Chuck, hi what's up man. When I was a kid I use to watch Yo MTV raps & watch your videos & listen to your interviews. I use to hear the words "Fight The Powers That Be" but it didn't really rezinate with me. On a personal level at that time one thing that bothered me about my brother back then was he would have this attitude about white people & Italians & say Christopher Columbus was a pedophile & a monster who slaughter people. It use to make my Gramps mad but he was a sweet man so he would crack back on him but you could tell his blood was boiling, his parents came to America from Italy in 1920. That's just a side note. I was writing to you because I am older now. I'm 49, Im where I'm at in life now & I was writing recently & talking about the powers that be. I wrote this one thing saying to myself if I was America's enemy I would want to keep America in this entanglement with Russia & Ukraine, just trying to see things from a different p.o.v. & then the other day I wrote if I was an "enemy of America" I would be telling America's youth straight up , this is who America is, this is what America is about, the "Military Industrial Complex". This is unfolding in plain site for all to see, it's completely raw & naked what is unfolding in the world not only America. Ukraine Russia & the Middle East. I'm not going to go into the details of how the world works & what America does to stay strong & at the same time put itself in jeopardy with it's actions & conduct. Im writing to you on a more personal level. I have been writing & thinking about all of this stuff & the other day I thought to myself, am I am enemy of America , do I hate America, was is it that makes me feel this way. I've never really considered that before, never thought about it & explored it from a personal self analysis level. I was thinking about it last night, I slept a little on & off thru out the night. I was up in the am hours & came to a realization, a moment of clarity that eased my troubled heart. I believe when I was writing & thinking about " am I am enemy of America" I came to the thought & feeling within myself that in that moment, in that energy, in that level of consciousness I was in "I was fighting the powers that be", I was the embodiment of "Public Enemy" I was living it, this brought comfort to my heart feel fully conscious with in myself & confident with who I am & what I'm about. I believe I understand & can see clearly & understand more about who "Public Enemy" is & was about. I also can see & understand my brother more as we have grown older in life as well.
