they were clearanced out bc they were a time-sensitive thing. so the employeess waited for the massive discount, bought and probably sold straight back ti gamesteop. I'd even wager they were likely trying to hide the 3 copies with all that clutter until a supervisor noticed how gross it all looked, and ordered a resetter to fix the aisle. proof - I used ot work retail, this is pretty common
Who'd knew trying to become fodder for videogame theory and lore explanation channels wouldn't be profitable in the long run when their audience grow out of it, and, instead try to look for actually interesting games like what Hello Neighbour could have been hadn't they rejected everything that made it unique, and possibly even revolutionary in place of incomprehensible lore. A true mystery.
I mean, FNaF has been running off of incomprehensible lore without any good gameplay (save for HW2) since SB, and they're still doing good, so it works for some people
@@Drsunshine777 FNaF has the amazing virtue of good character design, any franchise can take off if they've got a solid assortment of goobers, not to mention the rich atmosphere of the game, the latter two, are things HN lack. On top of that, the first FNaF's gameplay was pretty alright for an indie game that came out of nowhere, as opposed to Hello Neighbour, which not only was hyped up to dissapointment, but also suffered a great downgrade.
I'm currently in a warzone, constant explosions and screams. I'm about to defeat the enemy team but I got a uhyeah gaming notification and now oklahoma is about to explode but it was worth it for this story about hello neighbor.
@@KrazyDoggo i know you aren't talking to me but i am in oklahoma and let me say that our houses are built to survive we are the tornado land after all
@@chipsleftwingYou don’t know ? For Phil, long story short, a person on Twitter got Cyber bully and got sent gore video because he talked shit about Fnaf + and, if you know Phil he said « sent me the video instead » to joke because he don’t take to much things seriously (he said it himself) and a little later asked his subscribers to stop sending thing like that to the person. Because he didn’t said it sooner, another creator of the Freddy Fanverse Initiative alerted Scott and Phil had to cancel Fnaf +, delete all his content on RU-vid about Fnaf and can’t talk about Fnaf anymore. (I don’t know if I’m correct or not sorry, just look Phisnom Fnaf+ canceled, maybe you will find something more descriptive of what happened. Have a good day)
Maybe walmart was into it too, they were doing their own experiment, they were like “ok not a soul on planet earth would spend their hard earned money on this, can we get someone to steal it instead?” And eventually gave up, cause the game isn’t even worth stealing
Reminds me of that one time during one of phisnom’s stream where he was speaking entirely in Spanish except for one random point where he said *HELLO NEIGHBOR*
It's so tragic because Hello Neighbor 2, especially through all of the amazing updates, is honestly a realy good 8/10 videogame. It's like the freaking boy who cried wolf. Eerie Guest/ Dynamic Pixels kept publishing so many overhyped and awful Hello Neighbor games that once they made something actually amazing, no one trusted the series anymore.
my face when TONS of false promises (neural network AI and open world being the big two), AI that is worse than the first game, boring ass lazy puzzles (copy pasted number code and scissor-cobweb "puzzles" throughout the whole game), and a shitty cliffhanger ending...and don't even get me STARTED on the Guest/crowman area!
@@matthewmarchetti5395 a lot of these updates just add small things or small features, the only one that really add content is the one with the guest, but imo that new mode is really similar to hello guest
If Hello Neighbor has one million fans I am one of them. If Hello Neighbor has ten fans I am one of them. If Hello Neighbor has only one fan, that is me. If Hello Neighbor has no fans, that means I am no longer on this earth. If the world is against Hello Neighbor, I am against the world.
You can’t pick one. There’s all three songs that JT music made for the series, there’s DA game’s song and fandroid’s song. So say which one you actually mean.
I played hello neighbor 2. Some aspects were slightly better, some aspects were worse. The story definitely made even less sense. The puzzles were exhausting to figure out. The gameplay was a little more fun to play as there was more to do. I like the character designs more. I personally encountered less glitches compared to the first game (that's not saying a lot, the game is still a buggy mess). Honestly, I'd say that it's about the same as the first. Just more hello neighbor, basically.
Honestly, the game would just be sorta bad, but nothing to noteworthy if the game didn't have a ludicrous amount of cut content, false advertising, and actual unfinished day one DLCs.
@@foxxyfoxagirl1854 We also could do without the whole "begging matpat to make theories about it" thing. I respect their grind but in my opinion it comes off as desperate, greedy, obnoxious and cheap. Like the game is just a publicity stunt to make as much money as possible rather than an actual passion-driven project (which is basically what it is now).
Oh shit forgot about that one as well lol. That one was also really funny. Such a shame that this project has fallen so to shit. The original concept for Hello Neighbor was interesting, and the final game turned out garbage. Big oof. @@kitsunemusicisfire
There's a huge amount of stuff with Hello Neighbor 2. Its really funny. Did you know that the entire mod team was kicked from their server at one point after Hello Neighbor 2 released? They also banned an ex mod because of an accusation of false advertising, which related to the promise of neural networking, which was heavily in the marketing, but never actually ended up in the game. Its really funny. If you wanna see a shitshow of a game, as well as some of the most cut content you'd ever see in a game, Hello Neighbor 2 is your best bet. Lol.
yeah when HN2 came out the mods in the company-run Discord went WILD removing messages and banning users because they were talking about how they had been lied to about the game's content and features for years. They even went so far as to ban one of their own ex-mods because he was talking about it
Yeah, at one point I was actually friends with one of those ex mods. I don't remember em much but I recognized their username when they posted about it on Twitter. I hope their still doing will, they were really kind and friendly! @@coolwing79
Legit, there’s been a copy of HN2, the exact same with the plush in it, since like launch. It’s still there, full price, and I’m so tempted to buy it, I get a discount for working there anyways
The current state of hn2 is, to me, in a state better than hn1 was, and is at the very least playable. That doesn't mean it is a good game, however the developers did successfully patch out a ton of major bugs, though it did take around a year or so to get to that point.
Legit what made it worse was the fact bendy and the dark revival came out of the exact same year so majority of people play that game instead probably 🤣😂
people cared about Hello Neighbour because it had a genuinely unique concept that the developers not only didn't deliver upon, they actively went against that concept/selling point more and more every time.
You know, there's another horror game you can play. It's called eyes the horror game. It's a really fun game. You collect 20 money bags will be in case by monsters. You got charlie you that You got a good boy. You got Ursula, awake crazy, I'm. And there's also. And there's also the abandoned hospital. You've got a band of mansion, abandoned mansion. You got a school, you got a school. Abandoned in a hospital with mysterious potions. That give you power ups, I'll also a bandit
Day 3 of reviewing the UCN roster in character select order Chica Probably the least scary of the OG 4, Something about the proportions just look very off to me in a goofy way. Rating:8/10
Gotta love these videos about random shit that are JUST long enough to qualify for ad revenue You go king, milk random shit no one cares about watching uhyeah used to be fun
I'm surprised HN was as popular as it was considering hardly any of their games were good. The first one had so much promise in the beginning and then got absolutely butchered halfway through development. Yet somehow, TinyBuild managed to ride the wave of success from the alphas, despite the full release and later games just ultimately sucking.
