Awesome! Can't wait! I personally would love to hear some older stuff in addition to the new songs. Songs like The Last With Pagan Blood, Amon Amarth (Self Titled song maybe never played live, but usually played before the show in strings), Legend Of a Banished Man, Down the Slopes of Death, Where Silent God's Stand Guard, or my favorite Embrace of the Endless Ocean.

Your favorite is my favorite. I've been a musician for 25 years now and I can play just about anything pretty well but my guitar is how I get my soul out. i first heard of Amon Amarth because Twilight of the Thunder God was a bonus track (iirc) on Guitar Hero 5 in 2009 as a gift to my 5 year old son to try an get him into music so I bought the whole drum set and guitars and whatever else with all the DLC too because I kinda got really into it because to me, it was like learning a brand new instrument, and we used to all play together as a family almost every night. I got super into Amon Amarth and took the time to learn to play most of their songs and my Son and I are still hardcore Amon Amarth fans to this day and forever. Sorry for the overshare but you unlocked a core memory in my brain.

It's all just cosplay. Other nations/cultures people striving aggressively for biological/territorial supremacy. And successfully. Skalds were meant as a support, not replacement fur such striving. But now the 'skalds' simply pacifiers. Baldur may listen with Hel and an appeal sent to the Creator of All, But that's not happening, having been appropriated and discounted as pure fantasy by the world and ethnic northern europeans alike. Besides, why should Baldur/Hel intervene and advocate to the Creator Of All for the remnant? What would the appreciation be? Likely just spiteful ingratitude. Plenty of time to eliminate meat (Pork in particular) and establish a shamanic system that was sustainable. That time is long past. Better get rich, it's all you got dudes.
