim Beckmann & Luke Knecht Editing: Luke Knecht
Coeur D'Alene is up there as one of my favorite songs for so many reasons (and this performance in particular), but especially the lyrics "you're in my soul now, you've got to waste away with me". Will always hold a special place in my heart ❤
it seems clearly they love what they do. their passion is almost as important as their voices. all their videos here are simply full of energy. don't loose it guys. you're great and just make my days happier.
5:02 when jon starts singing is like the best part of the song for me like the way you dont hear his voice the entire time and then its just there all the sudden and so powerful its just beautiful
The Head and the Heart, Mumford and Sons, Blind Pilot, and old Avett Brothers stuff is all I'll ever need again... These are are absolutely amazing! Wish they would come closer to South Dakota for a concert :(
I cant really even begin to explain how much i love this band....they sound SO amazing live, and their music is amazing! I can proudly say that their album is the only album i can listen to all of the songs without skipping any. every song is catchy and beautiful:)
Seen these guys twice live now, watching this video a couple months ago was the first time i ever heard of them, watching it again, i remember why i fell in love with them
Saw them this past Sunday night in albuquerque new mexico. The whole club was dancing. They're headed to SxSW next. Watch out Austin! Here they come!!!!
All witty and relevant comments said and considered, just had to say DAMN what a bunch of handsome guys we have here! (and yes, of course their music's gorgeous too)
Somewhere underneath The floorboard I will sweep my garden Underneath the cupboard Lives a mouse And he discovered There was nothing there Nothin' there to discover Fallin' from the sky There are raindrops in my eyes And my thoughts are diggin' in the backyard My roots have grown but I don't know where they are Don't know where they are I don't know where they are My roots have grown but I don't know where they are Cats and dogs and rooster calls Telephones and pay phone stalls They take away The lonely days For now They take away The lonely days For now
I think we are going to be hearing a lot more of you, really, really great music. I look forward to your appearance on Later With Jools Holland in the UK, it has to happen.
